It's been mentioned, but my heart sank when Forza added the V8 Supercars. Sank again when Project Cars added the one FG V8 Supercar.

Even if PD added the old Car of the Future(2013-2017) V8 Supercars, that'd be a win for GT players.

It's going to be interesting how PD add cars from older era race series.

Second generation Bel Air a.k.a the Tri-Five Chevy; the textbook American car. All three would be nice.

Heck yeah.
Well, if Kaz saying GTS is like Gran Turismo 1, but a new chapter, GT7 could be like GT2. That game has all the sport & luxury sedans and wagons.

I tried making my own V8 Supercars series back in GT5 or GT6. We need these type cars. ;)
Edit: GT6 from 2014

My own pretend V8 Supercars. All cars: 3.16 Final Drive 320kmh, Camber F/R: -6/-1.5, no ABS/TCS

Mazda cars, particularly the RX-8. i see they only have 15 Mazdas on GT Sport. They even removed the RX-7 TC. I Just want more mazdas car, and possibly a premium version of the Mazda RX-8 Concept LM Race Car from GT4 & GT5. oh and possibily RE Amemiya's

P.S The latest game of the franchise i played is gt5 and a teeny bit of gt6

If we're going to go with new Mazda's never seen in a GT game, the RX-2 thru RX-4 are a good start. We have the SA22 in GT2. Sadly, for whatever reason, that car has not been carried over to any other GT game.

Mazda have been working on reviving/restoring their old Le Mans GT racers. Adding those historical machines, should be a given.

A pipe dream but: The new track focused version of the Ferrari 812. Probably the last of the NA Ferrari V12s with a 9500RPM redline. Will officially be unveiled on May 5.

I'd be fine with just the 812 and F12, alongside the return of the 599. I also wouldn't mind one of the predecessors to the 599, like the 550. Honestly, there are so many Ferraris just in the modern era alone that I'd like to see, but I'd also want some of those classic Ferraris that really show off Pininfarina's work.

As for modern Ferrari models go, I could realistically see the 488, since the F8 seems too new, as well as the aforementioned F12 and possibly the 812, and I'd also really hope we see the FF. The Portofino could be a great contemporary equivalent of the first-gen California if the latter returns from the PS3-era, though I wonder if the Portofino seems too new. Then there's the Roma - definitely seems too new, but I also feel like it's not sporty enough, as if it were more for luxury than sport. And of course, the one potentially returning Ferrari I want the most is the SP1.

I also wonder if Ferrari could end up creating a VGT? I feel like there's been a few moments where a brand comes out with a VGT out of the blue without being on the official list, like Jaguar. It'd be great if it was also a Gr.1 machine, as I don't know if we can really wait until Ferrari's LMH entry for a potential Gr.1 car from them, as I feel that the 333SP is too old, despite technically being a fit for Gr.1. I similarly hope that Lamborghini both enters LMDh, and that its VGT is also in Gr.1, as the shape and power figure for the latter makes it seem like it would be a good fit.

I personally really want the Alfa to show up, considering the lack of IRL racing that it did.

Bugatti Bolide (or any of the new Bugattis spawned from the Chiron).

bugatti-bolide-ogi.jpg
Just more Bugatti models in general would be nice. I could see the EB110 appearing, as well as its racing variant as a Gr.3 car. I do want this Bolide, too, as well as the Chiron and the revival of the EB110, but that's before we get into the original era of Bugattis, when Ettore himself was still around. I think about three models from that era should be fine.

Indeed, it'd be a great way for Alfa Romeo to have a Gr.1 car.

I'd personally like to see NASCAR, IMSA and TCR represented in GT7 as well. Not to mention, they should expand their line-up of Super GT cars (both old and new).

I think IMSA, specifically the DP, DPi, and LMDh classes would be a fantastic way to get more Gr.1 cars for automakers that don't have them, such as Cadillac and Chevrolet, but also provide more options for other automakers, such as Nissan or Mazda. (Especially since the Nissan GT-R LM Nismo both flopped in real life, and is hardly the optimal Gr.1 choice in GT Sport.) And that's before we get into the rumors of who's interested in LMDh - I've heard Lamborghini, McLaren, and Lexus are among them.

Group 1 needs a complete rethink in GT7 because the selection of cars that are part of the class in GT Sport is convoluted and confusing.

Production race cars. Production race cars with roll cages. No aero bits on the exterior. The race cars that were like the original BTCC touring cars.

PD have us this:

GR.4 is there. We just need wing and canard delete options(we have that with the GR.3 road cars). GTAuto could be the place to do such conversions. Could help to drop the group from GR.4 to GR.N. Even further by equipping those cars with SS tyres.

It would be great if in GT7 we have racing conversions, like Project cars 3. I explain, you have a car with Gr. 4 and/or Gr. 3 variation (for example Alfa Romeo 4c), you go to GT Auto and select the racing modification that you like. I think that it would be a good idea. It is like racing modification in the old games.

The 1967 STP-Paxton Turbo Car was a turbine powered, 4-wheel drive Indycar designed by Ken Wallis and Andy Granatelli. As innovative and courageous of a design it was, it nearly won the Indianapolis 500 on its debut.

"Parnelli Jones qualified the car at Indianapolis in sixth place at 166.075 mph. At the start of the race, he quickly took the lead and rarely relinquished it. However, with just eight miles left to go, he coasted into the pits with a transmission bearing failure. The car was refurbished and entered by STP in the 1968 Indianapolis 500. Driven by Joe Leonard, the car crashed into the turn four wall during practice and never raced again." - Wikipedia

The car driven by Parnelli Jones and Joe Leonard was restored after its 1968 crash, and is currently in the Smithsonian locked away from the public. It is the only model made.

Maserati purpose-built the 420M/58, often simply called the Eldorado after its sponsor, for this race. The engine was derived from the unit used in the 450S sports car, with its capacity reduced to 4.2 litres to meet the Indycar technical regulations. Equipped with four twin-choke Webers, it produced so much power and torque that a two-speed gearbox sufficed; first gear was only used to take off from the pits. The final drive was solid and the typical Borrani wire wheels where replaced by Hallibrand alloys to cope with the high cornering forces typical of oval racing. The Eldorado used a modified version of the 250F chassis, in which the engine was offset to the left to improve balance when driving on a banking. A vertical stabilising fin was added, no luxury given its top speed of more than 350km/h.downloadfile.png Alfa Romeo sportivaf7044e319653f2dfdfaf5941cdeffcf4.jpg 1913 Partin Palmer

Late reply but they would need to completely revise their classifications. Get rid of the N Class system (which from the reveal showed they haven't) and swap it for a system based on motorsport type with era sub-categories.

Hey all,

What all new cars do you want to see in GT7? (All new meaning never seen before in the franchise)

Personally, I would love to see:

MB AMG GT Black Edition
Ferrari 488 Pista
Lambo Huracan Evo
And some of the new GT3 cars (I.E. AMG GT3 Evo, Audi R8 LMS Evo, Huracan GT3 Evo, AM Vantage GT3 2020 etc.)
As well as the 570s GT4 and newer Gr.4 cars.

And of course, I would love to see all of the classic cars or modern classics from previous GT games return.

How about you?
. Porsche GT2RS
