I thought you wouldn't mind an extra help, and I also needed accurate data to give everybody their correct points on the board.CFMA few other drivers such as JonnyDangerous, SADJO, and Racy Bacy were listed in the wrong division also. All is corrected now. Big thanks to Flat-Out for being kind enough to go over the entire list without even being asked, and notifying me of the corrections. Cheers to you, Cyril...
I updated the board now, and I'll get back to my Supra or I'll be again last in div 2 this week

I have just noticed that I "got promoted" to the 18th place in my Division.

Heres my replay, Xps file www.3rdgenracerX.net/WRS1.xps If you have a file converter you can watch the replay with either file transfer device. I should have spent more time "only put 2 hours into this race" and used more of the track in key places to gain a few extra tenths. But to do that I would have to make use of the 2 tires off rule, and that's something I just don't like to do anymore. I don't know why but I can't stand to lay 2 tires off the track anymore. Which is a good thing IMO, since it forces you to drive just like you would in real life. I had only 1 really really close moment on the next to last corner in T1 "the lefty before the right hand corner which leads to T1 split" I came within inches of knicking the grass while on the rumble strip.
I finished pretty much where I thought I would, I knew I had at least a top 5 run but knew it wasn't going to be the top time since I knew what I had to do to go even faster.
In T1 you had to put 2 tires off in the last 2 corners to really get the best time through there. The best T1 I did was a 36.81x, but I put 2 tires off on the last two corners. One the lefty you could get two tires off in the dirt on corner apex to cut the corner some and exit the corner a few mph faster than normally. The last corner you can use the gravel or sand on the side of the track to slow down more and get a much wider and better entrance into the right hander, the plus side is that you will get a couple extra more MPH out of the corner which helps you down the next straightaway and quickens your T2 time just a tad bit more. After T1 and all the way to the finish line,you pretty much had to stay on the track at all times. There isn't any place to make use of the 2 off rule after T1.

Us'en division 3 folks are in the kitchen doing dish duty! 
I haven't had time to even turn on GT4 since Sunday let alone turn a lap on this week's competition, but I'm aiming higher this week (my minimum goal is to beat my son's time - he's "I Don't Know", and he finished .067 faster than I did in week 1).

Thanks to all the drivers that submitted thier replays for verification so far. Hopefully Alpine will post up the last replay soon.Thanks too for JonnyDangerous for posting, even though now due to corrected results it wasn't needed. Hopefully next week's results will go smoother with all info going to me instead of part to Kent and such.

There are 3 females that I know of that race on a somewhat regular basis.
You, Lotus350 (she's been racing for a long time and can run with the D1 guys when she gets a combo she likes and puts in the effort.), and Sharkey. Sharkey is really fast too (raced with her at an i-link in LA), but she doesn't post much and mostly posts on another board.
On a side note, I'm moving to Portland soon. I already have a few friends there that play GT4, maybe we can all run some 2-player/LAN some time and I definitely see a group LAN race in the distant future after I get settled in there.
Bobkart is up in north (Seattle?) and he hosted i-links in the past. Might be able to carpool up there if he has any GT4 get togethers.

bro, did you read this before you posted it?? i only say this because surely you don't want everybody thinking you're completely full of yourself and idiotic. first of all there's the old "i only did 2 hours" proclaimation. come on bro, that's no excuse and nobody ever did or will think it's any anything but annoying. then you go right into your proudly stating that in effect, you are so awesomely badass that you created a whole new standard for yourself that is evolutionarily above everybody as another excuse for why you did not win the round. look man, if you want to keep all 4 on the road at all times, good for you, there's no need to tell us, that's not a rule. i'm saying this mostly because i don't think you realize how much of a pompous, conescending ass this post paints you as.

I spent about 2 hours and that was that, if you don't believe it thats ok. I don't want to sit and play for hours and hours and hours just to gouge out a few tenths, I got sick of doing that in GT3 and I sure as heck do not plan on repeating it in GT4.Max E.
I'm regretably sorry that you don't like my opinion on how I want to drive in GT4. I know I know its an atrocity that I don't want to fall back on completely driving unrealisticly in GT4, maybe that stems from all of the people who have always b!tched whined moaned and said meh your time is unimpressive since you put 2 tires off the track during a top lap time. Whats so completely wrong if someone want's to keep all 4 tires on the track and drive like they would in real life and they let their intentions be known on a message board? Whats the worse thing that could happen from me posting that?? Maybe other people would adopt that rule as well because they like that challenge of driving like they would have to in real life.
Surely when someone posts how they run a lap "speeds, how they got around the track, T times...ect" then its time to get the gestapo out, someone just posted their t times and mentioned they were perfect, its time to lynch em, burn the body and drag em through town because they are in someway or another boasting about themself by saying that they have accomplished something!!!! I hope you do the same when someone posts something like that. It would only be fair for you to jump on them too because they announced their intentions on how they would run the race on a message board, its afterall exactly the same as I posted on how I want to do all of my runs with those ever so hanious egotistic rules of mine.

No where in my post do I say i'm so god like superior to everyone else on the planet just because I managed to get close to the top times while keeping to my more strengent rule's. I even say I finished right where I thought I would, and yes I do say I could have gone faster if I would have done this and that because I did go faster when I did do those things. But because I want to drive more like I would in real life then I wouldn't allow myself to submit those times. If you see that as me being an absolute condensating godwannabe egotistic ass d!ck then i'm sorry to offend you with my opinion's on how I want to drive. No where did I tout, put down or make fun of any other driver in the WRS for doing anything that I didn't do.
Maybe your just reading between the lines too much. Noone else had a problem with me saying that I want to keep all 4 on the floor. Just you, hey if you still have some kind of beef with me take it to PM's.

just so you know, i can tell you that i am not the only one who felt this way. i'm just the only one who said something about it. and i don't think you realize how you're coming off, that's in part why i wanted to tell you. reading between the lines is a crucial skill that is necessary in this modern world of pretention. others have personally come to me and agreed with the sentiments i posted at you. how you feel and how you come off must be two different things because believe me, everybody read what you posted there and said "oh brother, is this guy in love with himself or what?". be humble. no need to tell us all you got your time in 5 minutes and no need to tell everybody you run with a different set of rules. don't make excuses for losing and don't whine about how you lost due to your lack of effort. especially when you layed down a time that is blisteringly fast under those circumstances. nobody wants to hear the moanings of the strong. race, submit your time, and compliment everybody on a race well run.

Thanks Lotus! I was beginning to feel somewhat the oddball around here. It may take me a little time to start putting in times anywhere close to yours, but one day it sure would be nice to race alongside you
