The '91 and '92 seasons of IMSA, WSC (WEC) and JSPC had the best looking generation in Group C. It would be great for us if PD added some of these cars to GT7.

The car in GT is a 1995 Eclipse GT, but also it's a car from previous GT games and therefore not an all-new car. You even have pictures of it from old GT games...
This thread is for cars that are new to the series, not cars returning from old games.
Questionable opinion perhaps but i would like to see some NASCAR/Stock cars. If they couldn't get the license then they could just create their own fictional stock cars just like what Project Cars did. They could do a retro 80s/90s version and also a more modern 2020s take.
This also makes me wonder about Indy cars. I don't think Gran Turismo ever had them in any game so far, i wonder why?
The truth is PD doesn't even need to bring the FW14 if there are licensing issues. Just bring a generic model of the FW14, as you did with the Lotus 97t bringing a replica. By the way, PD already did this in Gran Turismo 3.

As a fan of WEC I would love to see all of these in Gran Turismo 7, plus the full roster of circuits and the option to create multi class races with a lot more cars running at the same time.
You're probably not, but I never was thinking about looks when wanting these. It's for the racing aspect, it's kinda ridiculous that the only LM Hypercars entry GT7 has is the GR010. In a field of mostly fictional cars.
Definitely not the same, only thing thats similar is the engine. Everything else is different on the ACR. If we are going to do what you suggest, they should get rid of the extra R35 GTRs.
