So just a massive carb dump then?

Is there any reason for this? Have you been told to do this medically?

Don’t you think maybe this is why you go and binge of other foods like 3 bags of crackers etc.?

If you ate a balanced meal you’d feel more satisfied and also be getting somthing useful your body needs?

When you eat pasta again. Try this simple recipie.

Ingredients

Pine nuts - 100g
Basil - 25g per portion
Parmesan Cheese - 30g
Olive Oil - 100ml
Garlic Clove
Tagliatelle
Salt & Pepper to taste

Method

First you’ll need to make your Pesto. Put your pine nuts into a food processor and blitz until it starts to clump together around the edges of your blade.

Next put in your olive oil along with 1 portion of basil leaves (no stalks or flower heads) and pulse your food processor until the mix is combined. Now add your second portion of basil leaves and pulse again. Ensure everything is combined.

Now add your Parmesan cheese, again pulsing your mix until combined. Lastly peel and slice your clove of garlic. Ensure the hard base of the clove along with any blemished parts are removed. Slice into 2 or 3 big pieces. Add the clove to the mix and pulse until there is no large bits of garlic.

Heat a pan of salted water until boiling. Put in your tagliatelle and cook until your preferred pasta consistency. Now you can drain most of the water leaving a small amount in the bottom of the hot pan and this will give you a light sauce. You can also drain all your water for a cleaner dish.

Add 2 to 3 table spoons of pesto to the pasta still in the hot pan and mix gently, keep mixing and allow the pesto to lighten in colour and emulsify.

Once all your pasta is covered plate up onto warm plates into a nest and top with, cherry tomatoes, basil leaves and some more Parmesan.

You can store the pesto in a jar inside your fridge and use when needed or make ahead of a meal to keep prep time down to just pasta.
Why is the mouth watering, Precious?

Started the smoker up at 5am for a pork butt.

Tonight for dinner, we had some grilled chicken breast and French Fries. We told the restaurant we wanted our meat well done, we never eat chicken that's pink. Anyways they did a great job fixing the fries. They were golden yellow and crispy. We're slam full.

For dinner, we had Mexican day. We had tacos and avocado salad. There were meat and chicken taco fillings. There was also bean salad and lots of hot sauce. But since Mexicans had a lot of alcohol in their drinks, the drinks were eliminated from the menu.
