Weird, Unexplained Occurances that have happened to you

Some years ago I was driving on the highway. I passed a car, which was very noticeable, eyecatching. Half minute later, I took the exit to get on another highway and when I barely got on this highway, I passed that car again. :scared:

I'm 100% sure that this car didn't pass me before I saw it for the second time on the other highway. I'm still wondering how this car got there before me. And there was no other exit than the one I took.

In 1994 I have had two strange experiences during the night.

* One night while I was sleeping, I heard a voice. I really heard that voice like some-one was talking to me but I didn't hear it in the conventional way. It's hard to explain. There was no actual sound.

This voice was coming from the left hand side (at the end) of my bed. I woke up, sat up in my bed was there wasn't anybody I could physically see and still I could describe this "thing" that woke me up.

This "thing" said to me:
"thing"
Chris wake up and tell me what you see.
.

Like I said, I woke up, I sat up in bed, looked at the right hand side of my bed (at the end of my bed) and I saw a big energetic, aura like light. It was big and egg like shaped. There were two neon tube like energetic (vertically) lights inside this egg shaped light.

I didn't say what I was seeing, lay down and fell a sleep again. I still regret until today that I didn't asnwer the question.

* Also in 1994 and also during the night. When I was sleeping I also woke up during the night and felt a female pressence (joke all you want :P) next to me lying in my bed. I could feel this pressence when I touch it.
I remember I got out of my bed and while standing next to my bed I saw the shape of a person lying on his/her side in a kind of fetus position but there was no head coming from under the bed sheet. <<<<< forgot to mention this, so I edited this post.

I went back to bed, hold this "thing" like it was my girl friend and it started talking to me exactly as the "thing" in my previous occurance.

It said:
pressence in my bed
Chris I have to go and leave you.

I said:
chris
or something like that. And I felt the shape going away, like a ballon deflates.

Never found out what it was. My mother died a few years before this happened.

This happened before 1994 and I was still verrrrrryyyyy young.

* One day I was going from my friends room to his living room when I saw in the hall way, right in front of me, a holographic face of somebody floating in mid air. This face was clearly in agony. When I came into the living room, I told my friend's father what just happened.
He said that the face I described looked a lot like an acquintance of him, whom was dying from cancer. A few days later, this person died.

That's it, I have other things that happened to me but I'm not going to bother you with it.

I felt sad because this "thing" said that it had to go. If you experience the same thing I did, you definitely would not freak out either. It was a nice experience.

I felt a lot of looooovvveeee coming from this, (let's call it an), entity. And it was definitely female (I think).

So i was in the customers house and i had left the blowlamp in the van so i kind of jogged out the front of the house and i got taken out by a washing line which wasnt there when i went in o.O

An odd, small one.

My in-laws were round for Sunday dinner. We got to dessert and I went to fetch the pastry forks out of the cutlery drawer. I picked up all six, walked the three paces to the table and put down five forks. The sixth had, seemingly, vanished into thin air. I've since since searched the kitchen and it's just not there. Weird.

Things like that are always happening to me im always losing a roll of ptfe tape or slicies its crazy ive lost so many tools

I get deja vu seemingly all the time. I'd say maybe once or twice a week, maybe more.

Don't know how that stacks up against everyone else :nervous:

I get that feeling regularly as well.

One mystery of my childhood, whenever I'd fall asleep somewhere in the house during the day, I'd wake up at night, in my bed. Sorcery. :dopey:

This happens to my family and I quite often, actually. It's pretty annoying. :P There are several places we'll refer to as "black holes" because they seemingly just make things we put in them vanish. My mom's car is one of them; we've put so many things in the trunk only to find them vanished when we look for them (and nobody's been in the car). There are plenty of small office items that were on the desk in front of me when I briefly turned away to get something behind me or something, and when I turn back around to grab the pencil or whatever it is it's nowhere to be found. Not on the desk or the floor.

I also seem to ignore the laws of gravity and physics quite often. I'll accidentally lightly drop a pencil or something just right next to me and when I look to get it it's on the other side of the room.

So... you've talked to "dead people" :scared:? I do believe in the possibility of it but, I haven't tried it. If it happens to me, I would, as KingJosh said, "freak out" (- and get my camera). That's the only thing I regret from my UFO sighting; not having a camera.

That used to happen to me when I was around 5-6 years old. It was weird, but my mom told me I sleepwalked. 👎👎👎

EDIT: I forgot I posted...>.<

I had a dream about GT6. It looked very similar. The only difference I saw was the old 350Z UCD with "GT Marketplace" on it. I also saw a "Livery Shop". I had not seen a UCD. :) I guess I might be hacking into Kazunori's mind...

I'm gonna have nightmares now. :( Quite interesting story, kikie.

I'm a huge believer in the paranormal, ghosts more specifically. I do believe there are different types of hauntings and spirits. I believe legit ghost sightings happen, but they're probably as rare as being struck by lightning. You might not even realize what you've seen when they do occur.

Sightings could be as intense as a solo encounter with an aparation in your very own room, or as subtle as walking down a bustling city street and walking right by a ghost whom you would've thought was just another person in a crowd. I'm both intrigued and horrified by the paranormal.

Two things really stand out in my childhood and they're pretty weird.

As a child, I thought my family's first house was haunted. There was weird energy throughout it, like someone was always watching you. I remember I'd be playing with my toys, but I wouldn't be fully engaged and sudddenly I'd stop playing and just look around. I remember there being a huge hole in my closet, it appeared to be filled with spiders! To this day, a lot of my nightmares or just strange dreams take place in that house.

The first event took place in broad daylight. We were all in the kitchen at the time, Mom had just made lunch and I was given the first plate. I was super young, it was one of my earliest memories. Mom and my older Sister were distracted preparing their plates when I saw it. It went from one room (my sisters room) down the hall out of sight. The best way to describe it was it looked like a female disfigured burn victim. It didn't make any noise at all or move anything as it appeared, but it occurred in a flash.

The next encounter would happen a couple years later. We had moved across the neighborhood to my Stepdad's house. When we moved in with my Stepdad, he lived a little different life than us. We were super frugal for a few years, but we'd always keep the lights off when we're not in a particular room. For some reason, I was going to use my parents bathroom (which was attached to their room) to take a shower. It was the furthest and most secluded room in the house. Mom, Dad, and Sister were all watching TV in the living room.

I didn't think anything about dark rooms back then, but this event changed that. As I opened the door to the bathroom I heard something move in it, like someone was in there but everyone was accounted for in the living room plus the bathroom was dark as was my parents' room. As the door opened all the way, I could only make out the sillouette of something standing up and it was tall looking straight at me. I had accidentally flipped on the bathroom fan instead of the light but the sight of the figure was so horrifying to me that I had fallen backwards and scrambled my way back to the living room, screaming the whole way! Dad jumped into action and rushed back there, but saw nothing.

Also, more recently (like a few months ago) I had this really weird dream. To this day, I can't hardly remember what it was about but the name CLAY DAYTON stood out. Different figures of the dream would say it, not at once but throughout the dream. Then I woke up with this name freshly in my memory; Clay Dayton. I did a google search which turned up nothing. lol.

Little story.

Many, many years ago, a few friends of mine were going on holiday with their 50cc motorbikes (Honda SS, Honda MT, Honda MB etc...).

A few days before they left, I told one of them not to go because he was going to be home sooner than his friends because (and this I can't remember exactly but I think I said that they were going to have a argument amongs each other) he was going to have a small accident and there would be damage to his motorbike (moped). I described the damage and it happened exactly as I told him.

He had an accident. His bike was damaged were I told him and he had an argument with his friends. Aaand he came home early.

I was really suprised to hear that everything happened as I told him. I couldn't believe it myself.
This was not tho only time I said something would happen and it did.

I have yet to predict the winning lottery numbers. :P

I'm not sure if this counts as a weird occurrence but here goes:

I was on holiday in Toronto in June 2006 when one day, I discovered that the NYY symbol on my baseball cap stood for the New York Yankees. I later discovered that the Toronto Blue Jays team were playing at home to the Yankees in the Rogers Centre, and I was still walking around with my Yankees hat on. When the BlueJays lost, I kept wondering whether any Blue Jays fans leaving the game were going to stop me and ask if I was a Yankees fan, but I know almost nothing about baseball.

I feel largely the same way. My mother and I are very interested in this kind of stuff, so growing up we would always watch those kinds of shows out of curiosity.

I personally never knew what to believe until we went to the Winchester Mystery House, which my mother grew up less than 10 minutes away from. It was at the very beginning of a guided tour with a group of maybe 15-20, and we had been waiting in a courtyard in between the house and the visitor center/gift shop. When it was our turn, we went into the first room where we got an overview of the tour, the history, and blah.

After a few minutes, I looked randomly through the two large glass doors looking back into the courtyard we had gone through, and for a brief second, I saw a man running from left to right (towards the ball room, I believe, which was also accessible from the courtyard). He was wearing what could be best described as period-correct attire (construction started in the late 19th century) and he was carrying what looked like a wooden tray under his arm. And he was hauling ass. Like, it was Sarah Winchester herself just passed out and you have to get to her NOW! - kind of fast. After he disappeared, I looked for a while and noticed that not a single person in that courtyard had reacted to it. There were another 30-40 people in there, and he had run right behind a family of 4 sitting on a bench. Nobody even flinched.

I was thinking of telling my mom about what I just saw, but as I turned to her, I decided it was best to tell her afterwards when we were alone. So I looked back out there in disbelief, only to see another guy running the same path. It was clearly a different man with different clothes, but the same period-correct attire and everything. It seemed like he was running even faster, as he was clinching his hat with one arm so it didn't blow off. He also had some small, square piece of wood under his arm. And again, no reaction from anyone outside.

At this point, the tour moved on, and afterwards I asked the guide if there were any actors on site that would do that. She lol'd and said there were none.

Fast-forward a few years and I'm flipping through the channels, when I landed on a channel that had an old, unlabeled photograph of a group of men. I thought "Oh neat, a historical doc- HOLY 🤬!!!!!!!!!!", because I was able to identify almost instantly the two men I saw that day, standing next to each other. They even had the same hats on. Only after I recognized the men did I learn I was in fact watching a documentary on the house.

Chills down my spine, sweaty palms, wide eyes, a bit of tinkle down my pants - everything. Nothing paranormal has ever had that kind of effect on me.

So yeah. I'm trying to find that exact photo so I can point them out again but no luck.

TL;DR LOL: I went to the Winchester Mystery House, saw two men in period-correct attire sprinting through a courtyard filled with people, nobody else noticed, years later I stumble upon a random photo on TV, immediately recognize the men I saw, wet myself, and I'm drinking so pardon my sentence structure and post length because I can't summarize very well when there's a beer at my side.

I must get off this thread for at least 2 weeks! :scared:

This must have occurred 10 years ago and I'm pretty sure I haven't posted about it here, but one night I woke up to the sound of cats fighting across the street from my house. I didn't bother checking what was really going on until the sounds became more disturbing. When I looked out, all I could see was what looked like the front half a cat crawling across the small patch of grass on the other side of the street towards the house.

I had no idea what could have happened to it, since there were no cars going past at the time and couldn't have hit the thing. I couldn't see any evidence of a second cat there either, but I could hear what sounded like two furballs going at it for almost a minute before looking outside. Once I told mum to take a look a few moments later, it had vanished along with the sounds.

It was probably one of those mysterious cat battles that happen late at night, often they are rather loud, and over quickly. My cat used to come home with broken bones, cuts, scars etc in the morning. Sometimes, cats used to just disappear from the area altogether. I don't know what cats do at night exactly, besides lick their balls, but they can get into some strange situations.

I know. I hear such fights going on out near the street every now and again which can often sound barbarous.

But if this cat fight actually happened and wasn't just me seeing things, then one of them must have brought an axe to the party to deal damage like that. :ill:

Something probably attacked it and ate it.

That, or someone in your neighbourhood really hates cats.

The only real possibility in terms of predators over here would be a fox. But I doubt one could break up a cat fight, lop off the back half of one cat, then leave the front half to escape and vanish in the blink of an eye. There wasn't much cover nearby either.

As for the elusive British big cats, I know there have been sightings in the local area in the past. But it's still very unlikely that one was involved.

There's probably a fair few who share that sentiment around here.

I've not posted for some time on the rumble strip, this this thread seems a good place to start again, interesting idea slash.

When I was about 11 or 12 one night there was the sound of a man screaming coming from outside the front of our house when I looked I couldn't see anyone, my sister (twin, had also woken up from it and ran to shout for my dad brcause she was so scared by it, he couldn't see anything either do we went back to sleep.
The sound stuck with me all through the day and again at night we heard the sound but from the back of the house and when we looked we still couldn see anyone, weirdly again it was only myself and my sister that could hear it and neither of our parents. I don't know if it was a child thing or a twin thing but for some reason I genuinely believed it to be freddy Kruger:lol:

And yes it'd be easy to say perhaps there was some nut just shouting at our house but the fact we couldn't see anyone in a brightly lit street on both occasions kinda makes me think otherwise.
