My goodness there are some lightning fast splits out there...I love how competitive this comp is but I think I've been schooled this week. I'm submitting my lap with the splits I've already posted. Good luck all 👍

Thanks for all your work too Kent, it has been much appreciated in the short time I've been in the WRS

had a quick finale and took another 3 tenths off my time.

T1: 18.548
T2: 36.090
T3: 54.629

And well done to Kent for a fine Race, very fun, race cars are definatly my strong point, (;) cfm) hope you will still drop by!

I find this combo really stressful. I know im over a second slower than GTFAN2005. Could this be my first non top 20 finish? *time submitted*

oh, well, what a cr**, last night i had all ready to make a last effort to get to the second barrier that i wanted, but...

I SLEPT AT 9:30 PM!!! 👎 :yuck: i was very tired of work and stuff 👎

that stinks because i knew i had to gain some time... today i wake up to read the forum just to find out that i probably lost posotions to veil, puck, Z and minorshunt, all in one night... dammit!

well, 7th or 8th overall will be ok... just wish i had more time, but there´s always next week...

Just got into the 52's. Hit the corkscrew really well, but lost a good 0.2 in the last two corners :ouch: . Submitting these (in the GT):

T1 - 18.092 (saw 17.942) 👎
T2 - 35.044 (saw 34.775) 👎
T3 - 52.988 👍

Was kinda satisfied that I got to the 52's, but was really disappointed since I left a good 0.5 out there that I knew I could get 👎 . Saw countless 17.9's at T1/34.8's at T2, just couldn't get consistent and ran out of time :yuck: . Didn't get to that "barrier" either, missed it by about....;) . Good luck to everyone still going out there!

OK I surrender. I submitted an absolutely terrible time. Doubt I'm even Top 10 in D2. My t-times were awesome but I blew it in the last two corners, and did so consistently, every darn lap.

You and the rest of the guys here amazed me this week and put me in my place. :guilty:

I hoped that I would be fast enough to compete for a win, and that I wouldn't get so frustrated that I'd hate the cars and hate the track. It may be too late for that now. I need a good long break from Laguna. But what next? Hmmm...I think some Circuit de la Sarthe would be good right about now. 👍

Unchicaned.

👍

I had crap splits, so i didnt post them.

Im hoping for bottom of my division this week. :irked:

I think this coming week we need a little less adrenaline, if you know what I mean 💡
Don't get me wrong, this week was a blast - great fun and really enjoyable.

But after a certain point it got too much break it or make it - on every single corner.
Laguna is unforgiving, even more with a fast, high torque car.

We need to go back to the good ol' 200-250 HP max cars...
...and on a track where you can actually see the apexes - too many blind, late apex corners in Laguna (or should I say all of them?) :D

Just my thoughts...

The Wizard.

Well, I met my goal that I set on Wed this week. However, now I know I left at least .2 on the track. Time submitted:

T1: 18.117
T2: 35.004
T3: 53.245

Time Submited.

I lost so much time from T2 - The End....

T1 - 18.251 (Saw a few 18.0s)
T2 - 35.601
T3 - 54.494

Have not even bothered to submit this week!

Can't compete, only improved by .5 (at T3) over the whole week, altho i have knocked 2 secs off final time!

P.O'd to say the least!

@Kent

Tho we had our differences this week, i have generally enjoyed your combo's(even this weeks, tho i sucked at it and have refused to submit a time that i am totally ashamed of)

Good luck at school, and i will look forward to you racing!

I feel the same way this week, not submitting a time as I just did not have enough time to put together a decent lap, 2nd week I'm missing with the GT4 WRS, so not too bad ...

Ya cheers Kent, have a good one ! I'm sure you would rather be racing here than doing the school thing, but such is life, good luck !

Oh COME ON GUYS! Lol, we just talked about this last week... Not submitting a time only hurts yourself... Just go back and look at the end of the week 18 thread where we talked about it. Oh well. I submitted a crap time last week, I don't care. Other peope gave in and did it, oh well. I'm kind of disappointed in you guys! Don't matter... Good job trying I guess!

i submitted on week 16

when i was a full 2 seconds behind

i had no setup, and an hour on track

got last place for div.1~

nothing should stop you from posting a time, unless you dont have a computer or internet

****ty times shouldnt stop you

Well done to both Z and Minorshunt 👍 . You guys got to where I couldn't :( . Knew I should have ran all night. Looking forward to seeing you guys got down to.

Thanks Puck 👍 , and don't take this the wrong way, but I am totally disappointed in my performance. I ran 2-1/2 hours last night and was consistently ahead of my posted T2 split by .3-.4 but then I also consistently screwed up the corkscrew(pun intended) and final sector. So my final tme posting while it may look fairly good, was a great disappointment. Mainly because again, I pooched the final sector! YOU HAVE A SHOT! 👍 And also kudos for driving what I considered to be the more difficult to handle GT. I respect you for sticking with it throughout the week, and maintaining your contention that it was the faster car! It looks like you will be proven correct. :)

Uhm, if you guys were paying attention, Kent said previously that he will get them up in the afternoon when he will actually HAVE TIME to post them.

My sentiments exactly. I was doing so great the entire week and kept continually improving, until last night. I kept seeing T2's of 34.7, and actually saw a few T3's of 52, but when it came to the final sector I always last at least .2 of what it could've been. I know I left at least .3, if not more, on the track, and am actually disappointed w/ my final time.

And a well done to you, also. 52's are no easy task in my book and, as MS said, I must give you respect for stickin' it out with the GT. Maybe I'm just an FR guy all the way, but I just couldn't consistently fling that car around the track faster than I could the Viper.. just hope it doesn't bite me in the arse in the results. ;)

Good luck, everyone.

@MS and Z: Well I might have a shot, but it's gonna be small I think. Although I appreciate the props, I think it's you guys who should be getting it. Just as you see it hard to drive the GT, I thought it was harder to drive the Viper fast, so congrats to you for putting down great laps in a car I found easy to be consistent in, but hard to be fast. And believe me MS, I know the feeling, like I said before, I hit T2's 0.3 below my posted as well, but I guess I didn't have the luck this week! Now, Let's See Those Results!! (j/k Kent, take your time ;) )

WOW!! Did not think my time would come close to standing up, but it did. On top of luxy's board for div2.
Guess the good run i had in the JGTC on that track helped more than i tought :dopey:
Hope the final time is as good :scared:

To be honest, my heart wasn't in it last week, what with what went on. So i didn't put in as much time as i should have, and gave up trying.
:indiff:
Couldn't improve my times at all after the first couple of days, so didn't submit a time. With the 6/8 rule it won't hurt me too badly, especially cos i like this weeks combo(must be the tight, twisty and technical tracks i like. I did well at cote and not bad at amalfi, so maybe)

Nevermind,
