I'm only a part time driver too. Working most weekends and gf is home when I don't. I can leave this series if someone else can and wants to race instead of me.

I ran a private test in my spare Nomad Diablo at Deep Forest Raceway after the Clio Cup season-opener and ran a fastest lap in the high-1:12s. Better than I thought it would do. And yes, it was run at the set specs.

There's no need mate but thankyou, ANFD Can only do maybe 2 rounds so his spot will open up again, plus there are another 2-3 part time drivers including you so make what you can 👍

If there's any room, I would like to join!

Sure can mate, only Pescarolo's available,

Is there a test race tomorrow or are you guys starting round 1 next week April 13th?

Yes, After GT4 Test, the 13th is the first official round! with a almost full field this is looking good,

I hope that was on medium tires?

Testing will be open from 8PM GMT today and will be open for about 3-4h so there is good time for people to show up.... it will be really good if we can get as many people on track at once

@Dave/Memto If you're still going for between 60 and 90 minutes race time, 3 sets of tyres for the race might be an issue. If you're racing quickly on them, both softs and mediums are only good for around 20 laps; including pit stops 60 laps is only around 70 mins tops, unless you're deliberately trying to involve tyre saving in the race strategy by forcing us to go longer?
Might be worth adding another set if that's the case, or just claim the quali tyre is carried over to the start, defining your starting compound rather then being removed altogether?

it is set up to induce a form of strategy for the races, as you will need to learn when to push and when to hold back and also to try and think about how to play your cards, the 3 tyre per race still stands for that reason, it will how ever be fully tested tonight and if needs be then a 4th tyre will be added under race conditions

I hope you have time to wait with race start until I get there :) and I have to leave 23 gmt for another race

Actually it was on softs.

I guess I forfeit my spot. The r10 might get me in trouble with pd since its not a U.S. car. Id take the Toyota but seems its in use.

If you want to run a regular R10, go ahead. There shouldn't be anything wrong with that.
