I understand the concerns about car behavior with different tyres compound, also why fix something that is not broken?

The alternative could be to use the a car with the tyre type that makes it react more like the real model but also respect the tyre choice of the event.

Does not have to be a rule, I am going to try it for a while, just for fun, since as Track rightly point up, most car anyway will be either on CS or SH, same compound we are using most of the time.

I need much more than 500 pp to get there.

You might try a race car if you haven't already..maybe a GT300 car. I haven't tried anything there yet...but I really like the track.

This was one of the more difficult time trialing I have had. Not sure if it was because I was running auto and my braking points may be inconsistent or what. When I was running low to mid 400 teen PP, I was like a second too fast. When I finally worked down to 407 I couldn't get a clean lap to save my life. Finally got one and the time was good. Hoping I am not too fast and hope I am not a slug either.

If you have it, you might want to also try the S2000R1...but I don't think it gets to that PP level

No, I do not have the R1, if anyone as an extra one and want to send it this way, I will gladly try it,:sly: I will also look for it in the used dealer, but that can take a while.
I am driving the Gt1 with the stock set up, it is a lot of fun.:)

I just reread your entry Cote'. When I first read it I thought it said 518PP but I just realized it says 581PP!!!. You're not driving backwards are you?:sly:

no not backward , blindfolded. LOL
I could get better pp with the M3 GTR, but this one is more fun, I have a week to get closer to a lower pp.

I can send you one tomorrow or Sunday, I used up my trade for the day. If I have one stock I'll send it but more than likely I only have one and it'll be tuned for 500 PP on SS and RS tires but you may be able to remove most or all of the parts if you like.

Thank you Johnny but only if you have one too many. I can wait, I am using the GT1 for round 10.

I just do a backup to a USB stick, send the car, then reload the backup and I still have the car...lol.

I'm going to be in the MCRC_Lounge in about 20 minutes, to finalise my entry. I will probably be in there for an hour or so.

EDIT: I'm in my lounge as the MCRC was occupied.

Edit: Just noticed that was for Daytona. Well now you know my plan for round 10 ;) . Are you really at 500+pp for Daytona? What about your lap time. You seem about a minute too fast?

That was just a typo, but yes thats the pp level it took.

I'll be using my Lotus Evora for R10, not sure what other car yet. Maybe a Ginetta?

Some good racing tonight, with the exception of 2 boneheaded moves on my part ruining race 2 and race 3 for some guys. Real sorry about that. Like I said, looking forward to getting out of Daytona ;).

I was really looking forward to tonight but couldn't just couldn't make it. Have to put the Superbird away for another time:ouch:

Well done Sag you could have won the 3 races. Mister regularity at Daytona. Never liked that track, still do not. Next one is going to be so nice. I hope most of the crew is going to be there. We should maybe set ourself a goal to each bring a new member. I liked it better when it was more of us on the track.

Hmmm...struggling a bit at the Ring. Never raced on it in the forward direction. Anyone up for some practice Thursday night around 8:30est? Would love to see what others are doing around some turns. I know I am over driving the track which is the problem. Especially the large uphill left hander.

Key for Autumn Ring is to use the curbs in the esses and the last few corners and avoid them everywhere else pretty much. Keep on the racing line as much as possible.

I was struggling to at the beginning, could not lower my PP, Johnny thought I was driving backward, LOL, but eventualy I gained some speed, Monday is going to be an interesting race.
I will not be available around 8h30 tomorrow but could be around 5h30, if anyone is game.

Autumn Ring is a very highly underrated track in terms of technical challenge. I think it's one of the most underutilized tracks in the game. You really have to use the curbs to your advantage but at the same time hit them at the proper angle to be set up for the next one that follows right after. Grippy track on the racing line, not very grippy off of it. Add in cambered corners, some ups and downs, fast corners, tight corners, a sweeper and it's got just about everything.
