I think it would be silly to use a new car anyway. Until it's run in properly they always punch well below their weight, or hp in this case. And when you do reach full break in the power drops like a brick. I think you would actually be worse off doing that?
Maybe make sure everyone knows once you're spec checked into the pit lane for qually you are not allowed to leave again. I saw someone, who shall remain nameless, going back out into the tuning menu during qually. I'm sure it was only for gearing or wing but it's not the point.
Anybody that knows the game knows this you will loss about 8pp at the end of a 2 hour race with a full run in car but with a car that starts not run in yes will be slightly slower put after about 20 min of racing it gets the advantage cause it starts to run in so just say you have a car with 590pp you will gain about 5 to 7pp depending on which car but at the end of 2 hours you will drop about 5pp so your back at 590pp anyway but a car that was run before the race starting at 590pp will actually loose about 8pp so that means that I'm on 582pp and the not run in car will still have a 8pp advantage by the end of 2 hours
