And hopefully it won't end with my pole being ruined by being rammed off at turn 1. If I were to get pole that is :P

GTE lap time seems to be about a low 1.47, tested both the Ford GT and Audi R8 with the specs from the OP and they were almost identical.

It shouldn't mate, for anyone on the front row,

Also tomorrow is D-Day for those whom haven't got back to me about your attendance, you will be removed,

Think I mentionef it, but won't make the next 2 races. Give away my spot if necessary. It's better to fill grid than having many people not showing up.

I'm aware Kev 👍 but other's have signed up and never came back,

Here is some onboard footage of how an LMP driver is expected to overtake GTE cars while lapping them, This kind of driving is expected from all LMP drivers,

This is not how to pass GTE cars and this will result in penalties,

That was :ouch: ouch

That is a dramatised version of how NOT to do it, believe it or not but he did that around an hour into the race,

I might be able to make Monza if theres room in either class. I have all these cars so just tell me.

GTE Mate, I think I should make you a super sub for it? You do enjoy most of the vehicles.

Can I join in the Pescarolo C60 GV5 '04 for Monza?

Sure can mate,👍

some things have been brought to my attention, Stonesea will be a primary reserve for the Pescarolo Hybride due to the fact he is an on call emergancy services worker, so if he manages to make the event he will be the first to claim that car, As for the rest of you, most have already notified me about your leavings so your vehicle is up for use on those weeks,

Reminder, any of the other highlighted driver's who do not get back to me about your presence/ leavings will be removed from that car in the next 24 hours,

Also, Last night I was in quite a horrific truck accident, I'm suffering terribly from amnesia of the incident, and possible fractures to my lower back, arms, shoulders, neck, ribs and heavy swelling on the brain, I am almost ok, I have to have proper scans and x-ray's etc later today to determine the extent of the damage, There is a strong chance I won't be able to make the event this week, so Memto will be hosting,

Thanks,

Rather do lmp, GTE is slow but fun. Monza won't be kind to the Nissan Z LM though. Thats my preferable car in that class. It has the worst top speed even if its the same power as another car. I think only the GTR LM is slower on the top end  Try it out and see if you come to the same conclusion, Dave.

174mph at Circuit de la Sarthe 2009 and still 3'51.5 @ 1240kg

GTR LM concept? haven't got it, and it has never come up in my UCD, same with the NSX-R,

You will have to wait until race day then mate, If the GTE field is looking low again then you may have to jump in one of those, if not then then who ever doesn't show up in LMP I guess there car is available,

Tested recently at Monza in the GTE-spec Diablo and ran a best lap in the 1:51 range and got about 8-9 laps on a quarter of a tank of fuel on Racing Mediums.

Welcome to the World Endurance Championship,
GTE Cars available,
All set for Monza April 27th

HOW THINGS WORK

Room will open between 8:30PM GMT and 9PM GMT Saturday evening, The room will be hosted by either myself TDZdave or Memto89,

LMP and GTE Multiclass event, 8 Cars per class, Races would last around an hour and 15 minutes too an hour 30 minutes, with 2 Endurance races, Lasting around 2 hours 30 minutes,

Qualifying, will be a 15 minute session followed by the race countdown timer for all circuits, Except Spa Francorchamps and Le Mans, In which will have a 20 minute qualifying followed by a 5 minute break for you to sort your food, fluid and bathroom commitments for an endurance event,
Also, The field will not be cleansed after qualifying, So if you are in an LMP car and have a horible run you cannot expect to be bumped up to the back of the LMP field, you will start where your qualifying time dictates,

Laps will be worked out to around the 1 hour 10 minute mark according to the LMP pole time, For Spa Francorchamps and Le Mans the laps will be sorted to the LMP pole time to the value of 2 hours 30 minutes,

Tires
Soft tires only, apart from intermediates and wets where required,

The Races, All races will have 1 full pace lap,
Changes to start procedure,
I am making changes to the starting procedure as of the replay's I have viewed on my profile and of youtube of rolling start event's that being on the front row is almost a hinderance so the following procedure will be used from Monza thoughout the season,
+) Cars will roll at pace speed around the circuit as usual, (Changes)
+) The leaders will slow pace to bunch the field up prior to the final turn of the warm up lap,
+) once the field is bunched the leaders will proceed through the final turn onto the front straight,
+) When the 2 lead cars are on the painted grid lines it is up to the pole winner to start the race, They can start the race from any point on the painted grid lines to the start line,
+) If they cross the start line and haven't gone then the race is green, their loss,

I'n summary, the pole winner dictactes the pace lap, at pace speed, They have to ensure the field is bunched up, (near as makes no difference as some drivers will tail back to ensure their own safety in turn 1, once the leader gets to the painted grid slots its their choice to go, if they get to the start line and haven't gone then the race will also go green,
(Bare in mind that these may change race to race, so suit the track we are racing on, these will be released in the driver's briefing one week out from the event,)

Overtaking and lapping,[/B] Be patient, overtaking points will come, You will never win the race on lap 1,
Lapping, GTE cars will be expected to maintain their line, It is up to their discretion to get out of an LMP cars way, "removing" them from the circuit will result in a penalty,

This is a championship, Points will only be awarded for top 5 only in each class, Bonus points maybe awarded for, Class Pole Position, class fastest lap, And class most laps led, and leading a lap at the start line,
Points are in this order
1st) 5
2nd) 4
3rd) 3
4th) 2
5th) 1
1 Point for pole and 1 for fastest lap of the race (Each category)
Double Points will be awarded for the two endurance races, You must complete 90% to claim any points,

Penalties will be dealt with accordingly per class steward, I TDZdave am the head steward, Memto89 is the LMP steward and Johnnyb is the GTE steward,
2) If an LMP causes a GTE car to spin or crash while lapping them, the LMP driver will either wait and allow the GTE driver to retake their position and get up to race speed before retaking them, Or have the time lost for the GTE car +2 seconds added to the final result time,
If you are not sure if you have recieved a penalty or warning from an event, They will be published at the bottom of the OP, they will be published by Monday evening after the race, If we have yet to come to a decision it will be published as TBD,
Corner Cutting Two wheels must remain on the black stuff at all times, (or kerbing) If it is deemed by us that you have been cutting corners you will be served a penalty pending how much it cut or how many times,
Also, Do not arrive in a "Hybrid" or "Hacked" vehicle, you will be removed on the spot! NO EXCEPTIONS!

THE CARS AND DRIVERS, There will only be one of each car,
These are always subject to change
In the event of a new driver/ 1 off appearance driver they may participate in any car not being used for that event,
All full time drivers will use the car they sign up in, unless they wish to drop back to GTE or elevate up to LMP,
Part time driver's are expected to use the vehicles they sign up for,
Any reserve drivers willing to participate on short notice must have access to most cars listed,
Vehicle rules, No additional turbo's or super chargers, Anyone caught using a Hacked/ Hybrid car will be promtly removed! DO NOT TEST MY PATIENT ON THIS!

DolfinDiamond, Taking a warning for multiple corner cutting during the race and possibly qualifying during round 1, We are unsure if we made it clear in the drivers briefing that certain track sections were classified as out of bounds, You will be monitored at Monza on this issue,
We are adjusting the OP accordingly to make the rules more clear on track boundaries,

ANFD Is allowed stage 3 tuning and turbo on the Audi, (ANFD ONLY)

ROUND 2, MONZA
DRIVERS BRIEFING

THIS MUST BE SEEN BY ALL DRIVERS!

Normally we wouldn't and shouldn't need to do this but Monza is such an extreme place with high speeds that we felt that some extra information was needed to be implimented for this event, otherwise we some parts of this will be used to relay you guy's standard information on the up coming round,

1) Referring to the OP, If your name is highlighted on the list and you do not comment on thread notifying us of your attendance you will be removed from the OP, we have had several tests and 1 event, some of you have turned up to the test, and not been to the race, while others have signed up and not attended at all, we can get full fields guys, don't waste our time,

2) New driver's or one off driver's will be required to use initial spec's, the spec update list is based on the driver's capabilities not the car, we know what the cars can do,

3) Remeber the field does not get cleansed after qualifying, you will remain in your exact qualifying position, ( don't think it will matter at Monza)

Track information

Circuit) Autodromo Nazionale Monza/ Change weather,
Laps) 40+1 Pace (41 total)
Settings) Weather 25%, Weather changability 2, Surface water 0%

Monza Specific rules)

1) GTE Cars, This needs to be stressed, It is not up to you to let the LMP car through, It is up to the LMP car to get past you, It is up to your discretion to allow an LMP car past but make sure you make you make your intentions clear to the LMP driver, This can be done by,
+) Moving over early,
+) vocally on a head set,
+) Slowing down,
Monza only! (This isn't a requirement of racing her!)+) At Monza only, If you are worried about the LMP drivier driving through you in a chicane then us, "The stewards" will allow you to cut the chicane, Provided=
The following LMP driver is clear on your intentions,
You come to almost a complete stop as to not gain advantage on other GTE cars,
However, as said above, it is up to the LMP driver to get past you and not impede you by doing so, Please trust our judgements, and any incident that does happen we will adjudicate penalties as we see fit,

The Two wheels on track rule, is exempt from the Ascari corners, as if you run into the dirt at part 2 and 3 that will hinder you, however,
Ascari entry, you are allowed to cut but if you kick up grass multiple times you will be penalized accordingly, (this is in play for the rest of the course)

Hey Dave, hope everything is all right mate....

I can do Monza, Spa for sure and LeMans also. For Monza a reference time for the LMP is?

I will do GTE. Thats fine if it needs entries. I will run either the Zonda or Nissan Z (if it gets some more power).

Hi there,

I can make this weeks race, aswell as next weeks.... I would be intrested in running the GTE. What cars are still available ?

if you turn up on the day then we can see which car is available, as it all depends on who shows up with what

If I subscribe or register for a race, then I turn up... Just would like to do some trainning in the car..... I never come unprepaired to a race, so if I have to wait untill saturday night to know in what car I would be, then I will not be racing...

I already know the Z is slow on the straights. The Zonda is cool where its at but the Z definitely will get left. I know from experience and from running it in joeV8s blancpain. Even though it has the highest power available, its slower than most on straights. The handling is superb though.
