I wont be putting much into this race F'kin hate it

I'll post my pathetic set up if it's requested! but it's nothing special just a tweek here and there

The worst possible scenerio for any aspiring racer hoping to look good in the absence of greatness has just lost their chance at being "relativly fast."

Thats right...

Im reffering to the fact that two very un-enthusiastic racers who are still blazing, have both posted, one after another, just above me. (no names needed)

However, I must say...

Im interested to see those settings Mr. P.

That would help me right about now because I happen to be running an odd set up...

Its yeilding bad times on t2 and ok times at t1... so I would appreciate it.

Oh yea, did I mention I made it into the 46 t2 finally, (which is really bad compared to what I know I will be doing in a day or two)

I also am now putting down consistant t1's in the 21.2 - 21.5 range.

Still off pace though.. and just look at all that time Im lossing, jeez.

I hope i don't start to look like a whining jerk, but i hope next week we don't have another race with a fully-modded car.
I can only speak for myself, but i feel my frustration rise every week after another race with a hard-to-control, slippery beast.

Maybe a arcade car, or a partially tuned car would be a nice alternative after all those BHP monsters.

Just a suggestion.

Ok, OK, Ok, I hear ya's. How many others feel the same way as Mr. Holland does?
Would a arcade car be OK next week. Maybe this will give us a chance to see where we all stand with eachother by using a car that is the exact same for everyone.

of 20.995.(finally) and a T2 . of 47.xxx ,

im NOT trying to lower my T1!!

How the hell anyone can even get below 47 in t2 is beyond me. I tried the car, and while there are worse cars, its combination of understeer and poor grip are too aggravating. I shall skip this round.

Here's my view on things regarding weekly races..

IMO Rob is doing a great job with the race's ..Each week we have someone that does not like the choice's Boom makes (me being one of em ...Astra ) ...And i know you can't please everyone..

The way i see it if i don't like the look of a race i won't run it ..and wait until something more to my liking comes up ..I don't mind one bit ..

We've had peeps moaning about having to win cars ,rally cars ,arcade cars etc.. And each time Rob changes his choice's to suit these peeps but someone else will not like it one way or another..Im not having a go here just an observation

Someone mentioned in one of the earlier threads (Sorry can't remember who it was )
But they suggested..If Rob was going to chose a race car for a race he would announce the car a week early (but not give the track away) so that the peeps who don't have it ..Have a chance to go win it before the race commences..I for one think this is a good idea..

Thoughts of a voting system aswell but i think this would'nt work because not everyone will want the same car ..And were back to square 1..

I can't see anyway that everyone will be happy .. So i think we should just carry on as is..Just my 2 cents

T2, 46.xxx but i span out !

i was about to throw my controller out

lol, im runing constant 47's, and constant 21's , i've hit

20.xxx 3 times and only one that had a fast t2 of 47.xxx

but thats my goal to get a 20.xxx and a 46.xxx then ill think

about catching boom's and i think Mr.P's 45.xxx

Don't drift this car. The less smoke and tire squeel you see and hear the better.
Anticipate the countersteer.

You know what I found that helped out a bit was to run with a ASM of 1.

Not yet took this car for a spin ...Maybe i will get round to it tommorow ...

Despite my ealier whining, my love for this track is enough to make me drive this one again and again. No matter how sucky the car is.


P.S. And don't take my mini-rant from my previous post too serious. I posted it 30 minutes after Ajax lost the quarter final match from AC-Milan with 3-2 in injury time.
So i was a little pissed and very sad.

Ah, so this is where Made in Holland hangs out a lot. Been checking him out a little as I'll be meeting him in the flesh this Sunday in a six player iLink battle. From what I've seen him do here, I see he'll probably kick my arse ... Guess my strategy is going to be slipstreaming behind him, learn a trick or two from him, and then zoom past him before the finishline in the last lap.

In the meantime, I might give Race #10 a shot just for fun, as I'm off this weekend anyway, and (like Made it seems) I know DF2 like the back of my hand. But then I suck at setting up, so let's see what happens.

I did'nt take what you said too seriously..It was just a observation on all the various post's since the races started ..And not a dig at you personally ma man

Oh yeah, it says I have to register and originally the entrance also required a lap at MF in the Arcade Evo VII. I still have one lying around from a little challenge a few weeks ago; wasn't good enough to beat Mr.P there (1.23.474), but it wasn't too far off: 1.23.666. Is that good enough or should I try improving that?

sidenote : I struggle with the 1st bend my only bad section here , the rest of the lap is plain sailing ...
whereas ! Kelly blasts through the 1st bend with ease and struggles afterwards

The first turn is extremely high speed and requires very fast reflexes and great timing. So if you lay low on the beer you'll catch up.
