well i THINK ive found the car i wanna use...who knows, ive still got alotta testing to do, but in this particular car so far ive managed to pull a clean 25.0/46.5 w/ only barely 30 miles on the car yet. Hell i might i might just stick w/ this one anyways just cuz i love driving the car so much, but who knows, if i find somthing considerably better i'll go w/ that one

My impressions so far.. after 10-minute testing a lot of cars, japanese, american and english I think that I have made my choice. The 10-minute session with that car became longer and longer until after 300kms I ended up with clean T2 mid-45:s.
At first I got surprised that I could go around the track faster with sports-suspension and racing muffler than with semi-racing suspension and sports muffler, but the extra few horsepower gained was not so important. The big difference was that the power-band of the engine was moved up on higher revs so it suited red-line shifting better. It made up the loss of grip and shaved the lap-time with ~0.5 sec.
What tires are you running? I'm using T7:s, have tried T8:s but I cant find them worth that 12.000 extra.

I thought the zo6 was the car to go with, until I found a car with about 100 less hp that can still kicks the zo6 butt.
Just goes to show, you have to test every car.

Had an extensive testing session of loads of different cars i think i've got my ride..
Best save T2 46.2 but have been as low as 45.7 with only 23k's on the clock ..
Im gonna keep the set simple as i can. Just get in and go and hope for the best..

Well with a virgin car, got a best clean lap on the second try of
T1 25.14
T2 47.51
I see a ton of improvement in the car I choose. It boiled down to three cars for me, but I think I made the right decision. I think I'll be testing out all these vehicles all week. I do enjoy this setup though. I don't know how much competition I will bring to the table being this has been the first weekly series race I am able to join due to a memory card being fried, but I am back to a point in the game where I should be able to join in and race again.
After the limited setups I was able to do an 15 laps I am now at a
T1 24.52
T2 46.44
I see more improvement with my car too. Now if I can only get donated maybe some T8s or a full suspension - 707

i tested around 15 cars and found the perfect one best splits so far
T1 22.7

thats after about 300km of racing i tuned it up so i had enuff for an oil change

Only 31 miles on the clock with this car so far, so there's a bit more time to come off.
I must admit that I'm very interested in what cars everyone is driving. I've gone through just about every strategy possible. I think that I might stick with this car but I'm not to sure, she's very drifty.
Need to go hang out in the drifters forum to pick up some pointers. I think that I've tested about 5 different cars so far, how many have the rest of you tested?

I've tried 6 cars, though some of them were quicky tests as they were woefully slow.

I'm also interested in what cars are being used , I tried out 2 cars last night ...the one with the most grunt handled like $hit
The other one I tried I quite like ...it's cheap, I was able to buy lots for it including T8's! it's fast but not fast enough and handles very nicely! T2's of 48.5 though so it's obviously not the right car ...back to the drawing board tonight .

Im not into this whole secret's act we are all in this together.
@Boom i,ve tested 20 or so cars even though i said i might have my ride im starting to have doubts on this one (too much mucking about and not enough actual racing)..Plus the fact that i have messed my car up and bought 2 parts that can't be changed and im totaly regreting it now that now means that i will have to ethier go and buy the same car again tune it and then run it in again or start all over again..a prospect i don't find very appealing..were now half way through the race..
But i don't have any quams about revealing my setup if you want it just ask

I,ve decided that as soon as i boot up my PS2 im going to disclose my car and exact Mods that i,ve used..(The car Z06..) no surprise there.. 
In the hope that it will benifit someone ..
Back with the mods later

Nope I never tried the S2000 
For what it's worth I tried out the Viper GTS and the Camero SS the Camaro was the best of the 2 and a bargain price of 29.530cr quite a fast little machine! and I might just go back to it and make some more adjustments.
I had every intention of trying out the Z06 tonight and might still do that! considering these sectors being posted, cheers Pedro for letting that one out
