I think I can get into the 57s, but I'm not good with this car (it handles bumps badly). I was in the 57s once, but I can't recall how legal the run was. Only tried it for approx. an hour.

What are the "ethics" for sharing setups, because I think I have have a good setup that handles the bumps well that I wouldnt mind sharing?

Oh well,

Here goes: Front/Rear

Spring rate : 4.8/4.3
Ride height : 76/76
Damper: ----/----
Bound: 4/4
Rebound: 6/6
Camber: 2.0/1.0
Toe: 0.5/0.0
Stabiliser: 4/4

Brakes: 18/18

LSD Initial: 0/10
LSD Acceleration: 0/5
LSD Decrease: 0/10

Gear Ratio: Standard 1st to 6th
Final 4.200
Auto Level 23

ASM: Level 10
TCS: Level 0

Tyres: T8/T8

Enjoy.

Surprised myself a little and actually managed a clean, though slow, lap:

19.452 60.030

Having a hard time picking up the brake point for that first hard left after the chicane, because of the shadows and visual clutter. Maybe better video would help.

I hardly ever use any ASM, but I'm tempted to make an exception for this car!
Thanks for sharing the settings Hotrod_269. I'll give 'em a try.

im looking forward to doing this race, i just finished with the elise championship yesterday! ill go give it a run soon and come back with some sector times soon

aaaarrrgh!!!! rumble strips are the ENERMY!!
ive only mamaged a 20.xx / 101.xx so far but i think my settings arent helping me, ive got my spring rate set way to high.
im determined to getdown to 18xx and 59xx or better

Hi, This is my first post :)

My best so far is 18.4 and 58.5. Just need to fine tune the setup a little bit and then try to knock 1/2 a second or so off those times. I definately like racing against people who beat me (finally I found them) lol.

Hi Hotrod, welcome to GTP!

I'll try to get some runs in late tonight and see what I come up with:cool:

So for the past 3 weeks my hands, palms mainly, especially my right hand have been KILLING me. I realized over the weekend that it was the paddle shifts on my wheel. Everytime I would shift it would send a shot of pain up my arm, especially on my right hand/arm. I think how tense my arms/hands get while driving, especially on hot laps just added up over the weeks...can you say Carpal Tunnel Syndrome...

So I say thank god for the stick shift option on the GT Force Pro wheel. No fancy paddle shifts for me this week. Just good old fashion stick shifting. I noticed the little I played last night it definately felt better and my hands don't hurt as much today.....shifting with the stick is harder for me, not used to taking my hand off the wheel but I'll get used it it. if anything maybe it is for the good since I don't shift as much and probably stay in higher gears more, less ramming the rev limiter....

:-)

I finally has some time to put in a few laps and i found out that i really don't like this track.Well anyway her are my T times:

T1=18.752
T2=58.407

I think i can go a bit quicker, this lap just didn't feel like i fast lap.

btw, I will be back with some t times shortly... finally gonna get a run in after being in the woods for a few days. :D

Did you avoid getting skin rashes like I'd told you?

spent 30 mins tweaking the set up today and managed to pull off....
T1 = 18.9
T2 = 58.8

i feel like there's at least .5 in T1 for me, as i keep taking the quick left right at the start wrong.. :irked:
i wanna get T2 down into the 57's but not sure if i can pull that off..

ive got my t1 down to a low 18.xx but im still draggin my feet with a t2 of 1.00.xx arrgghh.
i know where im going wrong tho so ill just have to work harder!
when i started in this series i thought one race per week was to few but now im quite thankful ive got time to work on this race :)

hey this is my first post,
After 45 min off playing,i managed:
T1: 18.6 sec , i can't go much quicker there maybe 1 tenth
T2:58.0 i think i drive this one verry wel!
:D
I want to get in the 57sec in t2 but its going te be difficult:banghead:

Well, I'm quite happy to see that my times are competitive already and the set-up is working as well as it can do really.

I think it's going to be one of those weeks where we'll all be saying "could have had another 0.5 but couldn't keep it clean"

I'm waiting to see what the big boys come in with here, but it's looking pretty competitive at the moment.

Thing is that this week the two 'T' times don't tell the whole story as there's three vital corners after you cross it, so the final standings will be anyone's guess. (also I think T1 is possibly in the breaking zone depending on the line you take)

Make sure you register for the Weekly Races first - don't want to see the effort going to waste!

As you have all seen by now, ScuderiaFerrari is now running with us.

Seems he was running with us before he registered since I just now got him in, but I guess thats ok.

Anyway, welcome him as the newest div 1 racer.

Blasting in with a 57.2 is a good way to get noticed, maybe we will all get to learn something at the end of the race. :mischievous:
That's up to you though newbie.
Blazing fast though buddy, blazing fast.

Of course, I guess I should mention now, I ran about 3 laps yesterday, got a 58.1 quickly, so I know the time will get into 57's.

Anyway, catch you all later. :D

Hahaha, that's my bro up there. How did he get in Division 1.He never stands a chance against me.

After a few laps i managed to get it down to:
T1: '18.865
T2: '58.389

Not horrible, but i know i can do better. It's hard getting used to GT3 after playing nothin but SOCOMII for a month.

big bro,
i saved it on memorycard so just check it if you don't believe:D
ok i admit you beat me in the past, but now you don't stand a chance against me:lol: Practice more!!:D

Well gt3champ, it looks like your "title" is on the line since your brother seems to not only be dogging you, but just about everyone in this forum at the moment.

Maybe next year there will be a new champ, or maybe next week you will be running div 1?
:mischievous:

Let's just finish this week first. ;)

"......nothin like a little sibbling rivalry....":D

I'm not very good at Seattle II.....I'm OK going the other way.

The Motor Sports Lotus isn't my cup of tea either....but, If my back doesn't protest to much, I'll see if I can get a few trial runs in it.

Well after reading that I actually started to play around with that, as I don't think I've ever touched it before. Lowering the ASM actually felt like it freed the car up more = faster laps for me :).

Well not much improvement on my T times for my best lap but I'm really close to pulling together a fast lap.

Thanks for the welcome CarbonFiber Man :) .

Aah,the things i have to endure.Oh right, now he can confirm if i am what i claim to be.He was there when i won it.
But anyway, seeing as he claims to be faster than me,i will have to prove him wrong.I can't wait for that X-port to arrive so i can prove it.

i finaly got into the 18's for t1 but i am choking it in t2 with 100 i dont know if i am taking corners wrong or i am not ready to be as competitive as i thought i should be
