With the gtplanet article about Stellantis returning to licensing, what newer Stellantis models do you want to see added to GT7?

For me, it's the following:

Damn, my list is too long, but here are some cars missing sooooo much in this game:

Racecars:
Ferrari 296 GT3
Ferrari 488 GT3
McLaren 720S GT3
BMW M4 GT3
some LeMans / WEC models from Glockenhaus and so on...

Street Cars:
McLaren Senna
Ferrari SF90 Stardale
add at least some Koenigsegg!!!
SSC Tuatara

Stop releasing hundreds of already exciting models from Japanese manufacturers. The difference in amount of cars is already extreme. Especially when it comes to GT Racing, the European cars dominate not only the GTWC Europe, but also Asia and America. Why the hell then these countless japanese cars... It's already more than enough. I don't want to see another version of the Nissan or Toyota or whatever. Looks the same anyway and you can't use them in 99% of the races anyway.

Hey all,

What all new cars do you want to see in GT7? (All new meaning never seen before in the franchise)

Personally, I would love to see:

MB AMG GT Black Edition
Ferrari 488 Pista
Lambo Huracan Evo
And some of the new GT3 cars (I.E. AMG GT3 Evo, Audi R8 LMS Evo, Huracan GT3 Evo, AM Vantage GT3 2020 etc.)
As well as the 570s GT4 and newer Gr.4 cars.

And of course, I would love to see all of the classic cars or modern classics from previous GT games return.

How about you?
F1 cars and even more Le Mans type cars, from the 80's and 90's and 2000's. Something is terribly wrong with licensing rules if old cars [that is not for sale from car factories] are not allowed to appear in video games without legal approval.

Modern GT3 cars for me - pretty much every manufacturer has a significant GT3 upgrade on track now. The AMG was a great start but I want the 720s, the 992, the 296, M4, etc…

BUT - I know this isn’t a just a GT game, and others want cars and events that have a broad range. It’s why this is really hard for PD compared to like ACC or something. Not the thread for it but I wish there was more reason to use a bunch of the cars I have. That said, GT3 in VR in GT is so good I have to just pray they keep with it.

That said, GT7's eSports side of things predominantly features GT3 cars. You'd think they'd highlight the latest and greatest instead of still racing Ferrari 458s when its successor has its own successor.

Well, I wanted to see a few racing specs from Mazda Spirit Racing and we got them represented, in a couple forms. I’ll add this to the list:
"MAZDA SPIRIT RACING ROADSTER CNF concept (No. 12 car)" will enter the ST-Q class Combination of 2L gasoline engine SKYACTIV-G 2.0 and gasoline alternative carbon neutral fuel

We already have the 2015 & 2022 1.5L. Time to get that bump up in displacement. The datamine shows the ND RF model, which is a 2L. Might see it at some point.

Phantom Corsair '38

To be sold in the Hagerty Collection (Legend Cars).

The Phantom Corsair is a pre-war concept and love-letter to art deco designed by Rust Heinz, a visionary of the world of car design.

#Road Car, #Concept Car

The 1930s, despite it being the era of the Great Depression, left a lasting impact on the automotive industry and architecture, as the art deco design movement was heavily prominent during this era. This particular machine, dubbed the Phantom Corsair was designed with the ideal vision of looking far into the future ahead.

It was designed by renowned automobile designer Rust Heinz (with relation to the family responsible for the ketchup brand), and the body seems to use the Cord 810 as the foundation for this remarkable automobile, as the Cord 810 was said to have the most refined chassis out of any American automobile at the time. He specifically designed it to have a swooping, aerodynamic shape with extremely pronounced art deco features, something that could be considered as a supervillain's signature car in modern times.

Other than the styling, the technical underpinnings are also ahead of its time, being powered by a 125hp 4.7-litre "Lycoming" V-8 linked to an electrically-operated four-speed transmission, driving all of this power to the front wheels. Front-wheel drive cars were not very common in cars of the pre-war era, with the Citroen Traction Avant being the best example, but given Rust Heinz's forward-thinking nature of the car's design, he had the car revolve around the FF layout, hence the elongated nose.

While not built as something inherently sporty, the original idea for the Corsair was a sedan that could seat up to four people, so as a consequence, it was heavier than most passenger cars, weighing in at 2,100kg. Despite this, it's fast enough to hit 115mph (185km/h), speeds that would be considered as hypercar territory during the pre-war era.

Limited production was originally planned during the car's reveal in 1938, with the car's development reportedly costing over $24,000 ($519,000 as of 2023), with the car originally planned to have a sticker price of $12,500 ($270,000), but this did not materialize, as Rust Heinz died in a car accident a year later just before these plans came into fruition.

As such, the Phantom Corsair remains a one-hit wonder and one of the most influential concept cars of all time, definitely one to watch for in the history books. The car also provides inspiration to the decopunk genre, spanning from comic books to television series and even video games, which proves its allure is sure to leave an imprint on people's minds as a truly unforgettable machine.

Ford Mustang Dark Horse '24

To be sold in Brand Central.

#Road Car

The "Dark Horse" variant of the latest Mustang is a bleeding-edge, track-ready supercar that puts it as an international sports racing car first before it is the familiar muscle car that it always was.

Ever since its inception in 1965, the Ford Mustang has been a beloved and well-known pony car easily fitting in to the muscle car genre, and whatever anyone thought of it, it was easily one of the best-selling sports cars spanning over six generations, whether it was used as a practical sports car, or even a status symbol.

It was also thanks to Carroll Shelby which enhanced the Mustang's appeal through motorsport, with numerous Shelby iterations of the Mustang taking it to whole new levels, especially in most SCCA leagues, where Shelby-tuned Mustangs and even Boss Mustangs dominated the circuit. Mustangs in motorsport would also continue to be a familiar sighting in IMSA GT and the SCCA Pro Series during the 80s and 90s, and in modern times, both NASCAR and FIA GT4.

Fast forward to 2022, the seventh generation of Mustangs was introduced with a new focus in mind: pure motorsport. This was further exemplified during its unveiling, known as the "Stampede", where they introduced a special model known as the "Dark Horse", and proposed many racing versions of the new Mustang such as those in FIA GT3, GT4 and even V8 Supercars.

The Mustang Dark Horse was built as a track-focused model which harkens back to the Boss 302 Mustang from a decade earlier, featuring the most refined version of the Coyote engine technology, a 5.0-litre V-8, producing exactly 500hp and 418 lb-ft of torque, which Ford claims is the most powerful non-Shelby Mustang ever created. Transmission choices range from a six-speed manual or a ten-speed paddle-shift transmission.

It also features numerous aerodynamic improvements such as a fixed rear wing, aggressive fenders, as well as a finely-sculpted splitter and skirts for enhanced downforce in order to become the master of technical circuits. Couple that with an aggressive track suspension kit and setup, consisting of well-tuned sway bars, shocks, strut towers and braces, as well as six-piston Brembo brakes, and for the first time for a non-Shelby Mustang, carbon fibre wheels, and you've got a machine that's built for maximum precision.

Track-only models such as the Dark Horse S with significant weight reduction and full race equipment, as well as the even more hardcore Dark Horse R, with its own IMSA-sanctioned racing series, are also on offer as well, effectively turning the road-going Dark Horse into a homologation model in its own right.

To sum it all up, the Mustang Dark Horse is built as a love-letter to Ford Performance's passion for racing, especially with the fire of their competitive spirit that continues to burn brightly even after the past 60 years. What was once a pony car that had become an international icon has now become a true international sports racing machine ready to take on the world.

GT2 Version is basically a track-day beast that was able to compete with likes of GT3 cars during Nürburgring 24 hours endurance races, surpassing it's limits on such challenging track. Also I think would be a nice addition to the game, KTM needs more representation.

GTX/GT4 Versions competed in their own category and albeit slower than GT2 Version, still can provide great driving experience. Again, we need more KTM cars into the game, museum has GTX version there, I believe
