The Alteeza LM is a race car through and through. :D
But out of curiosity, why do you say it is classified as a road car?
As daan says, but there is another way to see it : in MK's program it appears as 'Road' and not 'Race'. This is a bug in the game, but I asked the question anyway.
That car would have been a 'killer'. Probably as unfair as can possibly be, but a 'killer' anyway (and I would have been far ahead of Niels 💡 ) look below :

NielsG
26.385
59.866
1'16.495
After some settings, my best clean lap says :
26.347 :D
59.872 :grumpy:
1'16.747 👎 I shifted down once too many in the blind left after T2.

See you, I jump back in my Celica. Can't go to bed until I lap under 1'16.5 :scared:

Oh, and duh! :lol:

The alteeza Lm is sure to be under the 4.0 pwr limit!

So keep at it guys, but thanks for the little bit of knowledge regarding the alteeza. ;)

Leaderboard updated.

I added the cars mentioned by the drivers and I posted what I'm driving as well.
Be nice to see what everyone is driving now that the cats out of the bag anyways.

A few setup improvements and a little more running to test the limits of this car....Now showing signs of improvement:

T-1 = 26.015
T-2 = 59.995
T-3=1:16.130

I've been running the 3400s. I'll give the Celica a try, and I'm curious about one other car, too :)

EDIT:

16.2 / 59.7 / 1'15.9 clean in the GT-Four at 4.2PWR :mischievous:

I can honestly say, I never would have picked this car, but it's fantastic 👍

I had considered running the Celica GT4 (it was the first car I got in GT2 and basically got to 50% in without even realizing I could tune it). Meh, I'll give it a run later on (almost sleepytime for me).

well this sounds like fun but i cant race :grumpy: my 9 month old niece :lol: was crawling grabbed the controller cord and yanked it down now it wont play anything :banghead: :mad: :grumpy: . 🤬 :banghead: . but shes just a baby so i just got over it it scared her to death when it fell.

I have 3 kids : respectively 6, 2 and 1. They broke 2 controllers already this year, so I'm currently using a 3rd one and I keep #4 as a spare one :scared:

I only have two controllers. When one of them breaks, it's time for me to break out the screwdrivers and the soldering iron. :rolleyes:

I'm using a Skyline GT-R V-Spec.II with 370 BHP.PWR,a little more then 4.100.It runs "great". :dopey:

T2:1:00.874

First clean lap so far and for me I'm doing it great for a division 2 if you ask me.
Great idea Kents about the Sim tires,really different then the normal.But one question about the suspension,what will corner better?Harder or softer suspension?

Ok, I just took a couple runs in the Celica GT-Four. The downforce on this car helps it out tremendously, as it seems like I'm running on T5s instead of T0s. I saw a 1'16.8 T3 in one of the runs, but screwed it up on the last corner. :mad:

Edit:
After another ten laps in the car:
0'26.507; 0'59.958; 1'16.232

That's with an overall 1.8 second cut off my overall time. :sly:

Many laps tonight (I'm afraid to say the number), and many times a third wheel in the grass or sand by the skin of the teeth.
But eventually I ran a perfectly clean lap which is better than yesterday's best :
T1 = 26.333
T2 = 59.774
T3 = 1'16.306

As Cooper said (Alice, not John) : "Little by little by little by little... Little by little tonight".
(OK, Dusty Springfield said it too, but I'm not that old :guilty: )

Saturday morning edit :
Similar T times,
T1 = 26.421
T2 = 59.637
T3 = 1'16.332
but lap time improved by almost 0.490 sec.

I saw a 26.181, so I'll keep on trying until monday evening.

Just got an opportunity to get back into a car this morning.....early in the session results are:

T-1 = 26.374
T-2 = 59.635
T-3=1:15.897

The T-3 time was slowed because I forgotten to shift down to 4th entering the S-curves immediately following the big right sweeper. Rats....I probably lost a tenth or so with that blunder. :crazy:

Well, let's get back to the track... 👍

Edit: After an exhaustive workout trying to get a faster 'clean' run, I settled for a slightly slower than my best splits, T-1's @ 25.9, T-2's @ 58.8, and T-3's of 1:14.9's and can report a best 'clean' lap at:

Celica GT-Four...Specs. 304 hp @ 6100 rpm....1228 kgs.=4.039 kgs/hp
T-1 = 26.143
T-2 = 59.266
T-3=1:15.178

There are a few more tenths out there for me but I doubt if I can get it clean. :)

What would really make this interesting (with or without the 'sim tires') in the future is the same event with the Celica GT-Four, Ruf 3400S or any 'winged' car thrown out. That would open up a wide variety of nervous cars with no clear favorite.

Only had an hour to do something about this weeks race, so I used the only car in my garage that was already wearing Sim tyres.

T1 29.799
T2 1'07.470
T3 1'25.164

Time submitted.

V. slow compared to Celica, but I'm using a somewhat unorthodox choice of car!

Mini Cooper baby!!! 158HP 640kg PWR 4.051

Gt3Emperor
Celica GT-Four...Specs. 304 hp @ 6100 rpm....1228 kgs.=4.039 kgs/hp
Don't lighten it. You can get dead on 4.000.

Flat-out,
Please don't,I might have a chance. :lol:
26.287
59.763
1'16.312

OH? I never tried it that way.....

I'm running some laps in the "Short Race series" Arcade Challenge with MR-S or C-West Razo arcade cars at Deep Forest.

I'll be back cause' I know the bar will be raised here at Apricot Hill II.

The Skyline runs really great with the sim tires on this track,you guys should try it.

T2:0:59.672.

I think I can achieve a 0:59.3 in T2,nothing better.

Anyone have some good tips for the setup of the celica? I can't find a good one. Ill go this week tho.

Div 2
t1 27-8xx
t2 1'02-xxx
t3 1'19-xxx

Just a rough brief 10 minute session.

I used the Celica to for an hour but the best results were a T2 of 1:02 and more!So try the Skyline or the 3400 S but I think it's better if you use the car wich you like the best.My Skyline:black with gold rims,if it looks better, I drive it better.

Sorry sjaak.
New best clean lap has :
T1 = 26.566
T2 = 59.410
T3 = 1'16.185
And I know I can easily shave 0.30 off T1. Which means I can expect T3s in the 1'15 and I still have 2 evenings left.
(To be honest, I'm not driving the GT-Four anymore.)

Yes, my best laps are all screwed up too. I have one great t1 in the 26.1 range, but then i screwed up the t2. Also, my best t3 is not my best lap. haha oh well. I have a new set of "best" t times for me:

26.485
1'00.292
1'17.085

And there's plenty more where those came from.

Hush....everybody has gone quiet! "What going on?" Marvin Gaye used to say, and it's a good question, "What going on?"

I'm not feeling all that racey today, but I think I'll take a few laps anyway just in case something happens. See you's at the track. :)

I dunno, I'm at around 38.6 sec. coming out of it. I'm gonna submit my time now. Final 't' times (cilica):

26.166
1'00.042
1'16.461

GL all.

I was planning to drive another 1 or 2 hours tonight, but lap 3 was the kind of fast and clean lap I had been expecting :
T1 = 26.223
T2 = 59.185
T3 = 1'15.761

This T3 is simply 0.4 faster than my previous best one, which had taken me about 200 laps to make ; and it'll probably take me another 200 laps to run a faster lap, so I think the week is over for me.

@Jpec07 : I checked my replay and my minimum speed in the hairpin is 36 mph (58 km/h). My top speed at the end of the first straight is 133 mph (214 km/h).

Have a nice final day everybody, and see you next week, I'll have Solid Snake kill some russians on Big Shell in the mean time.
