Pretty much yea I know it doesn't make much difference but when the cars are running so close it could be the difference that changes everything

Bugger I didn't know that engine tuning wasn't allowed, I thought I had found the problem to my straight line speed, but no lol. Luckily I have got a spare viper that I won the other week, so I will have to get that run in before Le Mans :ouch:

There will be no penalties handed out as it is such a big track and it takes about 8 mins to watch 1 lap (you can only skip a lap at a time) and we like to see accidents from both drivers and tv view

Sunday night will be an official test session in conjunction with the wec feeder. The room will open at 22:00 bst... Be there to get the first idea of what the cars can do

nope the feeder and WEC will be on track at the same time... so 4 classes of cars on track at the same time

The test will be around Indy Road (times are set with set up for LMP 1 and GTE Pro are lemans.... LMP 2 and GTE AM are Indy setup)

LMP 1 - 1.21
LMP 2 - 1.24
GTE Pro - 1.28
GTE AM - 1.29

Sorry guys I have to pull out. The times are now too late for me :(

I will try and make 1 or 2 appearances if that’s ok and possible for me.

Pakos, The race is Saturday evening, are you referring to Sunday Morning or Sunday night?

Unfortunately we have had a rule change that means only full time drivers can compete... I can how ever point you on the direction of the feeder series rising stars, where anyone can join at any time and its run just like the wec just with lmp 2 and gte am cars

I can't make it tonight for the test at Indy but if you'll do a test during the week for Le Mans I will be there :)

There will be an official wec test at lemans sometime in the week.... This is just a pre season test for everyone to get on track and see who is who and what the cars and specs are like for this season

Damn you guys are such losers.... awful. Treated Seth like garbage (TDZ Dave you are a pompous, self righteous jerk, unreal.) and then make these ridiculous rules and act like you're running a real life racing series when in fact you're playing a soon to be defunct video game. Get a life, seriously. Peace out.

Nothing, It is over complicated and going to be difficult to steward, but there are 3 of us so nothing should be missed, 👍 looking forward to the weekend, feeling dang handy too,

on topic, Seth wasn't treated poorly, he was removed for his racing ethic and attitude, he would have been welcomed back had we seen evidence of race craft improvement and had nothing negative to say on the thread, he failed to do this, We race together in other series, we have replays to see what people are up too, and when someone says and I quote, "All I did was sit behind Seth and not attack him and just waited for him to nerf the car in front of him off track and I would gain a position" With the cars within .200 of a second on all circuits we have no room for that here,

Ummm.... Seth is much faster than you, and very clean driver with a great deal of success racing in GTP series. You were more than happy to go into his racing series thread and suggest multiple rules changes and such, yet when he makes suggestions or raises questions in this thread he is lambasted by you.

The funny part is, the real reason Seth isn't in this series has zero, nothing, to do with your suggested lack of "racecraft" (how pretentious can you be, again, a video game) but rather that he took exception to you and memto acting like he stole your firstborn child because he was testing different LMP's in a... testing room. He asked what the deal was, and you were rude, and he talked back. Lets stop lying to ourselves and keep it real, thanks, I was there for the whole thing.

On an unrelated note, what sort of times are the LMP guys getting around le mans in both race and qualy trim and also soft versus mediums?

I'm getting 3:24 on softs, I have not run meds yet but I'm guessing it will be about 4 secs a lap off

Little bit of testing yesterday showed I was in the 23's/24's on race runs on soft, likewise i'm yet to run the mediums.

After a bit of testing I can say that I'm on 3:22 on softs and 3:26 on mediums. But since the amount of fuel needed for the LMP is so high, beside tyre strategy to keep mediums for forty minutes, the most important thing will be pit strategy here in my opinion.

How many laps are we going to face at LeMans?

Lemans is a 3h race, one of the 2 double points races in the season... So 54 laps mate
