It really is! Those neon colours are my favorites so far.
Here's the other yellow one. Looks great on those new Racecar versions

How did you manage to paint the rims in the same color as the body? did you buy the DLC paints twice?

I don't think they're exactly the same, regardless that looks amazing, reminds me of an older Group A car, especially with those rims.

^ I'm not sure of the exact name to be honest. It is not a DLC paint colour.
It is a standard metallic blue (it may just be called blue!), I'll look when I get home tonight and let you know.

This might be a dumb question but do you get the cars in your garage when you download the dlc? Or do you have to buy them?

You pay at the PSN Store and then go back to the game and in the new button for DLC content (inGT5 start menu) you will see all the stuff that you purchased and click to activate on each. The cars appear in the "Truck" as tickets, the paint goes directly to the paints section, the same with the rest.

The colour-shift paint doesn't change, it's the black around it that is paintable... tried it with white earlier (didn't save) and it looked rubbish...

I wanted the colour-shift paint to change so I could make it look like the FIA GT GTR...

I really do not except the rear spoiler and the rear fan is something else I do not see many differences

im not sure if it is just me but it looks like the aero behind the front tire is longer on the x2011

The X2011 looks lower, there's a noticeable difference on the bull logo and the obvious Bridgestone-Pirelli logos. The color of the GT logo as well.
