There's something wrong with GTP. Extremely slow performance...

Just got "disconnect from lobby server". No idea why (if someone wants to help me fix this would be appreciated), rejoining now.
 
Seems everything went smoothly except for the above DC. 11 cars on track. Some people stayed behind to test Rome for a bit. I'm out to test for the Daytona 2.4 on Saturday.
 
Awesome fun, I think if anything I was best at holding up the field lol. Definitely need to practice to be competitive.
 
Great racing, had fun, I finally found out why I was in the high 5s, I had the wrong brake bias.
Did a 4.9 in practice, Q was a 5.1, race was a 4.7 w draft. T/A was running laps in the low 4s so I just glad to be only a second off pace.
Rome is a MAJOR draft track and should be very close.
I was doing low 27s, should be doing low 26s next week, I could see a 25.... I think.
@reality you're fast, you just need to stop over driving the car.

Thanks mate, comes with practice. How much of a difference does the brake bias setting cause? I've never noticed it do that much in all honestly, would setting it to 10 10 increase my braking performance? Atm I tend to leave it well alone.

Edit: 20 minute practice session, now on a 1.27.822. I can see the room for improvement, not stringing it together though. Possible I can touch 1.26 if I do it.

Low speed car wants low pressure brakes.
If you're @ 10/10 the initial bite on the brakes will lock the tires and kick in the abs with almost no pedal travel. That means you're drastically lowering the resolution of your brake pedal. You want the lowest brake force that will lock the wheels at 100%. Anything more than that is wasted energy.

You only need high pressure brake force if you're trying to stop from 220mph on the mulsanne. carracer is most likely just talking about bias front to rear. On some tracks this car likes front or 50/50 bias and some rear (like this one or gver... rome probably too).
