Well I hope that was fun for all of you.
The course and the car seemed to have went together well.

Now I would like to congradulate some of the fastest racers out there.

Mr P takes the honor of an overall win, as well as the recognition as the only one of us to drop a clean lap under 1'20.000. Well done P 👍
Of course he wasn't alone up there in the front of the pack...

icemanshooter23 comes in with an amazing time by beating his closest div 2 competition by over .8 seconds. That's not even mentioning how he beat all of division 1 except for Mr P.

However, not to be shown up, Darin rollz out with an amazing time... In fact, a time that once again beats all of division 1.
(At this point an honorable mention should go out to rollazn who also managed to pull a solid div 1 time dispite his division 3 rank)

Good job to all of you. 👍

Now the results.

edit: Got bored

Shoot! I knew Darin was going to be fast. Congrat to Darin, Mr.P, and Icemanshooter23. All really fast times!

I see a couple of you were sandbagging on your T times you sneaky !@#$'s.

Curious to know some submitted lap time T times from anyone and everyone.

It would also be nice to have any replays (NTSC) or sector times for anyone under the 1'21 mark. I'd like to see where I was losing time.

Nice runs everyone and congrats to the winners of each division. 👍

Nice lap Mr P! 👍
Great job by all racers as always. :D

Curious to know some submitted lap time T times from anyone and everyone.

All I remember is that mine are much slower than I had previously. I was chasing a 1:19.9 ghost for most of the week, but could never keep up and keep it clean. I can post up my replay tonight.

Some really good times there guys 👍 Congrats to MrP for an outstanding time  and to icemanshooter23 & Darin for their wins 👍

It would appear that I somehow managed to lose a lot of time on the final sector so I will be very interested to see where that time came from, perhaps I wasn't forceful enough through that sector, time will tell.

That was good fun, thanks Kent 👍 👍

Thanks for the replay MrP 👍 I am stunned at this because at T2 I had 50,975 and somehow managed to lose about .700 in the last sector. I know I lost some time there and that was why I was slightly annoyed with myself but .700 has made me feel worse. :ouch: Congrats again mate 👍

Congrats to all the winners. Amazing times, guys. 👍

Thanks to Kent for a very enjoyable combo. :D 👍

EDIT: Almost forgot. Thanks to eggmann for the T2 leaderboard. 👍 Please continue. :)

Nice run Mr.P good to see that replay. I can see i'm getting closer and closer to that kind of chrono, i bust a few 50.8xx but was not able to keep it to the end.

Congrats to all the other drivers, it was a fun but not easy run.

Can i make a suggestion: that be great to have all the result with t times. So we can see where we lose time and compare easyly with other drivers.

Thanks Niels, but I'm not going have access to a pc to maintain this for week 78-79. If anyone else wants to, feel free. I will resume my new role as "T2 Tracker" in Week 80. :)

I know it's a double post, but I added a week 77 T2 leaderboard on my website also.
It is here: http://www.tuff240.com/week77.htm

After looking at some peoples T2 times on eggmans leaderboard, there is a large difference with their finishing times.

Most noteabley Darin's as he went from last on the T2 board to 2nd overall and 1st in class.
What was your submitted T2 time Darin? (I remember you saying your posted T2 wasn't your fastest.)

Icemanshooter and rollazn also made up a lot of positions as well.
Curious to know your real T2 times. (Sector times would be even better. ;) )

My submitted T2 was more like 51.8-ish, since when I posted the 1st T2, I was still figuring out the last turn.

My submitted T2 was 50,975. That's about .900 ahead of eggmann @ T2 and only ended up .058 ahead of him at the finish line lol :dopey:

08-06-04, 9:03 PM Post #154

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I submitted my time.

I have beaten my record about almost 2 second. I have gotten better at the start, because of Mr. P advice. I also got a better T1 and T2.

My T2 time was 51.871 ( Either it was 51.871 or 51.781 forgot but it don't really make that big of a difference. My T1, i think was in the low 23s)

I already have replaced my ghost for the mini cooper so sector times are basically impossible.

EDIT: I will do the next week one, and I will place those sector times, since I don't have the ablity to place up video. Next week, if i have the chance to do it at all. I told Icemanshooter23 aka Ben, that it was pretty hard for me to do it and my only time possible to play is either if i have no homework or during hte weekends. I just got done playing GT3 and I choice the Skyline GT-R for next week. My times don't look too good so I will have to pick another car.

But once again congrats to Darin for his win and also for Mr. P! Icemanshooter also.

Wow... My submitted T2 was 51.773. Which means I'm losing more than a full second on the final sector (and the final @#$% turn).
I'll have to check some replays to see where I'm losing that much time.

Your speed before the T2 also matter alot. The speed you carries through that corner. Also the final turn and the first turn are hard. You have to get it perfect to get a great time.

Well I can't upload files with .sps or .max extensions, so I zipped them together. Attachment contains NTSC Sharkport and MaxDrive files.

You should NOT erase your replay for AT LEAST a week after you run a race. Preferably longer or never (x-port or similar device). It hasn't even been 24 hours yet!

Especially if you have a time that would bump you up a division or 2.

*Edited in from WRS info sticky post:
"Make sure and save the races that you participate in to your memory card. If there are any time discrepancies, you will be asked to provide further information.
But let's keep it clean and honest and have some fun! "

Thanks, I did not know that since I did not read the sticky, which I will do now. I will now save each replay until the week goes in the Archive folder, or after I post up my sectors. I had no idea, since this is my third time doing these Weekly Series. In addition, I apologize.

Thanks for the little lesson and I will remember it the next time I enter a WRS. Which might be week 78, if I have time? I only did a few runs because school I have to sleep earlier etc… GT3 is the last thing on my mind.

Once again my apologies and hope you people have fun next week.

I think a few things need clearing up here so we can get on with the series?????

I have checked threw and corrected your math mistakes. I didn't gain over .8s and of course iceman couldn't have done over 1 second in from the T2 to the finish line.

My math IS CORRECT and that is why I posted it.

If I'm ahead of you at T2 by 0.163 at T2, you not only make up that .163 but go ahead and pull out another 0.638 ahead of me. That means you had to go through the final section 0.801 faster than me to achieve that final lap time.

Same with icemanshooter23. (but I'm not 100% sure that I have his correct submitted lap T2 time)

Sorry for the misunderstanding but i had a much lower T2 than you had posted previously, I just didn't post it in the weekly thread. I believe the T2 was of a 51.3 if i remember correctly. Again, sorry for the misunderstanding.

Hey guys,

all good to compare all those ''T'' times, but i come back on my suggestion, that be great to have all ''T'' times on the final result. Specialy to look at souspicous time.

Just as exemple : If icemanshoote23's as suspecious time.

51.618 tuff240
51.900 icemanshooter23's T2 time (if he had that t2)
-0.282 difference at T2

1'21.006 tuff240
1'20.126 icemanshooter23's total time
+0.880 difference at finish line

+0.880 difference at finish line
+0.282 difference at T2
+1.162 amount icemanshooter23 gained on final section

So like this we can think he had a suspicious time.
So we can compare with Mr. P last sector (because he may has the best)
Mr.P last sector time 79.758 - 50.880 = 28.878
icemanshooter23 last sector time 80.126 - 51.900 = 28.226(always exemple)

We can saw that he has a 0.652 faster sector time than the best driver. So we may ask for some more info on is lap to see if it's a clean lap.
