What all new cars do you want to see in GT7?

Purely from a need for an Australian four door touring car. Most likely, it’d be the road car. Just add the wide track & wide tyres, plus lower suspension and roll cage to complete the look.

For me each generation of Pagani has got worse looking - Zonda is stunning, the Huayra had a bulbous front, and the Utopia far too fussy in places.

Pagani Utopia is just a Zonda and a Huayra mashed together.

Edit: I don’t understand German and not sure who was driving. I did hear “Flugplatz” and the commentator said Jimmy Broadbent, Steve Brown and Misha….

He said "James" instead of Jimmy :D
Misha was the driver, thankfully he's okay. When the reporter interviewed one on the walkenhorst guys (one of their cars also crashed), they said that there was oil on the track, probably from the "sightseeing tourists"?!

How about the Aston Martin DBR1-2? It was the champion in 2009 season of the Le Mans Series against competition like the Peugeot 908 HDi FAP and Audi R10 TDI.

That was a stunning race car and me favourite thing about Project Cars. It was beautiful and sounded incredible.

Hey all,

What all new cars do you want to see in GT7? (All new meaning never seen before in the franchise)

Personally, I would love to see:

MB AMG GT Black Edition
Ferrari 488 Pista
Lambo Huracan Evo
And some of the new GT3 cars (I.E. AMG GT3 Evo, Audi R8 LMS Evo, Huracan GT3 Evo, AM Vantage GT3 2020 etc.)
As well as the 570s GT4 and newer Gr.4 cars.

And of course, I would love to see all of the classic cars or modern classics from previous GT games return.

I always thought the F355 Challenge is a shoo-in for Gr.4 (especially with Ferrari not having anything irl that fits for GT4 class or general production car racing classes, short of nerfing their latest car again).

Gotta be honest...including a bunch of EVs - even as our reality is quickly evolving - is going to be the thing that kills racing games and Gran Turismo for me.

The game is missing so many incredible road and race cars from history that it makes no sense to be adding new EVs. The industry hasn't even figured out how to give these cars any soul outside unique design graphics. They're high-style appliances and the driving experience is virtually indistinguishable between cars and brands. From a performance standpoint, there is no passion.

You could argue that the game is about racing and that you can race EVs just fine, but the game isn't just about racing. It's about car culture, and car culture is defined by passion. Unique drivetrains, unique layouts, unique handling characteristics, unique sounds, unique problems, these are some of the reasons people are passionate about their favorite cars or brands. So far, the existing crop of EVs is the most homogenized group of cars ever created, all having effectively the same exact drivetrain with the same layout making the same noises and producing the same amount of power with the same delivery. It's like buying a refrigerator - some of them have plastic shelves and some have glass but they all get cold the exact same way. Almost everything about their marketing is frivolous.

That's not passion. Passion is dying. Passion existed for sure, and the game should now be focusing on automotive passion and history the same way GT4 did when it introduced a magnificent number of classics and historical context to the series.

I'd much rather spend several hours of my life figuring out how to get a three-wheeled Mercedes around the Nurburgring than drive a completely hopeless electric car in a GT game.

I only suggested it because it's quirky and has decent handling. Not because I'm a contrarian and hate combustion engines because I don't, but as far as EV's go, the GV60 is a pretty good one which I wouldn't mind having.
