Best clean so far is a 11.98 / 45.05 , but my T1 sucked on that one really bad...

...best dirtys are 11.6 / 44.6. Now it's all about getting this understeering bastage to run a decent total lap:banghead:

45.0

Don't know if I will get to turn anything in though. Things have been a bit more difficult lately since I can't sign on with my personal computer. I checked the gtp from a public library today. 👍

Anyway, glad to see all of you are enjoying the race. Should have known it with an arcade race.

I will be back again, late night stuff mostly.
Btw, to answer some of the things I have noticed being asked and what not... :D

If you do not have the 787, get it!
It is the fastest in this scenerio. I only left all of the other cars as options for those who didn't want to run the 787 (can't imagine that with this competitive bunch).

Have fun, catch you guys soon hopefully.
Later.:D

T1 - 11.5
T2 - 45.4

After the T2 it all goes down hill for me..... i get a bit excited and loose it big time, lol.

5 more laps yesterday and I did a consistant 11.8 / 46.0. The problem is to get the lap both clean and fast.

This is going to be an extremely fun week! The combo is just amazingly fast.
After 1 (one) lap got a T2 of 45.5
Tried the GT-One TS020 but it was alot slower than the Mazda. Haven´t tried the R390 yet, but I don´t think that it´ll be dramatically faster.
Kent, this truly is an amazing combo.
So see you on the track.

Once again, I'm glad you all like the race...

But honestly, I knew what I was doing when I posted this race.

Just go back in the weeks.
What is the most popular race to occur recently?
The arcade razo silvia at trial mtn.

Arcade cars are a sure fire way to get dozens of racers that want nothing to do with this series until they get just the right race... so guess what, I will appease them more often.

I like popular races, even if I don't like the races themselves.

What can I say, I like to tune cars.

But I am glad you all have liked this race so far, and I hope to see a good turn out from you guys.

Till late tonight,
bye. :D

45.9 on the first lap with.... the BEAST. But it was nowhere near as much fun as the 50.0 in the Speed 12.

Dunno if it's already been said (never noticed it )

Happy Birthday CFM! have a good 'un :)

As it appears to be your B-DAY CFM, then I would also like to say happy birthday dude! Hope you have a good one :)

Happy Birthday, CFM!!!

Too bad my PS2 is still broken and in the shop for repairs, otherwise i would have run this one.

But it is good news that Kent is considering more arcade races;)

Hey all,

Happy Birthday!
(to guess who? )

I am back for a final time today/tonight and in a much better mood than earlier. :D

Started running more laps with this combo. Keeping pace seems to be hard, but I believe this week will see a winner in the ... hmm... ( )
Maybe 44.0 t2 range.

My best clean is still undetermined and my best dirty is below 45.0 now. I can see a 11.5 going into 44.5 if the rumblies get along with you.

Good luck all and for the guys having trouble, remember, the rumble strips in those long turns really can work wonders. :mischievous:

I can't wait to see what the final times are this week. 👍

Does any one think they can set a combo record?
I haven't looked yet, but it sure would be cool. :yeahright:
:D

Until tomorrow sometime, good bye!

Hey, I just went and checked out the records base cited on page one of this thread.
Hm...
Interesting, but I don't know if 44.0 is possible for me right now. :D

Cya all later.

Happy B-day to CFM :)

On news on me, I don't like this track..but I'm giving my best..anyways I'm around the mid 45's, but geeze, to get precisely those rumble strips from T1 up to T2 are a pain in the A...:irked:

Thanks for all the birthday wishes everyone:)

I turned 29, so one more good year then it's all downhill:P

30 huh?

That's not too bad at all.
Sure, this is coming from a strapping, young, 23yo buck, but hey. ;)

No for real, one of my best mtn biking partners was about 38, so don't give up yet. :D

As for the race...
I got in more laps. (gee, you know, not having access to the net during the day seems to help me get more time for gt)

...anyway, about the race.
Running consistantly under 45.0 but nothing clean still.
Fastest observed at t1 is 11.5
Fastest observed at t2 is 44.6

Hopefully I will pull a clean lap out sometime soon. (even if it is in the 45.2 range I will be happy to have something clean.)

Also, just thought I would give you all an idea of what I did today.

I got out all my old ps1 games and cleaned them, then played a few.

Tried to run a lap in gt2 but the game froze. (btw, damn that cermo one supra was awesome... gt2 had the best cars)

Played a life on final fantasy 7.
That didn't go too well since I suck at rpgs!

Finally, got some time in one tekken 3.
What a bad ass indepth fighter that was for it's time. 👍
Still love it today. :D

Never got to it, but einhander was right there... that one is for tomorrow. :mischievous:

Anyway, I will be heading off to the bar now, but I will catch you all tomorrow.

Let me know how the racing is going fellas.
(that means you pros too. )

Also, let me know what you all think about something for next week.

Later. :D

i cant seem to pull a good lap together, i seem eternaly stuck at t2 0.47.xx, with note much hope of getting any better.
i will still enter my time, but i want be expecting much, givin the good compitition the div 3 guys are giving me.

hey 'kents, how bout a FF car?, im not the biggest fan of them, but its something different.
maybe the celica trd , spoon civic, or the integra?

The best so far I've done is about 46.xxx and thats with the R390, GT-One, and 787B. My fastest lap right now is in the GT-One. :D

I've ran a few more laps, the same T2, but I shaved off almost a second from my previous best. I have to say, this is fun again. Maybe I'll visit the OLRs some more.

If we do FF cars, can we do the Acura RSX on Seattle and can I submit my previous run? :)

I ran a few laps yesterday, but all my T2 were in the 47.x. Since I was running 46.0 two days ago I stopped my WRS session to practise for Torc's 3rd race.

I'd like some FF for next week, but they are usually understeering, and this week's 787B has the same behavior (at least when I'm driving it), perhaps some people will complain about it.
I have 2 propositions :
1) hot lap in a stock Mini on Super Speedway (that should give very close times since the key is only not to lose speed once you reach 80 mph)
2) hot lap in a stock Subaru Legacy Blitzen on Apricot Hill. The car is heavy but the 4WD should be a help through the winding section.

P.S. : I thought the suggestion box was made for this, but since Kent asks for it :D :D :D

My best save now has a 44.8 T2.

I've seen some 11.4 // 44.5 laps that I wasted however. And I ran a blazing lap that started off with a pathetic 12.1 due to a wall tap, but T2'ed at 45.0 then I obliterated the end section for a great total. That lap is .250 better than my current, so I know there's about .600 more if I can just figure out how to do it agian, with a T1 of 11.5ish, and without a wall tap:irked: Don't know if I'm going to play any more before the deadline, so we'll have to see what happens:odd:

I had to work a 12 hour shift on my birthday, same as the last 4 years:(

Being a grownup sucks:lol:

I also worked a lot on some of my birthdays, but it's not the worst : I was working 800 miles away from home the day of my girl's first birthday. She was so young she didn't care of course, but that was hard for me to not be with her to give her the presents, blow the candles...

working on your birthday sucks dude's!
been there , done that (i used to work with my father, so he told my boss my birthday, no chance of havin the day off!!) cept i came to work with a big time hangover and did stuff all lol.

anyway, if we do a FF it has to be tunable!! tunibg is the key to FF's. my vote go's to the celica TRD, its a pretty good car for a ff once you tune it.

im still stuck on .47.xx, no improvemt likely, which is a pity, cos i love this track

Alright guys, I'm back online!

As for suggestions...
I did ask for it, but I would like to see you all go into the suggestions thread and submit any further ideas you all have. :D
TRD celica is a favorite of mine btw.
Maybe a ff challenge?
 let me know in that other thread. ;)

As for my racing, I haven't been making any progress towards getting a clean lap.
I don't bother finishing slow laps and I always mess up the fast ones, so who knows where I will be come monday night.

Anyway, catch you guys later. :D
and boone, don't worry about the double post... that is, besides the language that was obviously censored.
