What about those Leafs?

Another season without a post season berth? Whats new for the leafs.

As usual, my rangers are heating up going down the stretch.

If only money could buy a cup, we'd be in business....well, and if we got rid of jagr too.

The Leafs have nothing. In fact, the Eastern Conference in general has nothing this year.

yeah, the eastern conference only has the best two players in the league's recent history in Crosby and Ovechkin, but you're right, they have absolutely nothing. The east will take the cup, you can book that.

by the way, the rangers blow and will be one and done, and dont count the leafs out yet, they're only 5 points out and gained two on both bufflao and philly last night. Jagr will get his period during round 1 for the rags and the rest of the aging free agent aquisitions that they overpaid for will flop as usual.

THERE'S AN AMBER ALERT OUT FOR CHRISTINE DRURY...HES BEEN GONE ALL YEAR.

The advantage for the top teams in the east is that they'll dispatch the lower seeds pretty easily. In the West, teams are going to be beating the living piss out of each other in the first three rounds. I can't wait 👍.

Toskala allowed one of the most hmourous goals I have seen this year, but, being a goalie, I no longer see the humour in it. Other than that, if he were to keep this form for the next season, the Leafs WILL go farther next season.

This one-

Well Sundin is finally gone after signing a one year deal with Vancouver. To be honest, I´ve been a huge fan of his for his entire career (obviously, he´s been my favorite team`s captain) but I´m glad the whole saga is over as frankly I was getting pretty sick of it. I wish him well with Vancouver, and I hope he can take home a cup before he retires, but honestly, I can´t feel the same about him anymore as he kind of screwed the leafs over by not leaving last year when they could have actually got something for him, instead of having to let him go for nothing.

Alas, they´re finally rebuilding, and though they haven´t looked that great this year, they´ve been playing pretty well these last two weeks, including the dismantling of my hometown Pens.

Also, I really think Ron Wilson and Brian Burke can turn things around...they´re definitely the right men for the job. And hopefully the money grubbers at MLSE will cede enough power to Burke to get the job done correctly.

Bad news for Toronto right now as they're getting spanked by the Dallas Stars 7-1 with about 10 minutes left in the final period. If this holds, ouch!

Didn´t see the game as I´m in Peru right now, but the Leafs are one of the most inconsistant teams in hockey. I do like this years team a lot more than last years though.
