Looks like I picked the wrong week for a promotion! :ouch:

I had to slow down for the deer crossing the road.... that's my story and I'm sticking to it.

I've put 200 miles on my 3400S since my splits with still no improvement. :(

T1 is under the first tunnel, T2 just before the last one. The third time is the lap time about which we cannot tell anything here.
If you have something else, check that you're racing on Deep Forest.

New best at 22.6 and 49.2. I've seen a bunch of 22.5's and I know I'm losing tons between T1 and T2, I know there is a 48 there for me if I can put it all together.

Took another shot at the combo...

:(
Started all over again with 0 miles and 448 hp.

26 miles later... 49.0 T3

Hope you all have fun with the laps, and be careful about those edges on the track... No going off in those sweet spots!

Other than that last reminder of clean racing, have fun everyone. :D

Now back to getting up the drive for a bc4 run. :irked:

Geez Kent, I just can't put this race down. New best with a 49.21 and .3 off the final time. I'm shooting for a 48.

22.861
49.194

And cleaned up the finish. :D A tenth more at T1 and another tenth before the line and I'll be happy.

Only had about 60mins spare for a go today... 40 mins of it made no progress whatsoever, so I put my quickest 'ghost' on, within 5 mins had improved overall time 0.6sec, in the 15 remaining minutes found another 0.3 on top of that...

Losing time in T1...

New clean times...

T1 23.129
T2 49.731

Still with standard gear-ratio's :(

After a few km (something like 200km) my T1-22.749; T2-49.179
not bad, but i can still improve.

one Question about the rules, just to be sure: is it clean or not to have 2tires over the rumble strips and 2 on the dirt?

rumble strips are part of the track.I bet you refer to the last corner?

After 200 Miles the best i got was this but it´s not clean :(

23.1
49.7

On my own setup, i´m going to try now the Tannis and the Tuff240's setups.

I switched to Tannis' setup and ran lap after lap.
I've seen 22.8 and 49.6 but nothing clean yet.

Edit :
Except for the gearbox, I'm using an 18 / 3.200 with tranny trick.

Spent a while agian on this and came away with a 22.6/48.856. Still a little left but not a whole lot.

Finally got a chance to run some, had a lot of runs lost having three wheels off

Best clean so far:
22.7 / 49.1
PB: 22.5 / 49.0

I Know there's still quite a bit left, as that save is 0.400 off my personal best overall.

New personal best splits:

22.4 / 48.7 (dirty, dirty, dirty) :yuck:

I'm having a lot of trouble getting *anything* clean :grumpy:

Weekend at last!

First time I have time to set a time:

23.212
50.303

on soft suspension, big camber, final of 2.250 (18) and 462 HP

T1 22.975
T2 49.777
I lost some time after t2,a clean lap was essential this morning.

It's probably because it's fitted as standard...
Rufs (like the Porsches they're based on) are RR cars.
Why would they need any driveshaft if everything is located at the rear ?
Only FR or 4WD cars need driveshafts (RF or MF would also but that configuration doesn't exist)

BTW, I cannot find anything on the thread about ASM and TCS. Since they're available on my car I would guess they're allowed, but nobody seems to use them this week. Except me that is. It improved my lap time by 0.7 with an expected 0.5 to come.
So before I practice more I'd like to have confirmation that they are legal.

TCS & ASM are allowed.

And yes, you got the driveshaft thing right... There is no driveshaft on this car, it's a MR!

Also, just so you guys know, the reason that driveshaft upgrade is on the list in the first post is because I just copied part of week 88's tuning list then added the specifics of this race.

Hope you guys are enjoying the race and the car!

Until next time,

They still have driveshafts, 2 of them actually. They go from the transaxle out to the trailing arm. Different configuration from a FR, but still serve the same purpose and are basically the same thing.

With BC4 in full swing, I won't get any time to put a serious effort into this weeks race. I suck at Deep Forest, so it would take a lot of time to improve and I just don't have it. I saw a 49.6 once and threw it away in the last turn, so I had hope, but just no time.

Leaderboard current to this post.
Good luck everyone. 👍
