the new infernus in vice city is the countach

The cars in Vice City are very obvious as to what they are, but they have definitely made the in-game cars look alot less like the real versions of the cars than they were in the pre-game screenshots etc.

i.e. The Infernus' front fascia in the pregame pictures was totally Countach all the way, in the game it has totally different headlights etc.

The Phoenix (Firebird) in the pre-game movies etc had the 4 square headlights of the 1980 Pontiac Firebird, now it has completely different headlights.

The Blista Compact in the game, was previously known as the GPX which was about as close to CRX as you will ever get, it even had the GPX letters on the back of the hatch, but the one in the game has been totally remodeled to look almost nothing like a real CRX.

I think Rockstar got scared just before the game was released that car companies would protest to their cars being in the game un-licensed with almost exact replicas of them.

That is really too bad, because that was one of the main features I was looking forward to was realistic cars. But there are so many other features that it is hard to complain about an otherwise flawless game.
