personally i watch the times as they pop up and if i need to i pause it to make sure of what they are :)

probably why im in Div 3

no race cars jeez, I was using the reno clio sports race car. oh well i know another car to use

well im got 3 cars in mind

RUF 3400's
Reno Clio (non race one)
and NSX

What cars do you guys have in mind now that BOOM decides to change the rules about race cars, all that time i spent (1 hour) oh well

I knew you were using the Clio ;) it has a very great handling...

well the cars I have in mind are that Ruf 3400S and the Lotus Esprit V8, originally its p/w is 3.8 or something...but it's good on straightaways and handling is kinda tough, but the ones that know how to make mods to cars can take advantage of that one, well I'm just giving some ideas.

p/w ratio limit is gonna make this an interesting choice. I'm leaving school in an hour and a half, so I should be able to get a good amount of racing in today (half say, but I have to stay after for Band). Hopefully I'll be able to find a good car to run this week with, There's alot of promise, but I'm not sure about that p/w ratio limit (3.75, dang that limits speed. Heavy cars fit this week, and most of the Muscle cars have been ruled out :(.

Alriiiiiiiiight, i wasnt going to say anything, but i will, one car is obvious and mentioned earlier, the Nissan Skyline GTR Vspec II, it has decent handling and the breaking is really good, the back end slides out alot though. (under steer or oversteer? lol cant remember which) then there is the NSX not Honda NSX but the Acura NSX, i say that cause the PTWR starts off higher on the Acura NSX = more hp:P . Then there is the RUF 3400S, extremely good handling and there is the Lotus esprit SPORT 350, good speed, i think the fastest on the straight away out the bunch. As of now the Lotus is my car of choice.

I made a really nice run with a sleeper car I found, 401bhp, and I have a sick setup on it. I'm not giving it away tho, and I pulled these times in 10 laps:
T1: 0'16.553
T2: 1'01.269
T3: 1'26.554

I know, I just caught myself, but I'm hoping that I'll b e able to catch up nad pass that time, even on T5s

Not a chance. It looks like I'm gonna have to get out of the Supra and into something a bit faster...

ahha to bad jpec that was a good time. Ive gotten a great time with the 3400s

16.418
1.01.341
1.26.865

and well the total lap is .8 seconds faster than the racing clio. I belive i can crack a big time barreir 2min....... oops

hehe, Small_Fryz me and you are pretty close you got the better handling and are taking me in the beginning of the course where all the turns are but towards the end i think i might have you beat, this is intense, I LIKE IT!:mischievous: :mischievous:

16.831
1'01.649
1'26.799

let me guess you got the lotus Espirit.
I will beat you
Tim Allen laugh "ah ah ah ah"

You do know that the minimum displacement is 2500cc, right? Cause I'm pretty sure that a couple of the cars you're using are out of the range of 2500-3500...

Just setup a car and my first ever session for this race.

Looks positive.

Well balanced car for the course, alright power and a good starting time. So far times are...

16.6->1.01.3->1.27.0

I am sure with a little work those can come down. I just might get a time in this week considering I finished my diablo race and actually have enjoyed what I did for this earlier... sooo... I guess we will see what I do when the time comes... till then.

And im pretty sure you are wrong, cause im using the Esprit SPORT 350, which *IS* in the range of 2500-3500, it has 345hp completely stock except for suspension mods and drivetrain mods and then of course T5 tires, oh and of course the hp is up cause of miles added to the vehicle.

Edit: Please next time, dont try to insult my intelligence, let alone common sense, thanks.;)

And for the first car i was using, Nissan Skyline GTR R34 Vspec II i had 382hp, 2568cc and PTWR of 3.795.

I found some more cars that can be great competition, all comes down to your preference and driving style.

Audi S4
Mazda RX-7 Type RZ

when the tail slides out, that's oversteer

ooo! thanks for the suggestion! I think I might just do this challenge

too bad I got a stupid final this friday..>_<

The RX-7 has a 1300cc engine and is not eligible.

im hoping to get some time in this arfternoon, So watch out GBR

I was just....ummmmmmm.........testing you all, yeah thats it, yeah i was testing to see if anyone would catch that.

:embarrassed: Silly 1.3litered rotarys :embarrassed:

Michael, thanks for looking out.

Nice sectors, GoKents.

Here's my initial times in a shiny red NSX:

T1: 17.2
T2: 1:02.3
T3: 1:28.3

I saw as low as a 16.9 T1, but the NSX seems pretty slippery. This track is really technical, gotta concentrate on getting a clean exit from the corners.

I also tried a Skyline, which seemed to have a lot more grip that the NSX. I'll have to give it a little more effort in the Skyline, and see if I can't get it to be competitive.

i dont konw what i was on when i posted those last times as i am unable to repeat, let alone beat them :(, I will try tonight when there is no glare on the TV :)
