I'm quite happy with my position in division 1 since it's the first time i've raced in the WRS.

Congratulations to the people who finished under the minute mark (Cinjun8, missing link, Mr P)... The laps must have been near perfect to extract those sort of times. 👍

yer I have an X-port :-)

You just need to click " save as " on the replay file in the post - then it will save the file to your PC file with any other GT3 game data you have, nect you will need to go back to the x-port program and click on PC database then click "format" I think or "back-up" - one of those two anyway. It will then save the file to your mem card for you to view on the TV.

I hope thats what you meant Ed and that you didnt mean something else and Ive just waffled on about something that is painfully obvious !!

Do you have to rename the save game file to "week79" once you've uploaded it to your PC in order to get it to read "week" 79 in your posts ?

My first race ever and I'm the last 787b in D1, maybe I should have run more laps....

How many laps do you guys run?

I think over the week about 100 or so but there'll be racers who do probably three times that amount !!

There were times before where I ran 1000+ miles on one challlenge.

I don't think I did that at GTP yet, maybe at CS, since it's so long.

I practised about 200 laps for this one (which is the maximum I ever practised for a race here at the WRS.)

My submitted time was my first clean save.
I don't remember how many laps it took, but it was within the first 10-15mins.
I continued another 30-40mins., until I butchered a possible podium lap. (Don't you hate it when that happens?)
I was disheartened, so I "pulled the plug".

What an astounding close finish in Div 2! Congrats to HighonPSI for "eeking" out the victory, and to Ed99 (along with a "welcome back") for a really close chase. Hearty congrats also to the fast Div 1 guys, especially the sub-minute trio!

Here's my replay (NTSC, sharkport). Way too clean, overall. Not really "at the limit" anywhere. I expected to be way off the Div 2 pace, based on the T2s, but I guess I finished well on this one. Only lost 0.1 to ML in sector 3, if I did the math right.
