Congradulations to everyone! I thought I was going to see a sub 1'10 time.

What was the deal with everybody using the Viper for?! I thought it was generally desided that the Ford was much faster! Anyway, It's good to see 'OnlyMe' was the OnlyOne' who choose the C5R, and I have given myself the power to title him the 'Fastest C5R racer for week 19 of WRS'

I also liked the way Lewie beat D3 by 1.5 seconds. I could see where I could maybe pick up another .5 to .8...but 1.5!

@MinorShunt: Ever so close to that barrier we were after! Ouch. Had I not run the lap I did, you'd have bested me by about .13, with me barely edging out fasj by about .02. Glad I put the time in at the end. Had a great time running side-by-side with all of you this week as always and look forward to future weeks of close racing.

As for Lewie's time, i look forward to seeing the replay, as i understand you now have a maxdrive, and that time beat mine, although i didnt give the race my undivided attention, its still a very fast time, and i will finally be able to eat my words when you provide the footage, and prove that you should be in division 1 and beating me regularly.

I put in an extra effort this week as i didnt want Hot6o4boi to claim a hatrick of wins , it was close competition this week, a fine week it was at laguna, the track had great atmosphere, u really felt like u were racing on the real life circuit!

Ok, not to jack Casio over or anything, but in the true spirit of WRS racing...

Alright, I've been thinking about a few things, and have decided to move Circa86 and Casio to D2 effective immediately to give the other drivers in D3 a better chance at winning. However...if either of your times are queried in D2 you will have to provide verification via replay device in order to continue.<snip> </snip>

It will only move me one spot up - but will affect series points for all affected, et. all. He's currently listed as a Div 3 driver...(looks like Circa86 didn't post this week, but if he had...) That quote is from:

SHE? We've actually got a female racing with us?

I was at the Indycar this past weekend at PPIR and hoping Danica would win. I gotta tell you there's some odd feeling about *knowing* there's a female out there kicking the snot of out the males. Not that I'm a chauvanistic pig or anything (quite the opposite in fact) but as a man, I know it's gotta stick in their craws a bit to have a woman beating them....(open flame session now, in another thread though ok? )

I don't doubt that in the slightest. In fact, from what I understand from NHRA results, women tend to have the faster reaction times (John Force being a major exception here).

It's just tended to be a male dominated sport so I'm sure they're a little tweaked is all. But we're off topic now dude - we can continue this in chat eh?

Congratulations to the podium finishers, expecially to those who managed a sub 1'11.000 time, which was ultimately my goal.

As for this race feeling like a real race, as holl01 mentioned, those are my thoughts exactly. Laguna Seca, for some reason, has always fascinated me a good bit, both in real life and in the GT series.

I did better than I thought I would do, but I am not 100% satisfied with my run, as I know I left plenty of time on the track.

Replay provided - can't wait to see those sub 1'11's and Lewie's run 👍

yes, this week was very tough, laguna is unforgiving... i had a blast trying to make the chevys match the other two, and then, later in the weekend, deciding if i go with the viper or the GT...

shame for me to fall a sleep in the last night... should at least tried to get to the 1´10´s... then, yesterday i find out that i was shifting wrong in the corckscrew, but hey, enough of excuses, great racing in div1, very tough to get a podium... during the course of the week i saw puck, Z, minorshunt, androos, KLR142, lewie and the wizard trying to get to that 1´10... (and myself of course) congrats to all who tried...

this was one of those races that you had to put a lot of time into... its not like, have 10 laps and already make 1´11... that was very competitive...

5th overall was good for me, and i know i don´t have to, but i´ll post a replay later on the weekend when i get my hands on my AR Max, just because i feel like i need to post a replay, after so many delays...

congrats to the winners, and now lets move on to the clio! 👍

yeah, thanks... that´s why i didn´t understand your PM that said that i had Div2 rapped up...
i was promoted last week, but still pending verification, i´m still waiting to post the replay. (now replays, since its week 18 and 19)

guess i had a good T3-finish... that lap of 1´11´177 was with the t3 of 53´0 and a t2 of 34´950, so basically i lost 0´5 to holl up until t2...

less 0´5 would give me the win so, it was a good second part of the lap really...

I'm at work right now, but don't worry guys I'm going to post my replay tonight. As you all will see, it is not the best lap (I actually had two wheels in the dirt at T1) but it is legit and fast!!! Now if I can only find some time for this week's race, I need to back up last week w/ another good performance!!!

And like others, if I could string it all together(literally impossible for me to actually do though) I could've seen another half a second, but that wouldn't have put me past the 1'11 barrier, but looking at the results that's totally ok.

Nice racing Wizard, Watson, Weary, and VTR! Very close up there. Looking forward to future upper D2 battles I am... 👍

And Kent, thanks for your services, and I'll be looking forward to swapping paint with you here and there, you're in D2 right?

Also of note, I was in the Viper, and I'm pretty sure Puck was in the GT...

It's amazing that we're all that closely matched in this car....that's interesting.
