So what Ferrari cars are you guys using for that event on the far right, #5? I don't want to waste money on choosing the wrong model. There's plenty of them. I gotta make a quick decision by this evening. My goal is to score first place in all events by Sunday afternoon. Wasn't too ecstatic about getting the first reward which was a 6-star ticket including car parts. So, what to do? I guess I'll go with the Ferrari that has the highest amount of horsepower and then tune it up, add modifications that stay just below the PP limit.
I used a F50 with a few small mods on SS tires. I have been playing on easy difficulty, so probably not the best choice. The two rabbits are the F8 Tributos.

Since you are racing on easy mode, this race is pretty easy to win. Just for grins, I used a stock 458 Italia '09 with RM tires (overkill) and won by 15 seconds in cruising mode.

I was not a huge fan of the races this week. The American 700 at Watkins Glen was pretty fun in a stock Mustang GT350R on SS tires, but none of the others were much to write home about. Suzuka was too short, VGTs races are never fun and always lopsided, and I was hoping for rain at RBR but it was dry... all in all a snooze fest.

The Ferrari race was an annoying example of some of the things wrong with GT7s race structure. Chase the rabbit, cars that don't seem to adhere to the PP limit, and though this isn't a race structure issue, it was at Fuji. Bleh.

I did it first in a stock F8 on SM tires and didn't run the best race, blowing some apexes and generally outbraking myself. Came in second because the LaFerrari just blasted me on the front straight. So I went in to put SS tires on the F8 and bam, out of PP range now. So I ran to GT auto and put a computer on it so I could lower the power and it took lowering it down to 640ish hp, which meant the other F8s in the race would now blow my doors off.

I did win that time by a little over 3 seconds with the CRB, but this was not a rewarding race.

I did try it once in the LaFerrari on SH (braking at 400 anyone) and hated it, and again in the 458 GR4 on RS tires which might as well have been a Civic on the straights with the way the AI cars completely blew me off the track. Didn't care to finish those ones, and don't care to do that race again!

Now I can concentrate on the TT at SpA in the NSX.
