Cracked the 1'05 barrier. 👍

Now at 29.9xx T1 and 1'04.856 T2

Have seen 29.6 T1 but threw it away on the next bend! 👎

Had a pretty good run and the "save" button on my menu is dimmed and won't let me save it. :confused:
:( :( :(

You should always save your best run before changing any part of the settings as your run will be non-saveable ... always save first then fiddle :)

unlucky :indiff:

Bollocks.

Just reviewed the last lap I posted about, there's a teeny tiny wall scrape on the 2nd-to-last bend that I didn't notice before I saved over my previous clean lap.
Now I have no clean save and no more time to race, as I'm off to San Diego in the morning. Take my name off the list please, Tuff240.

Bugger.

had another go this morning,and managed this...
T1 : 29.884 :D
T2 : 1:04.628
My fastest first two sectors!!!.Lost a couple of tenths on the last sector to my previous best sector 3, but still smashed my overall time.

Some improvements this week end, but not as much as I wanted.
T1 = 30.960 (best dirty 30.6)
T2 = 1'06.800

I expect an easy 0.7 improvement, if only I can get something clean tonight.

Time submitted.

Only slight improvement:

30.865
1'06.474

See you next week. :)

Ran some laps this morning.

T1 29.570
T2 1:04.362 👍

Looks like its gonna be real close for the podium in Div 2 :sly:

Edit * T1 29.547
T2 1:04.135 :)

Time submitted.

I won't be anywhere close to podium this week.
I just hope I'm ahead of Niels :)
T1 = 30.498
T2 = 1'06.067

Had my last chance tonight, the wingman just wasn't doing it for me, the Momo has a dodgy thread so it wont sit on the desk tight :irked: So with DS2 and some settings changes 200+km driven, I managed to overtake almost everyone in the field! Muhahaha !!!!
:D
T1 - 29.356
T2 - 1'03.296

Clean! :D

Think I'll leave it at that :mischievous:

When I said "this is war" I meant it! :D:D :lol:

I think Slowpoke will take the top spot though :scared:

Can someone that knows for sure confirm that we have 2.5 hours until deadline? :dunce:

I want to work on this until about 30 minutes before the deadline, but don't want to submit late as I have already put a lot of time in on it. ;)

I won't be getting any time to improve my best from yesterday....it takes to long to get one good clean fast lap....so my best clean will be at least a full second off the top times here.

T-1= 29.627
T-2=1:03.615

I had an almost perfect run several tenths faster, even with a kiss of the wall coming into the short chute before the straight.....so a slower run will have to stand. That's what makes this Tokyo II so difficult. :crazy:

Looks like some good potential times..especially Lotus350, Slowpoke and others.....a good battle shaping up for the win! :)

See everyone at the next race.

Hey all!

Just thought I would drop in and let everyone know where the race stands. :D

As of right now there are not many times submitted so those podiums are up for the taking. ;)

Also, there is about 2 hours left before the deadline, so keep up the work if you can.

On an administrative level I want to add something else...

This week is going to be similar to other weeks... what do I mean by that?

Week 84 will be posted shortly and week 83's results will be posted tomorrow sometime (so don't be shy about those last minute submissions I have so hated in the past :guilty: ). :lol:

Hope you guys enjoyed this race and I hope that you all enjoy the next race to come.

Till next time,
-

Thanks for the heads up Kent. 👍
I don't mind waiting at all when I know before hand I'm going to have to wait.

@ GT3mich - I answer stupid questions ALL the time on several forums, I thought I deserved one myself. (bends over and moons all of Michigan :lol: )

@ HighonPSI, Mark and anyone else near the top of the D2 leaderboard can look in my replays section of my website and I will post my time there a little after the deadline. I don't think I can catch HighonPSI, but me and Mark should be really close. 👍

I personally never got started on this race, so I won't be able to send one at 11:59 tonight. ;)

Good luck everyone!

Woohoo!
I just beat my previous best by .3! :D

I was a bit nervous at the last turn though and took it a little too slow. :scared:

Time submitted: 29.312 / 1'04.053

Another abbreviated effort on my part, not helped by having my home team (Redskins) on MNF. I was running laps during the numerous advertising breaks, but that's not a great way to get much continuity. Tough race to run in a short, choppy, session, as way more than half my laps ended before the T1, and I lost half of the survivors at the final turn:

31.081 1:07.068 with a decent finish.

Think I'd have enjoyed this one if I'd had more time, but it was a bit frustrating trying to do it in a rush, and the hapless 'Skins didn't help my disposition any. :yuck:

Good one Kent! 👍

That's an excellent 1st sector time 'Tuff'.....I know how hard it is to get through there fast and clean....fast usually means slamming the outside wall and blowing it! So, it's a big deal to get through at 29.3... 👍

See you at Apricot Hill II....Sim Tires? I hate to sound like an idealist, but I've never run on Sim tires......I feel like Madonna singing, "like a virgin"..... :scared:

HareTurtle: I was born and raised in the Washington, D.C area.....Brandywine Md.....went to Gywnn Park High School in southern Md. I was a Redskin fan back when they were Super Bowl Champs! I lost interest in the game when they fell from glory.
