Sounds interesting -- I might give it a whirl later.

Edit: My time is submitted -- T1 - 0'24.420; T2 - 1'06.451

Not great compared to others but it will do.

Going on vacation for a week tomorrow so I'm submitting my time now. Good luck everyone. Good time to run another Rally race Kent.;)

Ah, would've practiced this one had I ventured here earlier this week. :guilty:

Oh, well. I can always catch the next race. 👍

I think its the combination that I couldnt get to grips with. I mean I really like monaco, ( I think we ran there in the 787B a while ago ) and on another course I would probably be a little more in favour of the Vertigo, so until then.

Got a clean lap at

24.792
1'07.697

When I played yesterday Í scratched my GT3 disk, because I was sloppy placing it in the tray. :banghead: 🤬

The game loads OK and let me play alright. I've just cut off half a second overall, but I can't exit the free run and save my lap. :banghead: 🤬

Hopefully, next time the car is used, it won't be on a tight track. Understeer :grumpy:

I decided to save my thumbs for other games(Driv3r).

Don't use tcs!
:D

It's the only way I can get around the understeer. :irked:

Darin!
Duh, last week. :dunce:

As for my progress on this one... :banghead:

Still can't match my best dirty laps.
Still can't match my best clean laps.

On top of the general difficulty of this race, I got an extra push from my real life in the form of a new noise coming from my toyota camry.
Not sure what it is yet, but it may have to do with all the water I had to drive through the other day.

So with that frustration on me, I had no chance of getting in a good lap yesterday.
Hopefully today or tomorrow will be a little different.
Like, maybe I could get a good lap in? 💡

Anyway, catch you guys a little later.

btw, did I mention to anyone that I saw an aston martin db7 vantage in my town yesterday. :dopey:
First time I've ever seen one in real life and man that thing was bad ass! 👍
Looked like a mix of a z06 and a xkr.
Too bad the game does almost no justice for that beautiful piece of machinery.

I still haven't gotten a clean lap.
T2's are usually around 1:05 now, but I haven't yet figured out how to uninstall the wall-magnets.

I didn't turn on TCS; I knew I would probably need it for the tight section after t1. It seems like the car is missing some front downforce.

So are you running with, or without tcs?

If you knew you would need it, then I assume you are using it.
But if you didn't turn it on, then I assume it is off.

:dunce:

I'm about to run some, just gotta take care of one little issue, then it's off to the races.

So until my session is over,
later. :D

I'm not officially registered yet, but I shall do so this afternoon once I get back from my dentist appointment. Blake told me about the current race and I took the liberty of running some laps just to see how I stack up. My best T1 and best T2 were on different laps as generally happens, but only by hundredths.

T1: 24.412
T2: 1'06.419

I would just like to say that after having spent a few weeks mindlessly running laps at GVS in an F1 car, I was pleasantly surprised with the Vertigo, it felt quite responsive and fun to drive, and there's always something to be said for having to maintain momentum as much as possible rather than rely on power to weight to compensate for any slight errors.

Monaco is kicking my ass. I have not improved my time since Friday, and the car isn't that great to drive either. Every time I seem to be on a fast lap, I manage to strike a wall somewhere.

This is a VERY difficult track, and this race has given me so much more appreciation for anyone who races there in real life, but especially the F1 drivers. How they can manage to keep their monstrously fast and powerful cars off the walls for 78 laps is just beyond me.

^^^Yeah, not to mention that the track is even narrower and there are 20 drivers :scared: on the field.

Eagle...
(diamond member ;) )
Hit me with your qualifying time before you turn in a final time... ;)
Hope to see your name in the results. :D

Evo...
Awesome avatar! (never had the chance to mention that) (my favorite plane. 👍 )

Anyway, keep up the good work everyone.
Back in the morning with any progress. :D
Till then,
Later.

Well.....changed my mind.

Wound up spending 42 laps around this thing and came up with a nice lap.

After running all those laps, my hands were sore and I had a little headache from me getting tensed-up trying to keep the car off the walls and the armco.

But, in the end, it was worth it. 👍

Bought a new GT3 and shoved all the kids away from the PS2. New clean lap:

24.339
1'06.442

From my some of my other replays I can see, I lose 0.4 in the first sector and 0.2 in the last. Don't know if I can get them, but I'm sure gonna give one more try tonight. :D

It's going to be desparately close this week, I think.

24.122
1'05.909.

Astonishingly, my logger says that I can take .800 off of my lap, but I don't think there's any chance of actually getting it. I thought that the 1'06.324 I was stuck on for a few days was as fast as I'd go...

Edit: Time submitted.
24.025
1'05.876.

Ragged edge stuff, but clean. There's so much more time there, but not enough time till the deadline, and it takes so many tries to get a clean lap faster than the ghost. Hopefully looking forward to something with a little more width next week. :)

Time submitted. No improvements, but lots of frustrations. :grumpy:

See you next week.

ROAD_DOGG33J
I submitted my time, which was run on Friday?

T2 of 1'05.1xx I believe
Same here, I have not improved my time since Friday, and I'm not planning to run another set of laps tonight (I'm watching the Canadian elections going on here, hoping the Liberals don't return to power...)

Times about to be submitted...

FANTASTIC Combo Kent!!!
:D My only regret is that I wasn't able to run many Laps this week. :(
(Almost All my GT3 time has been spent "Fine-Tuning" a "New" 10-Lapper)
Anyway, found a "Little" lost time laying around CdA. Had to run w/TCS "On" as my aged & decrepit reflexes just couldn't handle having it "Off"

T-1 = 23.707
T-2 = 1'04.684

Not enough to scare the really "Fast Guys" but plenty of phun nonetheless.
See Y'All next week...UB57 :D

Nice one GK !

For the few laps that I've been able to do on this one. it's been great 👍

My time however is rotten... I've seen T1's of 0:24.0's and T2's in the region of 1:05.9's, but can I get them on the same lap? NO :dopey:

Here we go then, (rotten) times submitted:
T1: 0:24.838
T2: 1:06.669

Catch you in 2 or 3 weeks.

i haven't had a lot of time for this race, but the time i did have i had some fome with. Good combo kents and good luck to all those who are still racing. My time is in.

T1: 24.013 even though i saw numerous 23.5s and 23.6s i couldn't pull off clean laps
T2: 1'04.609 havent pulled off anything faster than that

It is a goddamn shame this car, this circuit and com bo were wasted with another lame arcade car. Hopefully we will get back to racing at Cote soon and get back in the Vertigo (SIM version)sooner than 40 weeks. Great car. Great circuit.

off pace this week but gave it my best in the 42 laps I ran..

24.863/1'07.177

time submitted

We need to get Macau in GT4 and see how many people want to run a race on that. Monaco will look like the Grand Canyon.
