Let me tell you about that last turn.
This situation is the most aggrevating thing in the world.
Not when you can't do the turn right, but when you did it perfectly on a crappy lap.
You see, I will pull an average lap all the way across.
Then I will pull that final turn perfectly and make a good time out of a crappy lap.
Then it comes time to follow that ghost.
so I will constantly put down a great lap, then it comes time to make that final turn...
Guess what, I make it in an average style and the ghost does it perfectly... hence, I get passed by a rocketship with a serious case of turbo lag.
After a lap of crap racing, that ghost explodes with power and speed, always making me look the fool.
Of course that doesnt happen to me too much now that I am putting down those 46's.
But I gotta say, when you are putting down 46's every time, then you put down a 47 that beats the 46 and you have to catch that perfect turn... Man you get pissed.
But at this point my troubles have ended for the most part simply because I put down that 46.5 and a good second half.
although I will admit, Im going back on my word and I am going to continue working on this race for the next day.
I figure I just might be able to do that perfect second half with a low 46, ending in a perfect race for me.
Of course, I doubt I will have time in between work and homework.
We'll see...
Oh yea, dude worried about understeer...
try the braking thing mentioned earlier or try setting your brake balancer higher in the back than front.
I put a thread in the tuning section about my theory on why this would make a difference.
good luck and remember to brake early.
Hope you can work something out.
And about that 90 degree turn after the double lefts...
I can take that all the way through in third with the settings I use and with a soft rear end, usually you can cut a bit onto the strip making an even better line.
This was another turn that I found myself doing perfectly on bad laps and making good times...
