Haha I will be very happy to be rid of it on sunday, I'm thinking 9th floor of the parking garage..... :)

I'll open my lounge tonight at 8 or 8:30 EST.

Hope your Gma is doin better loco.

Oh and I'll put a massive wing on the back and paint it orange. Or pink...or Lime green...

I'm wicked jealous - I've only gotten 45 minutes with the game all week, and it looks like you guys are having some good times. However, with the wife working until about midnight tonight, I'll definitely be on for some racing.

Edit - are we doing theme nights? I have a 300hp ae86 sitting around for an Initial D themed event. I also have the 22B Impreza, and obviously a bunch of r32's and rx7's...

RE: you being on tonight -Figures! My GF is coming over tonight, haven't seen her in 2 weeks. So I probably won't be on, but may get a chance to do some laps before I go to bed... It's gonna be like a hardcore porn between the hours of 7 and 11pm.

It's really too bad they don't have a good togue run in the game. I'm pretty sure Trial Mountain and Deep Forest were meant to re-create that sort of feel, but a straight down-hill run would be the best. I would be fine with either of those OR Eiger.

So who gets to run the 86? Personally I love the way the FC feels...
 
Not to get too deep into this anime series, but I thought that once the original 4A-GE broke, they put in a different racing engine rated at 240hp @ 11k rpm. Whereas before, the original setup had 150PS (~147 hp) per Ryosuke's estimate. I could be wrong, but either way that car is way too tight in the back. Edit - have you seen any of the episodes after the race against God Hand (s2k) and God Foot (r34)? I can't seem to find anymore, but the certainly doesn't seem "over" at that point - no real conclusion.

Anyway - system update almost complete...I'll be online in just a moment. notmychoice - I assume your lounge is the place to be tonight?

You're right, they definitely swapped the motor to a "full race" 4A-GE with the 20 valve head. The 4A-GE 20V came with 165hp stock, but the 240hp version was a full blown race engine used in Formula cars, as it was explained to me. Basically a no-holds barred, high compression ratio, high engine speed monster. 240hp out of 1.6 liters NA is pretty awesome :)

So are we on again for tonight? Figured I might stay in this weekend anyway and practice for Round 2 lol. Should be able to join the lounge a lot earlier this time. Picked up a Triton headset (the black/orange set) the other day but didnt have the mic set up right last night.

So due to a ****load of HW last night, had to join a little late while you guys were on High Speed Ring, but had a good time running in the back of the pack with Stig, Commie_Phil (iirc), and a couple others :lol:. Still a complete 'n003' at this online racing thing though haha, had no clue what I was missing out on. 👍

So for next time, aside from cars that are provided, what are some used often that we should buy and add to our 'favorites' list? (I realize a lot of it's pretty random though so of course we all might have to exit out of the lounge here and there to get one). Here's a list of cars I've started from reading through this thread that may be used:

- GT-R GT-A or V-Spec
- 370z
- Xanavi Z GT car (didn't see it in online car list, but not sure)
- Fiat 500 (~1960s)
- Gran Turismo Kart
- ???

I already have two x2010s if anyone wants one to borrow one of these nights (temporarily, of course, until I get time to win the other two, only had time to Bronze the Vettel Challenge, which was a pain in the ass in itself :P).

P.S. I sent out a couple PSN friend requests to a handful of you guys that I could remember off the top of my head, sorry to those I forgot. Not sure though how much you Top 10 guys are still getting bombarded with random friend requests but oh well haha. Will try to add everyone else later or feel free to send a request to me 👍

I have a 2 hour drive tonight so lounge probably won't be open till 9, but I'll have better internet where I'm going so noone should have problems joining :D

Other than the cars you listed, find something for fast and furious night :) We didnt get it last night.

Right now they have done a couple more modifications to both the fd and 86. And they are taking on a track racing group on the streets. The battle involves a an s15 and 350z. And ry's fc got a makeover just like the fd.


Sucks I wont be on tonight due to a local game tournament for street fighter 4 and MC2....I wanted to go around in the challenger screaming I GOT THE ORAAAAANGE one.
