Whelp... Looking at the datalogger, my last time is no good... So, disregard my last T times, which were 29.7xx and 1'06.0xx or something like that... I'm too tired to put down a better time, so these are my actual splits for this week's race:

While everyone is on topic, I can't use manual on the DS2 in fast car either, it's just to annoying, I've only ever used it for the Superbird Challenge (Week...10 or 11). I find the back buttons just not in the natual position to use repeatingly, I much prefer to use L1 and R1, is I go manual...

You did know you can change the buttons to L1 and R1 for up and down shifts ? On;y thing is mine does not remember that after using the DFP again, but you can change the buttons to suit your needs ... you probably knew that sorry.

I'm off for a bit now, all I need to do is beat my ghost by 1 tenth of a second to get the time I want, so basically, I need to beat my ghost, the lead I get on it is irrelivent.

Well, I just submitted my lap which I was rather happy with seeing as how the RX-7 was down a bit of HP from the R390 and others. I was able to knock a full second off my overall lap time. My submitted splits are as follows:
T1 - 32.068 (lost some tenths there but gained it later)
T2 - 1'10.764
T3 - 1'4*

I used the DFP for that.

Ok did some laps yesterday night, wake up just now. Here are the T sectors. I could still be 0.2 faster so im not that happy with the time.

T1 - 0'29.207 - the same of my past sector time
T2 - 1'04.316

Well, I made myself happy by beating the time interval I had shot for. I know I probably could have dropped another .5-1 second off if I had another week, but seeing as this is my first week I'll see where I stand amongst the rest of you!!!

I beat my ghost but only by .012, oh well, a few hundreths can make a big difference as we've seen in previous races. A ghost beating is a ghost beating.

Well, I finally managed to obtain a time to be quite happy with

I first got into the 1'05.9xx @ T2, then I managed a couple of 1'05.4xx's 👍

I even broke a certain second barrier I couldn't even hope to break, at first.

And that's after well reaching my goal only to realize that the lap in question was a little dirty at the long left curve after T1, where I barely bumped the "invisible wall" on the right, just before the rumble strip.

The only way I managed to see that was because of a sudden drop of speed visible in the data logger

I knew I couldn't submit a lap like that, so I tried for a few more laps, managed another 1'05.4xx and then cut my previous lap time by 4 tenths.

Now I have a clean lap that's way faster than the previous dirty one, so I am quite satisfied.

Sorry for the lenght of the post, but I had to tell somebody

Here are my splits:

T1: 0'29.664
T2: 1'05.434

I even managed to obtain a couple of T1's into the 0'29.4xx but I couldn't finish the lap...

Otherwise, I am quite happy with my time...

I'm pretty confident that i'll get my best ever finish this week, it's the first time i've been in the div 3 top 10 on Luxy's board all the way through to the race deadline (I got provisional 6th). Now we all just have to endure the long wait before the results are posted up.

Veilsidebr, I looked at your Photo Gallery and you have taken some really nice photos. I have also taken a lot of photos, but i can't transfer them, don't have a working USB memory to do that (max usb memory not working with GT4 photos 👎 ). So, what USB memory do you use?

It takes a little getting used to but once you've adapted to it I think the extra fun factor kinda motivates you to drive better after a while. Cant wait to see the results!!!!
