Well I'm not great at rally with 4WD's -- I use FF for rally -- but I'll give it a go. Tahitit circuit is a good track, I dunno about II but I'll give it a god all the same.

Rally eh. I am t3h suck at Rally. If last week was Imola (second on my Button streak), then this is sure going to be Spain (8th).

I'll race it when I get some time - I've been at uni for 9 hours now and I've got 4 to go before I get home, so I guess I'll put in a late night run. Given I missed out on a win by a tenth last week, if I'm remotely in the running, I'll keep at it all week if I can this time too.

I guess I will try this one. I registered in time for the last race but I can only drive the cobra for show not speed. Trying to control that thing was like riding a ice-skating elephant

Although I've never been good at rally, I'll give this week a go, maybe I'll finally get quick at rally racing. And besides, anything will be an easy drive after the cobra!

I'm still dissapointed that the Mini didn't get the go-ahead for this week though. Maybe next week...

heh, Lotus beat me to the punch on the track name's error. But I ran 5 laps on Tahiti Circuit II, and I got a T1 of 29.713 and and a T2 of 1'04.140. Keeping the car off the wall after the big jump without lifting off the throttle will certainly be key to a good clean lap.

I ran 5 laps earlier, ALOT of improvement needed but getting more comfortable with rallying with 4wd's.

My bad on that one, I didn't look at the game for the track, I read it out of the suggestions thread where Famine posted it by the name tahiti course.

Also, no, I didn't do this race because of the suggestions at the last second.
I actually had this race picked out since the very begining of week 74... I just kept it quiet.
In fact, only 1 racer found out that there was going to be a rally, and in true sportsman form, he didn't ask where it would be or what car it would be in. 👍

As for the race,
I wish you all the best of luck.

I'm not sure if I will be in on the race this week, but don't worry.
Also, as for the mini...

We did a mini cup through the management of a great weekly racer, scuderia229.
That was only a little while back, so I'm not sure that the mini will get any track time in the immediate future.

However, as usual, the suggestions of every racer will be considered before posting next weeks race.

Gotta go to Austin & help my daughter move apartments & "Hang Out" a bit for the rest of the week, so this may be my only chance to run w/Y'All.

EDIT: Eight more Laps yielded a modest improvement, if I can't get a few more in late tonite this'll be it for me:

T-1 = 27.203'
T-2 = 59.811'

But the best news is that I "Found" almost 1 full second at the Finish Line! Good Luck All!

GT3 Arcade cars are lame....the rally escort is lamer and the Tahiti circuits are the lamest.

Wow, after a few laps I thought I had some good times, but you guys are flying. Got me by a couple seconds in some cases. Looks like a switch to standard shift and some more practice is in the works now.
