I think it would be best if I pulled out of this, I know I've been put down as part time but I'd rather not be taking up a possible place for someone who can do full time. Best of luck with the series, it looks like it'll be a great one!

At this time we're not quite at a full grid, so until such a time as we do there's no need for you to feel obliged to withdraw. The more the merrier as the saying goes.

The main problem is I take part in another series that starts around midnight. (lobby opens at 11). As I'm already halfway (i think) through the season in that championship that takes priority. So I'll take part tonight if I can get there in time but I can't promise I'll finish. If It all gets too complicated I'll have to pull out.

Can someone please clarify the ruling on cutting the wide concrete run-off (maybe turn 4 or 5). The standard "keep 2 wheels on the track surface" is a nice concept, but with a second a lap advantage, people are going to cut it anyway. Since the penalties will be turned off, I'd like to know what level of enforcement there will be. I'd like to see someone who cuts that section with all four wheels off track more than 3 times, be disqualified. If this section is "fair game", then we should make it known before the race starts.

I believe the standard rule is 2 wheels on track & 2 wheels on concrete same as rumble strips. 👍

Yes, we all know the rule, but few abide by it on this track, through this section. I just want to ensure that people actually follow the rule by defining some sort of penalty for disregarding the rule.

ME and dave will first of all trust that you wont cut it, but to lay down the rules of it, like roadrunner said 2 wheels is fine... we will be watching the replay to see and handing out penalties accordingly, we understand that it is possible for the car to get out of shape over the crest around there so if it was a slip then it wont count against you, but if it is a blatant cut then it will be a time penalty at end which can put you down the field... hope that helps

Thank you ... it does help. It's just that I've never seen a race here where people don't go straight across (even with the best of intentions). That's why I suggested something like 3 mis-steps before we assume it's intentional. This track is hard enough to pass on as it is and it's just so tempting to pass here for some :)

I've been testing round here for weeks now and haven't had a problem with that corner and that's with following GTE cars as well, just depends on the maturity of the driver

The thing that I needed to go to tonight has been rescheduled until tomorrow as it wasn't convenient for everyone else tonight. As such I will be racing tonight - hopefully I'll be in good mood too

I'll be able to make the race, although I'm not sure if I'll be able to finish it as I have another series I take part in which is already quite a few races in.

Very glad to hear it mate

That's all good mate, if you get to 70% then you may still get points as well so bonus lol

if everyone can be on track by latest 40 mins as spec checking and then a 20 min qualifying then the race will start promptly on the hour

What tire compound is alocated for this race. There is Hards, Mediums & Softs, but we don't have to use all 3?

There is 1xHard, 2xMeds, 2xSofts. You use up one in Quali then use them however you want over the whole event

Edit: Dave's just sent a message saying this might not be the case, so we'll find out when he arrives, though the lobby is open if you'd like to join.

stink with what we have already

@TNT, You don't move for the LMP cars, they have to find a way around you,

I've been "glitch stuck" in the pits for 14 minutes now,
