I understand the concerns about car behavior with different tyres compound, also why fix something that is not broken?
The alternative could be to use the a car with the tyre type that makes it react more like the real model but also respect the tyre choice of the event.
Does not have to be a rule, I am going to try it for a while, just for fun, since as Track rightly point up, most car anyway will be either on CS or SH, same compound we are using most of the time.
