The cars are a little harder with the added weight. But theyre still fast. I think you should pm me plux. I have a few setups you can try on the bentley.
I have a decent setup on that Diablo. It should be faster than the Jag. Its a straight line monster! If you wanna try it out compared to your tune I'll share it with you.
Yes, but it's cornering isn't so great. At Monza, I was easily able to outpace most of the GTE field in a straight line. But at Spa, with its abundance of high speed corners, it didn't work so well.
So, has it been decided which layout we'll be using?

Confirming my entry (if allowed) with the Audi R10 stealth (875kg 542hp). BTW Dave, to make it easier with the room 'spec check', you can allow the power to be 2hp above the value of 10. So instead of saying 540hp, just say 542hp, that way it comes out to be equal to what the online rooms allow you to give 👍
Yup. It's the 'worst' lmp car. Its not horrible, the others are better and easier. It won't take a unique setup to get the other cars working. The R10 will need a good setup to be on the pace the others can achieve.
I should be there. Hopefully I will wake in time. Question though, are we allowed to use the concrete before the right hander under the first tunnel? I think it would be best with the two classes here. I have been setting times without it though. In the 1:06's with my R10 stealth.
Concrete allowed or not? Would like an answer please.
Why? Youre creating a bottleneck for one of the tightest turns in the game with two classes of cars. This is why I wasn't fond of running this track. It's bad enough with one class of car, now theres 2 with huge speed differences and you're limiting the amount of track even further. Expect that track boundary to be abused or a good amount of issues.
Bentley is way fast. Just did some testing and could do mid-high 1:02s on Softs. Other lmps are left in the dust, at least @deep forest.
💡 here's a thought
I'm not in this series anymore, so I don't have "a car". If you're about as quick as the BMW at these specs that's cool. I wasn't talking about your speed, I was making a point that the Bentley is definitely the fastest car in LMP. So that should be the benchmark for specs of other LMP's.
I will do GTE. Thats fine if it needs entries. I will run either the Zonda or Nissan Z (if it gets some more power).
Zonda open? How bout those Nissan Z LM specs to help its top end?
Must be some slow times or something. I donno but Im positive the Z is definitely low on top speed. Are you allowing turbos and engine tuning or something?
Mid 1:46's with the Zonda. Mid to low 1:47s with the Z. No draft.
I asked that the Z be looked at for power but never got an answer. So I was using the Zonda because 443hp is weak especially on the Z. So why is it that the Z passes me on the straight even side by side? Was the Z at 443hp? I doubt it was.
Can anyone answer my question regarding the Z's power? I was slow on the straights, but in testing the Z was slower even with lower wing. No matter, my Zonda is broken in now so it might have better acceleration.
I was running 542hp 930kg, no turbos on the 908. I didn't setup a special tune so maybe 2:04s which is a little slow compared to the real life pace of <2:02s the R18 did last year.
I think the 908 is a little underpowered. 2:02.9 for me with the Bentley.
The Bentley is the best lmp imo. So easy to drive. I was slow with the 908 for a reason. Needed oil change. Still doing around low 2:04s compared to 2:03s with the Bentley though.
My setup is fine thanks. The car lags in top speed. I don't test low fuel runs to see qualifying pace. I run 10 laps and go for average time. Why do I have to go to your test sessions when they aren't even on the OP? Not to mention they're at some random time when I am not available. Also are you allowing turbos on lmp's or not?
Was a good test session. I tried out 3 lmps. R8 '05 (523hp 950kg no turbo) Toyota and my Peugeot at the specs people are running. I was fastest with the Toyota @2:03.1 then 2:03.5 with both the R8 and the 908 in free run. Its going to be close here!
Furi, you don't need power- you could do with a turbo though. The Judd engines aren't turbocharged like the diesels and Toyota/Bentley. That is what gives top speed imo. The 908 was tricky in the wet. My lsd settings were aimed at the dry with really awesome throttle response. A little too sensitive though. During the wet the tc would just cut off the gas, there was almost no acceleration at all until i hit 3rd gear. I set the rear toe at a unique setting -.40 with front toe at .00, that was really twitchy in the wet.
Just tried out the C60 at Spa and did a 2:04.6 with 58/90 downforce. That was with some quick setup. The braking is phenominal compared to my 908. I tried 8/8/7 lsd. Toe angles .00/-.20 f/r. Top speed was 303kmh. No turbo though. If I shortened the gears I think it would be in the low 2:04s, if I had a turbo maybe high 2:03s like the 908 was for me.
If you allow the R10, i would like to try the stealth again. I'm about equal with the 908 in the R10 stealth @563hp/900kg. I think I finally cured the snap oversteer.
I havent seen loose squirely lmp's before. Theyre low weight for a reasonTop speed wasn't an issue, just the differences between the lmp's. You still haven't said anything about the R10, I'll be at the test n give it a go.

Working for me. The issue I feel is the 5 speed transmission. But with only 20hp more and 30kg less than the Peugeot I was about .5-1.0 second slower. So with the new specs, I think 920-940kg with 691hp would be very competitive.
Thats your pace, not everyone else.
Did some running at Fuji F last night. A couple of friends of myne were there as well. 1:28.8 was my best with the R10 stealth @700hp 920kg with turbo 3. 1:28.7 was my best with the R8 '05 at the specs listed.
Yo whats with the pms like attitude you give out, memto? When the cars aren't equal, the rules stay getting changed, you change your stance on cars being allowed, you changed the tire usage, you don't consult others on what they feel; it makes this series look shoddy. I say pms attitude because the direction is unclear. You give out these new car specs that changes everything, but only a few people get to know about them. So they're ahead of the curve because they've had the specs before anyone else.
Another funny thing is the fact that I mentioned the specs in the beginning and certain cars. Now thats tossed out and you don't even allow a car that is closer to the current real life ones. The first it is all good, your series your specs. Though I did say it would be tough to get the R10 to work, but I got it working. But not allowed? How do we know there won't be another huge swing in the rules? Why would people continue to run this series if its not solid? Then you post these goofy smart-ass replies because I want to use the car that I originally wanted? You claim its slow in the corners, well you just added over a 100lbs. to some cars and kept others at their minimum weight. What makes the Audi different? Is it because the 'testers' are slow in it? Well Im not, so why the change? Don't even reply with some comeback. I'm being honest with my questions, not trying to get a rise.
Thats why there is success ballast. All these cars can be made equal with tinkering. If drivers don't get the best from them, whats the difference?
I want to make something clear. Mr. Memto you disrespected me today and thats uncalled for. You sitting there cursing at me telling me to "get the f--- out" and other foul language while my son is in the room? A 2 year old doesn't need to hear that crap. I had to laugh at it, I only ran different cars to see what their strong points were and the fact that this thread says that I might be able to switch or swap cars. So jumping on me for running different cars at a test where guys were running the track backwards seems a little goofy. What would you feel if someone was trying to curse you out with your kid in the room hearing it?
Enough is enough, you have continually nagged, nit picked, and antagonized the patrons of this series to the point where everyone is fed up!
Your continual questioning of everything, each tiny detail, and screwtineering and "steward advisory role" seriously, no one genuinely cares! we are only interested if you are participating, if you can help someone, or if you cannot attend, THAT IS ALL! we are not interested on your toe angles on a warm up lap, or what you can do in someone elses car, WE DON'T CARE!
Above is a multi quote, of quotes from you in which I continually think "Is this guy for real?" " oh jeez, what now?" I do not need to feel like this when monitoring my thread, and as for the actions, started by you, in which escalated to what eventually happened, you are out, You made Memto so frustrated that he snapped, You are not the only person in the world with a child, or a life outside of the game, This was anticipated by PD hence the mute button, anyone can use it, My child understands text talk, but I didn't throw a fit when you typed the nonsense you did, but I accepted that fact I can't change someones attitude, so I moved on, Time you did too,
Sorry it had to end this way,
Just try other cars and see what time's you achieve with them, that way you can see if the problem is the car, or "the driver"![]()
Ok, i didn't know you were talking about the jaguar, that car is a little bit odd on the curbs, but it can be fixed with a setup unlike the R10, that car suuuuucks X(
Just a little heads up to the LMP drivers, Please can you guys be very patient around Fuji (mainly in the 3rd sector) as there is a big long straight to over take GTE cars, and we would all like a nice clean race... I know you guys are good drivers anyway and I dont really need to tell you, but just as a little disclaimer lol
Target Lap times around here are
LMP: 1.23.5 - 1.24.5
Furi: 1.26.0 - 1:27.0
GTE: 1:32.0 - 1.33.0
Are you running the New specs or the old ones??Fixed 👍
Are you running the New specs or the old ones??
lol i did wonder if it was, but yes you should be a lot more competitive on track this timeMy sarcasm got lost... I am running the new one's of course, not turned a lap yet. Just saying how slow I am in LMP's![]()
mento89, please make clear how to do the formation lap, max speed an so, cause in Spa me and several other drivers stayed way behind on the start, i couldn't keep up the passe on the formation lap, it was too fast for a formation lap.

I am pulling out of this series... I have damaged my hand from playing too much and I need to rest it over a period of time so it can repair... Sorry guys but it was unavoidable...
Would I be able to get in on this with the Audi R8?
