at daytona i'm doing a 1.42.337 caine doing a 1.42.425 i see a 1 2 finish so far

Oh and what pit exit are we using? Exit into turn 1, or the inside lane which exits just after the small chicane?

if it was up too me i go with inside lane that way no one will be crashing in to the guys in turn 1

that's what I'm thinking too

I have put in the next event information to just exit the pits with a lot of care and use the t1 exit. It is possible to exit there and not get in the way of cars coming into t1 at racing speed as long as we are all careful. If there are incidents then we will switch for the main event 👍

Very happy to see times so close
with the exception of IWIN (super fast) and a few guys that arrived later than everyone else and didn't get a proper lap in (Sig and Jazza) and the MP4 all the times are split by 9 tenths

Due to GT planet changes and updates the picture feature is to be stopped so all the pictures on the thread may disappear at some point

Hey Johnboy the mp4 is 8teenths faster a Daytona then every other car the mp4 is the fastest car but hardest to drive I know cause I've tested it of you can control the mp4 except for Suzuka and Laguna and Monte Carlo it's the fastest car on every other track in the series but you have done 8 seasons of testing right you must really know the pp system right

Another disconnect for me

It's not because of the host or anyone in the room it is because my router keeps losing sync, which occurs more frequently at peak internet usage times. I am hopefully getting a solution to this problem soon so I should be fully connected and racing ready for the start of the season.

Anyways I am happy to report the Lambo was definitely competitive at Daytona 👍

Oh and what is the correct wing to be using for it? You mention the stated type A was incorrect.

Sorry guys for quitting, but I couldn´t drive anymore. I hope you accept it, at least it was just testing.... Unfortunately I can´t race with you next week, because I´m driving a 24hour race here at the Nurburgring (on MTB).

at least one of us took the challenge to IWIN hey Well, not that people needed telling but the Viper is fast at Daytona! Ended up last (again) on the first lap, this one was kinda not my fault though, Iwin hit Sig, sig ran wide, and I had to go round the outside of him to avoid him, which made me run wide, and outbrake myself. But it was the best race I've ever done, literally treated every lap like a quali lap! Had so much fun chasing the pack, and seeing the gap to the leader come down.

Iwin, what happened in your pitstop? You lost about 10 seconds to me in the stop alone?? The last stint was the best, seeing Iwin getting closer and closer, but on the penultimate lap I messed it up, saw Iwin get sideways so I floored it trying to get the run on him, only to end up sideways myself! Still, a close finish for an hour race, and so much fun!

I think again most of us made mistakes early on in the race
but the rest of the time I think we were all keeping a good pace with IWIN but you were faster than that, which is good because you will struggle at the more twisty tracks



Very good testing tonight guys and thanks again to all that attended

All the cars were much closer at Daytona
1st weekend is just showing that IWIN has done a very very good job with balancing the cars
Only thing that it seems needs looking at is Taunters set up on his McLaren as I know if it is set up right is capable of being the quickest car at Daytona 👍
IWIN said to me that he will get together with you in the week and see if he can help you click the setup if not then you can always change car anytime until after the last test (23/09) 👍

Yeah Caine put a bit to much fuel in and it cost me about 10 more seconds in the pits so I could only get a 141.9 at Daytona but it was not setup for Daytona so that would not be my quickest but still did the job I knew you were going to catch me but kept cruising saving my tyres for a fight on the last lap but it was not to be you got a bit loose out of 1 of the corners and you got sideways and lost it but still it was good come back hats of to jammy he was hanging with me for awhile to but pitted early but once again guys just too many mistakes 👎 but it's just preseason so don't matter to much but thanks to all who attended again hope to see you next week
