What all new cars do you want to see in GT7?

Well... Lancia unfortunately doesn't have in its current range models that would be good for the Gr. 3 and Gr. 4 categories. Currently the range is reduced to the Ypsilon only, which is shameful, considering the history, the prestige of the brand.
I thought they could bump up the ypsilon to gr4. But yes its very unfortunate situation with lancia.
Well, in the absence of anything new they could always bring the lancia beta montecarlo.
Less serious situation than that of Lancia, but not ideal at the moment for inclusion in Gr. 3 or Gr. 4. The current Opel range does not have particularly sporty models, it does not have a sedan (the Insignia went out of production IIRC), it doesn't have a coupé... They should base everything on the Astra maybe. For Gr. 4 it could be done, for Gr. 3 probably not (unless they go for another wild FF to FR or MR conversion).
They could bring back the astra and the calibra and put them in gr4 against the alfa romeo 155. And also add the mercedes 190e.
I think Cadillac and GM in general have a privileged relationship with Turn 10 Studios and therefore Forza (we are well aware that the V-Series.R will be the cover car of the next Forza), I hope I'm wrong, but if I'm right I'm afraid it's hard to get it in Gran Turismo... Too bad, because it would be nice to have not only the ATS-V GT3 and maybe a Gr. 4 version of it, but also the aforementioned V-Series.R in Gr. 1, with its roaring V8.
I was thinking exactly in the ats-v for gr3 and gr4.
Well cadillac is in project cars 3 and crew motorfest. We can always hope they can come to an agreement with pd.

The closest “newest” car for Opel, would be this:

A nasty reverse rebadge would have to happen, which I doubt would happen. However, maybe a deal could be struck for both badges or a triple badge, including Buick. :sly:

Volvo is another one. Depends if Cyan Racing want to be generous with a couple cars.

Too much power for GT4(650bhp/1410kg). They’d be a closer fit for Gr.3.
Among other things, the BoP could then easily bring the performance of these cars closer to those of the GT3 cars. Lowering the weight above all (but also the power, let's say below 600 hp at least).

While it would be practically impossible to bring them closer to the Gr. 4, even with the BoP. Not so much for the weight (about 1,400 kg, there are several Gr. 4s that are there in terms of weight), but for the power (it should be reduced to about 400 hp, a little more).

In short, in my opinion they could also be among the Gr. 3. However, offline with their real specifications they would be almost useless (we could limit the power, but we couldn't do anything to lower their weight).

Well there was a leak talking about v8 supercars.
While, I'm sceptical about that leak, If we really were to have v8 supercars in gt7, the closer category in terms of power/weight is gr.3.
Unless they'd go for a v8 supercars thematic paid dlc and made them a category of their own, witch I also find unlikely.

I actually think that the Supercars won't arrive in GT7, I hope I'm wrong... They too have been present in Forza Motorsport for a long time, maybe there's some agreement we don't know about. I repeat, I hope I'm wrong.

Sorry no BOP is not going to solve anything especially when it comes to corners as the GT3 cars handle much better.

V8 supercars deserve their own category.

People need to stop allowing PD to mix different categories into 1 group and thinking bop will solve anything.

It will not apart from handicapping.

I said that badly. I meant that, as long as GT7 continues to have the current categories, cars like the V8 Supercars, if they arrive, will have their most appropriate position among the Gr. 3. But it is understood (and in other posts I wrote this clearly) that a reorganization of the categories would be desirable, for example by creating a special class for Group C cars which are currently mixed with LMP1s, LMP1-Hs and Hypercars, as well as eliminating the FF and AWD cars from Gr. 4 (to bring this category closer to the real GT4). And so on, and therefore the V8 Supercars deserve a category of their own.
