Week 87: Running With The Wolf

I spent a lot of time playing on the PS2 this week-end, and my barbarian has already reached level 19 at Champions of Norrath.
Unfortunately, this didn't leave much time for GT3, and I actually did practice some more but I didn't improve my time.

Submitted race :
Lap 1 : 38.512 - 1'03.490 ( 👎 )
Lap 2 : 28.915 - 53.604 (personal best 👍 )
Lap 3 : 29.274 - 54.059 (average)

And I'm not confident at all in my final sectors : way too slow in the last hairpin (90 km/h mini)

I saw many faster opening laps (37.4xxx / 1:01.811) but this is the fastest, clean, triple lap race. Oh well..

I don't know if i can allready participate but here are my times...

28.682 / 52.973

I think these are good times but my last 3rd of the lap is not so good....

Times like that put you in division 1 instantly.
(not to mention a league where replays and data are strongly encouraged
So count yourself as the newest div 1 racer.

Anyway,
Just wanted to pop in and let you all know what's up.

Basically the next week's race will be up in a few minutes and as usual you can expect results to follow sometime tomorrow.

After a two week hiatus due to busy RL and a dead hard drive (writing this on an antique borrowed laptop) I just couldn't not run a few attempts. Time submitted:

1:03.252, 54.632, 54.378.

Saw a few 1:02s and 53.xs, but couldn't get 'em together in a good race. Had a good time trying though . Another good one Kent! 👍

Thought I'd make it current to this post even though deadline has passed so we could see where we all stood anyways.

@ Kent:
I have a suggestion for you about when you promote racers up to a next division. Maybe let there final week in their old division stand as we raced them all week and expected them to be in our division? Speaking specifically of Jadaman and HighonPSI last weeek that myself and Luxy were pretty close to and enjoyed the competition with them. They deserve a final victory before moving up to the slaughterhouse known as D1. If they are blazingly fast and it is obvious earlier in the week, maybe move them up a division then (like you did with Thurzo) before they put tons of effort in?
Just a suggestion, take it or leave it.

You won't hear much from me in week 88 : I checked my planning again and again, and tonight will be my first and only session for this race.
So you can expect an early submission ('submition' seems to weird) and a poor time. I mean, poorer than usually

Edit :
I support tuff's suggestion that a driver should be ranked in the division he was in at the beginning of the week, and that his/her promotion should only come into effect for the next week.
This shouldn't apply to Thurzo since he was in no division when the week began and by his times he obviously deserves to be in div 1.
