What about leagues?

What about leagues where you would have specific classes of cars? You would go through a schedule of courses, and would win depending on your points at the end of the season. 1 point for 3rd, 2 points for 2nd, 3 points for 1st. Some examples are below.

SUPERSTOCK SERIES: 1950s stock cars, such as the C-300 or Rocket 88
GRAND NATIONAL: 1960s stock cars, such as the Talladega or Charger Daytona
SPORTSMAN'S TRUCK SERIES: 1960s muscle trucks, such as the Ranchero or El Camino

The problem with NASCAR compared to the rest of the racing world is that a stock car is compeletly inferior to the rest of the world series. Put a LMP car in there and that's like bringing a howitzer to a gun fight. As for the leauge thing, I think it would be neat to have a leauge like that. I've always wanted to do a race series similar to the JGT leauge.

Why compare a NASCAR to a LMP car? Why not say "I dont like oval racing because of .........."
The idea is that you will not be allowed to enter a LMP car in a NASCAR race.
NASCAR's are built to a set of regulations that limit what can be done and thus limits performance.
LMP cars are built to a completely different set of regulations and thus have a lot higher performance. You cannot compare the two classes.
A LMP car will beat any other class of race car world wide apart from F1 cars.
I reckon a NASCAR would be better than the Current BTCC entrants, but only because they are built to certain rules.
More Leagues with strick entry rules will only enhance the game.
