...

Blake? Need a little help here buddy.

Sounds like fun, nice to have some freedom on it.

I actually have a question - as much modification as we can afford or stock from the shop?

I used to think that I was pretty good at this game. Now I have joined this group of outstanding video game gods and cannot even compete on a good day. This is the only post that I will ever do because I never set cars up and my checkpoint times are not worth posting. Thanks for popping my ego bubble (lol) and keep on racing. I'm glad that I can still beat all of you on the real race courses though. Later

I wouldn't hold my breath hoping that that's true either.

So it must be a 4WD car not racing under 600HP and what do you mean by power-to-weight not lower to 2,500?

The page that displays the specs of your car also has a Power to Weight ratio. This HAS to be above 2.5, meaning the car must weigh 2.5Kg pr. Bhp..

Ohh.. And remember, the P2W ratio will drop ever so slightly as the car is broken in ;)

This looks like a fun challenge, but unfortunately I can't make it. Taking the wife and kids camping in an unusual cold and wet danish summer. :yuck:

Good luck to everybody. 👍 See you next week. :)

Lucky bastard. :lol:

Well, I'm an outdoor man. I can take the rain, but I do fear some serious whining from the rest of the family. ;)

I'll go for a stock Tommykaira ZZ-|| with an oil change.
:mischievous: I don't think it'll be fast enough.. Time will tell ;)

[edit]
Make that HEAVY enough as well :D
[/edit]

Stock power to weight ratio: 1.841.

Unless you can find a way to make the car weigh 1355kg or lower it to 400HP, you're above the 2.500 limit.

Woohoo! I get to run a car I like! 👍

In other words I don't care how fricken slow it will be, as long as I like it. :dopey:

*Edit-
First 10 laps....
Best lap: 16.5/37.0/1:05.0

Can't say I'm a big fan of Trial Mountain, and I have 2.7% of GT3 left to complete (including 3 enduros). So I'm gonna sit this one out, and I'll be back next week (unless I finish the game in only 3 or 4 days). Good luck to all!

Damn!!!The ZZ-II is useless for this week,power weight ratio 1.755,isn't there a way to get it above 2.500??Wich car are you guys using for this week??Damn!

Hey guys,

Finally got some time to go racing, well GT3'ing. I've just gone for a good handling car thats close-ish to the pwr. First clean lap after 5 laps:

T1 = 15.377
T2 = 35.192
T3 = 1.02.859

I haven't had to much of a go recently in the weekly, but im gonna try commit myself to this one, and I have been following the weekly even if I havent had a go at it.

Comon post some times guys, this ones gonna be interesting. :mischievous:

*Edit* - No point in keeping it a seret what car im using, its the Impreza Rally car :dopey: . Shocker huh. :)

Bugger, I just read the rules more closely, and it seems the rally car is not legal, or is it? Now, what other car to use... Does "any 4wd road car" refer to road as in no race modified cars or as in no rally cars, or both? I have this feeling i'm confusing myself here.

Hmm, I just realized that two of my favourite cars (the Skyline and the Evo) could be competitive this week, so I'm probably going to join in in a day or two. I was able to complete 3 of the 7 races in the dream car series in one sitting, and that's my last full series to complete. So count me in, but I'm not going to be submitting times for a while.

I look forward to trying out the Skyline and Evo!

Yeah everyone, don't forget that there are no race cars or rally cars allowed this week.

And just incase anyone is wondering for future refference...
The ZZ2 is taken as a race car in most competitions like this. :mischievous:

As for me... I think this week will be an R Tuned Skyline week... although I am sure there will be a great ctr2 run for someone.

I will be back later with any progress... till then, later. :D

Have you ever tried to make a CTR2 turn? :crazy:
After everyone tries out the CTR2 and then promptly switches to something easier to drive... errr... something that STEERS, I'll be one of the few (if any) that gets to enjoy the wheelies crossing the T1 mark. ;)

Smallhorses
Do the Mine's and Nismo versions of Evo & Skyline count as Road cars?

Road Car = anything with-out sponsors decals and/or racing numbers.

Mine's and Nismo is not a sponsor decal, so yes, they would be eligible.

I was horrified the first time I drove the CTR2, I thought I was driving something with the handling of a top fuel dragster! I'm expecting this car to be out of the running very quickly also, due to it's baffling handling.

BAH my first race in this comp and i cant use my favorite car (tommy kaira)..well ill try my best without it =D Do u all use a wheel or the DS2?
