I agree, the T2's for this track are a little deceptive as there is a LOT of time to be made up or lost after T2. It will be interesting to see everyone's final time.
Nice run you got there Luxy, Your math was a touch off and you have the same exact T2 total as GT3mich. I listed him before you because... 1) he ran it first... 2) he's in D1.
I bet I can guess who the next person moving up to D1 is going to be.
thanks tuff. Actually, it was your splits I was chasing last night. You posted quick ones early in the week, which made me keep on pushing 👍

Great times coming in guys!
I feel like running again, but I already submitted my time.
And besides that, I don't think I can ever beat my lap 2 time.
Great first lap sectors Luxy, you made some nice improvements. 👍
Thanks, Tomski. I'm still a bit frustrated, as I can literally see where all the time is going down the toilet in the replay (a little wide in turn 1, and too careful in turn 2), but like you, I don't think I'd be able to match my first lap again
.
Very nice T2 on your second lap, BTW. Once this is all over, I'd really like to know what your second lap time was.
FWIW, here's what I'd say is most important:
staying as tight as possible to the inside on turn 1, a little bit of sliding is ok, and be up into third as you come onto the short straight.
not slowing down too much for turn 2 (probably the easiest way to loose time). Some sliding is ok, as long as you're on the gas early. Staying tight to the apex is crucial. Upshift into 3rd well before the last left onto the straight.
in the hairpin, stay left on the entry, break hard down to 2nd, then let off until the car comes around, taking a late apex line, and hard on the gas, staying in 2nd gear.
on the uphill chicane before T2, not sliding at all (it kills you on the long, flat out run after T2). It can be done full throttle, without sliding.
In the last hairpin, not apexing to early on the left jog, braking down to second and staying very tight to the inside (on the rumble strip), then getting on the gas as early as possible. Avoiding a slide at all costs.
For the final turn, staying tight to the inside, letting off partway through. Minimum speed, 85/86mph, and cross the line at 115mph.
