Well Im out for the time being.

My ps2 will no longer read any blue backed disc. All Im getting is "disc read error" and sales pitches from the electronics store.

Sooo.... no racey for me.

Back when I get the chance or once I have solved the problem some how.

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that I got my first 15.4 just 20 minutes before the discovery of my problem.

Wasn't a clean save or anything, but it did serve as an indincator of where I would be tomorrow night.
 
Hey Kent, I think that miata has some instructions on how to increase the voltage of the laser in your PS2. That should fix your problem I would think.

However, I broke my last PS2 by trying to do that. :odd:
Well, not really odd I suppose as I am a bumbling idiot when it comes to electronics.

I have submitted my time to boom i wont have any time tonight
to submit

Hope that we have next weeks race forward course
as i hate reverse course's:cool:

The $20 Greatest Hits version has a standard silver-backed color. That may work for ya 👍
 
ran a few more laps last night, down to 15.3xx/49.6xx. Hopefully I can improve a bit more tonight.:rolleyes:

I've had abit more prac today :) first 48.9 but no clean lap i watched the time and crashed ::banghead:

Ran a few more 49.1 though so i think i should be down near your time by the end of tonight :)

Best clen is still 15.6/49.2

I think i will be able to get a clean lap in with a 48.9 or better, back later with more updates.

I question is cleanliness after seeing the below at GT3 times:

1 Taf Tommykaira 2000 ZZ-II 956 MT 4WD 3/8/03 8:49 AM Other wheel 1:15.969


TAF is FAST and LEGIT,..... a full second faster than him would be smokin.

Verified lap at racing-line... hmmm. SOmethin tells me people at racing-line will be asking for a replay.
 
Dont you have to send in a replay to prove your lap time, whether its GT3Times or Racing Line?
 
You don't have to send a replay but you better save your submitted time because if someone asks for verification you have to prove it. I believe CFM. Look at how many of these weekly races he has done. I ran a 1'16.2 with a slight brush earlier today so it is possible. Can't someone be faster than Taf?:rolleyes: This was with the bigger turbo,BTW.:lol:
 
That 1'16.2 better of been with the 900 hp version :cool: :cool:

Ive finished for this week. Should of been able to pull something atleast a few tenths faster but i just cant put it together :banghead:

Anyway im gonna put a bigger turbo on mine and see what i can do with that record on racing-line.

And i also believe CFM, why would he ruin his good reputation?
 
That time is with a stage 2 turbo... We are using stage 1 and I get under 1:20 so I could see it...

btw my latest clean save T's are 15.6 and 50.6

I don't will give it another go, but I don't think I'm going to get much better than that...

It's been fun pushing it!
 
Yes thats true. Once again 👍 CFM. I havent tried improving my time since Saturday... I know a 15.0 / 48.4 is possible. But getting that low is near impossible!... hehe. I think I will end up sticking with my 15.3/49.2 but I still got about 8 hours til midnight. So Im undecided whether to keep trying or not :confused:

Maybe Taf had a **** setup and he didnt realise it. My clean time with my own setup is more than 2 seconds slower than my clean time with Boom's setup with minor mods.

Edit: Maybe CFM is just as good as Taf?? Or better with this seattle II / ZZII combo??

Just wanted to clarify that I wasn't saying I don't believe anyone. I was merely pointing out that racing-line likes to ask for verification, and as GT3mich said, if he has the replay saved, he could provide enough details about the lap without having to send a replay.
 
Damn all,... lol,. I didnt start this, just was making a point. :lol:

A - TAF wont submit a time unless he's very proud of it,...

B - I can garuntee it's not a crappy set-up because the man is one of many GT gods roaming the OLR community. (god I cant believe Im sticking up for the French here :rolleyes: )

C- The question time here is the 1'14,... not TAF's 15,... I'm sure TAF's time can be beaten,... but with a 14? When TAF already had to beat quality drivers who had low 16's,... I just dont buy the 14,... right now.
 
I think its possible. I mean Im not that far off the 1'15.9 with the Stage 1. Im sure I can put in a low 1'15 with the Stage 2 turbo, and so can you RER. And many other racers here. Records are made to be broken. Although 1 second is alot... sometimes it just goes to show that the times can be improved much more... but you can only find out when someone else does it.
 
100% true,.. it's just so much easier to take a pesimistic approach when you see virtual no-name drivers pounding GT's elite. I havent tried this,.. only 5 laps so far with stage 1,.. so, I definately could be wrong.
 
Actually, what I ment was, for Racing-Line times, I save ALL my replays just in case someone has a problem or wants proof of my run. Then It gets sent off to Pedro or Slowpoke for review.
As for the 1'16.2 time that zer0h mentioned, that time was not submitted because it had a slight wall brush. I only submit clean runs. I also submit for green ticks if they are top five times. Thier time is as valuable as mine.
You can check the DB to see what I did submit if you want. I think I'm done with this race. Its not one of my best tracks and I think I've got everything I can out of it.

What does the green tick mean? Its been approved? I might start submitting a whole bunch of F094/S times. So i dont know yet how the whole thing works. Ill find out when i got some time.
 
Just couldn't keep that last setor good tonight.. multiple 48.9 but no good last sector. :(

48.4 T2 is possible and maybe even lower but i aint gonna get near that.

And to the subject about CFM's time, do you not think 200 hp would give you 2 seconds? especially on a track with such big straights. After 3 laps of messing with the turbo 2 installed i ran 1.5 seconds off Taf

Lots of new drivers here,Welcome people!
I just got back from Cape Cod,and have about 6 hours to get a time.I think you can safely put me @ the bottom of the sheet,Jpec,my clean save is 5 days old,and I have to get back into the flow of things.I needed the break,and am ready to get back to business.I will post T times later tonite.(Not that they will be shockingly awesome,or anything)

@CFM:Excellent time,man!
