 Yeah, this thing is so fast, it's a challenge to get your 'hand to eye' coordination to keep up....let alone get some consistency.

I'm running a quick clean lap every now and then, but it's almost impossible to think of stringing two clean fast laps together in the race.

Morning Practice: T1 = 28.789....T2 = 1:02.919

I'm going to have family over tonight so I'm under pressure to get some kind of acceptable race time in.....:banghead:

Afternoon Practice: a couple T1's =28.6's ....T2's 1:02.8's....not much of savable value in the bunch, but speed is picking up.

Race: Put together 2 clean laps for a potential race save.....unless I can better it later....that will be it for the Gt3Emperor Racing Team. :)

New save:
35.530
69.497

28.966
62.662 submitted

It's .184sec. short of that dirty time I've been chasing.
Catching it is harder than it looks.
Too many places to rub the car and botch the race.

I may continue with this, but I'm liking the beach more and more.
It's been something like 75-80°F., here in Ca.
Sun, sand and cocktails.

Good luck. 👍

Phew. Rough week. Spent the week racing Tokyo with the wrong Spoon (Type R) because I didn't took enough time to read the thread carefully. Spent this weekend in Antwerp, Belgium. Got back today, did the amateur dream car championship and the "Press X for the car" trick. I have done a few laps without setup tinkering, and have a clean time to submit, but I bet DQan can beat it:

T1 : 39.372
T2 : 1'18.114

T1 : 32.854
T2 : 1'10.480

Maybe I'll have time to get used to the track and do some setup stuff tommorow.

I just noticed the deadline is Tuesday.....good, I've being banging my head against the wall trying to get a clean set with the faster sectors in it.

Yeah, right....we all know that ain't never goin' to happen! :boggled:

If I went with what I've got now, I'm sure I'd be at least 2 seconds off what DePlace is probably running.

I don't know how many times, if I get to T1 in 35.6...something goes wrong somewhere before I get to T2. If I get through Lap one clean....something bungles in Lap 2. I can't count how many trys I've blown.... :banghead:

Maybe, I'll regroup for Monday....but DePlace seems to be safe by 2 seconds from any threat from me, as it stands now.:embarrassed: :D

I'm glad everyone else seems to have a magnetic S2000 too. I'm pleased it's not just mine. :D

Time submitted. Not going to be able to run it tomorrow.

I left 1.5 secs in it compared to my best outlap and best flying lap, but it'll have to do.

It's been a BUSY weekend!!!!!!! FInally got to sit down tonight and do some races. I realistically have another .5'ish I can take off my final time with slightly better sectors I run often but never twice in the same lap, PB sectors would chop a full second off my time....I hope to find some time to play tomorrow night.

T1 36.869 / 1'12.058
T2 30.333 / 1'04.916

I finally beat my best lap in the race, prior to that I was setting my fastest lap times in free run mode, it wasn't on the above sectors though....

I'm sorry I've had no time to run this week, most I have managed is about 10 laps free run, very early in the week. So you can all breathe a sigh of relief as I won't be winning :D

Maybe when ARC is over I'll be able to do more weekly's

Im actually in the same boat.
(except the arc thing)

But this week, I was only able to do free run at the begining of the week. A 1'03.3 was the highlight of those sessions and when I did get the chance to run a few arcade runs, I only pulled it down to dirty 1'04's.

Definately a tough race, and being that I've stressed out all week over a variety of exams... this week just wasn't a racing week for me.

Luckily my last exam is tonight, so this next week should be a fun one, and in honor of what a screwed up choice this week was, I will be doing next week's race with the racer in mind... not the car. ;)

Talk to you all tonight when I post the next race and this one's results.
till then,
Later. :D

Well I've finally had time to sit down and do some runs. No clean runs yet unfortunately. :( The 2nd and 4th turns are giving me some trouble in this car but hopefully after a few more runs I'll get a clean run.

Hey Viper,i also found it very tricky to get clean runs in this car,
especially 2 in a row.

Found turn 4 to b trickiest and set the car up to be as consistant as possible through here.

Time submitted=

LAP1
T1 37.193
T2 1:12.235

LAP2
T1 30.368
T2 1.05.895

well done to all those posting 1.03's for T2,i couldnt quite get there...

Hey guys, I just got a quick break and even though it might be a bad idea in terms of results... I'm thinking I will put down a quick lap to get something clean. All though it may be a div 3 front runner, I still think I should put something in. Back soon, but not with anything like 1'03... try 1'05. :D

I just finished the 1 hour of tokyo enduro. ;)

Pulled in a div 2 worthy time that was clean. So even though it's not exactly a time I am excited about, I still have something to turn in... :D

Somebody has gotta bring up the rear for every division, I guess that's me this week.
Catch you guys in the results and week 57 threads about 11 hours from now.
Later. :D

Found some extra time to play around with my new Spoon. Nice car, well balanced, fast, nice sound, easy on the DS2.

Too bad I didn't have more time for this car which fits this circuit like a glove. Nice choice Kent!

(submitted)

Took me ages to get the first 5 corners clean and fast (the pinball effect). Hope I did a division 3 worthy time.

Curse GTAVC...! Building that portion of my site is taking longer than I'd hoped. I'm not going to submit a time this week, but I hope to see you all next week. I suspect I'd have enjoyed this one, as my early testing was yielding 1'04s. Bugger.

A good race for me this week, got lots of laps in. I think my T3s were 1.11.7 and 1.04.9.
I'm sure I could get another half second, but who couldn't if given the time?

No actually viper... you had exactly 50 minutes left when you posted... and there is still about 25minutes left right now.

The deadline is midnight tonight, on this day of the week every week. (It is monday night, but it is actually tuesday morning once 12:00am hits.)

All times must be in before 12am tuesday morning my time. (CST.)

That is the same as 6am london time of tuesday morning.

Good luck next week, results shortly... now only 23 minutes. :mischievous:

Get to it, time is ticking down. :D

Damnit, couldnt get a better time than I did a couple hours ago. I really wish I coulda done more runs. Oh well.

Well, I knew that, and tried to get another run in too, but a few too many Stout's took the edge off. Took about 0.65 off my previous best, though the T2 were a little slower:

1:12.729 1:05.922

Time submitted. Good Luck all.

Hmmm. Sure looks like one, with an extra spoiler attached. Besides, the "S2000" looks suspicious, too :odd:

The only difference is that the S2000LM is nicely balanced, opposed to the crud blue-and-yellow spoon I was racing midweek.

Sure it's not supposed to even look like a spoon? :mischievous:

(Didn't finish last, phew.)
