Sorry Darin, but Flerbizky managed to trick us by not giving a division with his time... turns out he is division 3 and thanks to that, he's the div 3 winner. Congrats Flerbizky.

There are also some division promotions to announce.
Barbol returns to us for division 1 status.
icemanshooter will also now be running division 1.

If you guys are gonna race with div 1 times, you should be running in division 1. Congradulations and good luck with the new competition.

Some final notes about the race...
The MRS was an awesome car for this race. I ran a few laps in the autobacs and managed a respectable time, but I could only assume 1'19.0 was there since I was no where near that sort of time.
I also wonder where Max was on this one... ?

Any one without a car next to there name did not include that info in the time submission.
Also, a few didn't mention their division. I only had to assume flerbizky... Hope I got that right.

Finally,
If any one would like to post replays or analyzer data, please do so in this thread.
I surely wouldn't mind seeing a replay from the 1'19.0 (must be near perfect... what do you think Link? Could you have improved?)

I am Very surprised about my promotion, thank you Kent. I do know, however, that I will have to improve tremedously to be close to the top racers. I'll have to see where I am at after next week to see if the promotion suits me. I also talked to Max a while ago and he said that he didn't meet his goal of getting under 1:19. He had a dirty lap of below 1:19 and a clean lap right above that barrier. I'll be sure to get analyzer data up this week if anyone requests it.

However, I'm getting busy with school starting up again, so be patient.

Did you know that I actually managed a 25.4 once in the RGT?
That was a fast lap for sure, might have even been the keeper.

Nice times. I enjoyed this one, again didn't have much time to spend on it though. For me to be competitive I need to run alot of laps.

I started with the RGT...got it to the 1'23.xxs, switched to the 206 rally...1'24.xxxs, the 3400s...1'22.9xxs...then the Clio race (442hp @ 2.601). The clio was a pain because you only had 12.5 miles you could run it before it ticked under 2.60 so I had alot of restarts on the PS2. I had a lap of 1'21.984 in it but it it had a wall/curb tap right before the hairpin turn. So i deleted it. I also had a 1'22.219 which had a "questionable" moment in it on the same wall (was on the curb, but don't think I hit the wall, the analyzer data didn't show a drop in speed) but again I didn't want to deal with it so I deleted it and submitted my above time.

Ran the Autobacs MRS a tiny bit, managed a 1'22.8xx but I've never liked the car and the clio felt much better to me.

I'll be around, but won't be racing as much until the fall/early winter. The next few months will be super busy for me but if a race interests me I'll try to make the time.

Notice the new name too...."13" (or some variation there-of) is the screenname I have used for years on just about any other msg brd I am on or email account...figured I'd change it. Maybe it will help me get my butt in gear again and start fighting for podiums in Div 2 again....

All in all...fun week. You kids enjoy your arcade cars this week and I'll see ya when I see ya.

To answer that question of 'near-perfect' Kent... not even close.

I am willing to wager that 1'18.5 is within grasp, my T2 on the 19/075 is slower than 47.114 (the best I ever got) but I also know that I could have had T2's down around 46.6xx since I have seen T1's @ 21.9!

IIRC, my best lap has a T1 @ 26.097 - and I've seen sub 26s, so yes, I do believe that - and if I'd put more effort into it, I think I could've managed faster than my submission time - The problem was, that my RGT, after break in, became illegal (2.597 PWR), so I had to run the **** out of it until it started to loose power - Then I could run about 5 laps before it became a problem, then - Reload, 5 laps, reload, 5 laps.. Became sligthly irritating in the end

sorry no time from me. i figured after the first initial sessions that i would come back and push into 1'18.7's with a little more work. i ran a 1'18.897 but that was with a 47.1 t2 and what i percieved as an error in the penultimate turn. running up the curb there i had a 1-2 mph tap that nullified the lap. my best clean was a 1'19.011 but i didn't bother saving it because i knew clean 1.18.7 was not only possible but probable. unfortunately, the summer games came and i lost interest in everything else. after 3 years i just don't do it when i don't feel like it anymore.

There is nothing I like more than when racers provide data or replays without being directly asked to do so.

Not only does it build trust, but it lets all of us see where we may have gone wrong on our lap... well atleast some of us.

I hope it was meant in a way other than what it looks like... cause uh, you know it kinda looks like you're saying...

That would be very dissappointing.

But since you're an xport racer I will leave the benefit of the doubt on your side, I just hope I'm not making a mistake by doing so.
