The window of time is rather large this week. Did the last one have a similar schedule?

Yeah, it was rather long too. End time was like 9pm PST.

on the plus side, a 17 hour maintenance window certainly means they're adding capacity and/or significant software updates
so cross your fingers that lag improves

I'm crossing my fingers so hard I can't uncross them anymore.

Anyway, I'm down for Friday night since it's my day off. We could make it one big race as well.

Friday will be important for me as well since I really want to test room sizes to see if we can run full rooms again.

The issues we have on GT5 have nothing to do with PSN. It's GT5 servers that need a good maintenance and a good overhaul.

How exactly do you know that?
The problems are obviously load related. Something has recently gone sour in the infrastructure, which could be PSN.
