I give JV at least one more season after this one before he realises that he aint no good any more.

Wilson too bought his drive but has proven himself, to criticise him for running so far down is wrong when he's in a Minardi! And you've clearly ignore his amazing first lap runs this season where he's gained 5 or 6 positions! Now he's been rewarded with a Jaguar drive for the rest of the season it'll be yet another Brit finishing ahead of JV!

you reckon? this might be his last IMO and on the topic of JV, what about him almost taking Button out when he sliced across Jenson? this man is desperate to do something like that, reminded me of the pitstop he took in Melbourne...
Apart from that IRISH lunitic running down Hanger straight, I thought it was one of the best races of the year, plenty of passing, utter confusion after the pitstops, Rubens passing Kimi, twice, Michael fighting his way back from 15th back to 4th, JPM attacking anything that was close to him, this race had it all
Rubens fully deserved this win, JPM his 3rd consecutive 2nd place and the Crackster, er i mean Kimi lucky to finish in 3rd place

Firman clearly bought his drive, but has the credentials being the reigning Formula Nippon champ.

Yeah, but watching Firman is a scary experience. He always seems to be looking for an exciting new place at which to hurl the car.

He is one of those drivers as you drive by them, you are twitching the whole way by because you don't know what could happen.

Another one of them being Jack Villeneuve

Although Wilson did buy his drive, I would point out that he did win the 2001 Formula 3000 championship.
Although this puts amongst such revered company as Luca Badoer, Jean-Christophe Boullion, Vincenzo Sospiri and Jörg Muller, it does at least indicate he has some potential.

I should have mentioned that he won the F3000 crown (beating Webber in the process). This however seems to have no relevance in modern times when drivers like Button went from British F3 straight to F1 and Raikonnen from British Formula Renault to F1! He raced in the Spanish Nissan powered series (can't remember it's name) last season and had a CART drive lined up until Minardi offered him the seat.
(What is the Nissan powered series called!? It appears to be a graveyard for F1 rejects with the likes of Bernoldi et al racing! I suspect we'll see Pizzonia there in a few weeks time!)
