These cars should've appeared in GT years ago. It's a shame that we're still wishing for them.

Think the sp somethin,something is not even in production,or I want to see all spec's from the manufacturer if it exits.We have one Königsegg that is recorded to around 277,9 mph in real life on a real road in the us.It was on jay leno's garage.That's a real buyible car.And Königsegg is from sweden that you can buy.Not the fantasy Sp something that goes over 500-699 km/h on a standard road.No offense to the one who posted it

Koenigsegg Agera RS CN.143 '17

"The specific Agera RS that broke the speed record is said to be chassis number 143, hence the "CN.143" moniker. This particular model has the same engine as the One:1. It's said to reach a speed of 277.9mph (roughly 447km/h) and can run 0-400km/h in roughly 26.88 seconds.

It is still the fastest car in the world today, and the SSC Tuatara doesn't count as it isn't homologated for road use just yet, not to mention the speed record fiascos surrounding it, and neither does the Bugatti Chiron Super Sport 300+, as it was a pre-production prototype which ran in a single direction.

This car even broke a speed record held on public roads, originally set by Mercedes before World War II, not to mention the 0-400-0 record of 33.29 seconds, when it ran all over the Nevada highway which was closed just for the speed record attempt. With aerodynamic styling nearly inspired by the One:1, it provides the car with ample downforce to match, proving that even with all that extreme speed comes with exciting track performance, allowing it to try and set fast lap records too.

Considering the Agera is discontinued, despite this being a recent car, I could imagine this being sold in Brighton Antiques in the game.
I don't think the New Car Dealership will be limited to current production cars, specially when GT7 will most likely only have a dozen of cars that are currently in production.
 
Is it? From what it was revealed so far:
Audi has only the TTS and new R8 LMS, Aston Martin just the DB11, Alpine A110, BAC Mono, BMW i3, Chevrolet Camaro SS and ZL1 1LE maybe, new Ford GT (both road and race car) and Mustang GT350R, new NSX and S660, Lexus LC500, Mazda Roadster S, Porsche Taycan Turbo S, Toyota Supras ('19, '20, GT4 and GT3), Tundra, GR86 and GR Yaris.

So 23 cars. Everything else either received some sort of facelift (like the Huracan) or was replaced entirely.

Carroll Shelby's 1955 Ferrari 410 Sport Scaglietti, 0598CM 56

Carroll won 4 races in a row, and his first national championship in a which ironically happened to be a Ferrari.

I know that but I call it königsegg just because it's made in ängelholm.I'm still a swede and Koenigsegg is a different spell for the outside world of sweden.It's easier that way.They still make a lot of car's and develope new one's as well.They did the first supercar that cleared all emissions in the world.
 
That new Ferrari Daytona SP3 could be nice. Obviously, it's not going to appear at GT7's launch since it was just revealed recently, but it'd be nice to have in an update. I'd also love to see the Testarossa and the 360.

Yeah, we have haven’t had an up to date Ferrari since the F1 car. Doubt they’ll start now.
 
I’d say the LaFerrari was relatively new when it came at GT Sport’s launch.
I’d have to check that. 2013, game was to come out 2016 and delayed to 2017. Any new Ferraris come out same year as the MX-5 ND, R35 GT-R ‘17 models and Porsche race cars from 2016? 2013 seem a generation older.
edit: 488 came out in 2015. That’s a bread & butter Ferrari. Should have, could have made it.
edit2: LaFerrari is from 2013-2016. I guess it might be relative to the initial GTS launch of 2016, but four years old is a long time to not update a car for a new game.

There are many brands PD didn’t update(MINI, Aston Martin, Fiat), but PD working with these brands for all These years, at least one car from each manufacturer, should be from the year of game release or the year before game release.

Whether it comes in the base game or as an update DLC, I'd love to see the new TVR Griffith. Having that car is exactly the type of car GT7 needs if it retains the Past, Present, Future philosophy. Of course this is merely my own opinion. Regardless, I think having a newer TVR would show players that TVR isn't some dead outdated brand.

Who even owns the rights to this vehicle? Leyland has been dead for years and used to be part of BMC which included Rover, Austin and Morris, which in turn was purchased by BMW and subsequently dissolved in the 2000's. I don't know if BMW even cares about the brand but the buck probably stops with them unfortunately. Unless there's another party involved.

GM still own the trademarks to Pontiac so that marque is generally a non-issue.
 
Continuing my trend of wanting more 80s/90s sports cars in GT, here's another set of cars I'd be excited to see.

When IMSA came up with the GTS/GTS-1 formula in 1992 (Grand Touring Supreme, silhouette cars with template bodies, but constructed as lightweight carbon-fiber tub cars a la the GTP prototypes - as fast in a straight line as a GTP car, faster around most courses than the Camel Lights prototypes) there were a few prominent factory entries. The Cunningham Nissan 300ZXs, the Jack Roush Ford Mustangs, and the Rocketsports Racing Oldsmobile Cutlass Supremes:

As built by Rocketsports, these three cars had small-block V8s ranging from 6 to 6.5 liters displacement. They were driven during the 1992 and 1993 seasons by team principal Paul Gentilozzi, as well as Darin Brassfield, Scott Pruett, and Irv Hoerr, among others. I don't remember Rocketsports winning any endurance races with these cars, but they won plenty of the sprints.

At the end of the 1993 season, Gentilozzi was to go drive Nissans, so he sold the operation to Harry Brix/Brix Racing, a Camel Lights team. The plan with Brix was to continue on as the factory Olds team in IMSA, eventually running the new Aurora GTS-1 body that was in the works, but that wouldn't debut until 1996. But, the Northstar-based 4-liter twincam V8 the Aurora was supposed to run WAS ready by '95, so Brix dropped it in the Cutlass, and took the re-liveried Oldsmobiles racing.

The result of the Rocketsports chassis, Aurora V8, and Brix team management was a bunch of wins and the IMSA GTS-1 championship for Irv Hoerr in 1995. Irv did well in 1994 too, but finished third in the points behind Nisan drivers Johnny O'Connell and Steve Millen.

By 1996, the Aurora body was ready and was immediately plopped onto the former Cutlass chassis. IMO, one of the prettiest cars ever to run in a GT series.

The Aurora program was just as successful as the Cutlass, with several sprint race class wins, a class win at the 1996 24 Hours of Daytona (driven by the father/son team of Charles and Rob Morgan, as well as Joe Pezza, Irv Hoerr, and Jon Gooding) and a second IMSA GTS championship for Irv Hoerr. A Riley and Scott prototype running the same V8 as the Aurora would also take the overall win at Daytona that year.

From the late 1980s until the late 1990s, the Cutlass Supreme body was a stalwart American racing, seeing duty in NASCAR, Trans-Am, and IMSA competition, winning races and championships everywhere it went. The Brix efforts with the Cutlass and Aurora represented the last moments of motorsports glory for a storied marque before GM shuttered them, and I'd be thrilled to see them immortalized in a game like Gran Turismo.
