Stupid lag. Alright, what I do is put "Rare" meat in the noodles, then pour the almost boiling water I have with me over the meat and noodles. The water cooks the meat, letting all the juices flow from the meat, where I then put a small bit of garlic in it. It is so delicious, my mouth is watering over it right now.

On the Border Tortilla chips and salsa. I love Mexican snacks!

And drinking VAULT- Drinks like a soda, kicks like an energy drink!!!

10 minutes later:
You need fats, salt and proteins that's easy to digest. Chicken soup.
I like chicken soup... IDEA!!!💡

3 1/2 minutes later:
Yummy chicken soup!!!!!!!!

A couple slices of pizza from the pizza "restaurant" in our student union. It's quite good, IMO. It has thick crust but it's nice and really crispy. (no corn meal on the pan though..:() It could use a little more basil in the sauce.

Fresh pineapple is the best. Too bad there's no way in hell I'm going out in -15F weather to get one.

I had grilled salmon and sweet potatoes for supper tonight. Outbloodystanding.

Lemonade made from lemons from our backyard lemon tree. Why not, since I've been eating oranges from our orange trees, avocado from our avocado tree, tangerines from our tangerine tree, grapefruit juice made from grapefruits from our grapefruit trees and that's it.

Dinner last was roasted chicken, potato wedges and carrots.

Just cut and ate an enormous pineapple I bought from Price Chopper. They were on sale :)

You have Price Chopper in Canada!? I thought it was a Kansas City thing! That's neat. EDIT: Wow.. Common name for grocery chains. New York, KC, New Zealand, and Canada.. all unrelated.

I downed an entire baguette at our NDSU french club meeting. :dopey:

The whole thing. Not half bad, although not really "pizza" in the traditional sence.

(Not the whole box, just one or two or three pieces.) See's Candies are awesome, I get them as gifts from the in-laws, since they're not for sale in this part of the country.

Anything that proclaims itself as "A Happy Habit" is bound to be addictive.

If you can stomach it, next try peanut butter sandwich with slices of cheese with your chicken soup. Even more proteins, fats and salt for your body. Sounds gross, but it's AWESOME! It's our families cure for a severe flu or cold. Been doing it for over 20 years, and I always feel a lot better.

Oh, and what we do is cut the sandwich diagonally and dunk the sandwich wedge in the hot chicken soup to melt both the cheese and the peanut butter. Again, sounds gross, but is AWESOME! Would I, Solid Lifters the gourmet, steer you wrong?

I tried this peanut butter and cheese invention and it's not bad at all.

Mmm. Love these candies. I can't believe there's not a place in the US doesn't sell them.

Drinking a Pibb Xtra right now though, to stay on topic.

Last night, something perilously close to double figures of pints of Tiger beer.

Ergo, today, well hung. Over. Well hungover.

I am half Asian. I lack an enzyme required to digest Alcohol, which then poisons my system. I've tried.

Well, I just made cheeseburgers for the first time! I used my George Foreman grill, and they are damn tasty if I do say so myself. Salt, pepper, and garlic powder with a slice of American cheese on top with mayo and mustard. Too bad I had to use sandwich bread instead of buns. It's was still really good though.

Anyone have any burger making recipes or tips? Solid Lifters? :D

Use 60% ground chuck and 40% ground sirloin. Chuck for flavor, sirloin for texture. Let the meat come to room temperature before grilling. Don't use pepper at all and salt the meat only during the grilling process.

I've had bad luck with the Forman Grill (it burns my food) so I use the BBQ outside, or my famous 'meat' iron skillet. Buy a cheap iron skillet and use nothing but meat for it. It'll 'season' the pan for tasty burgers for the future. Oh, and never wash it. Pour kosher salt in the pan, and let it sit for a hour, then wipe clean with a paper towel and store it away. NEVER WASH IT with soap and hot water.

If you BBQ the burgers, CLOSE THE BBQ LID! That's how they get so smokey and tasty. Flip them only once and NEVER mash them. That lets the juices out. And always cook them MEDIUM-RARE. A little pink isn't going to kill you and if it makes you sick, you need to shop elsewhere for your meat.

I like the following:

Bottom burger bun with Thousand Island dressing, dill pickle relish, tomato, lettuce, burger with cheese, slice raw white or red onion, ketchup and mustard and top bun. Grill the buns in the pan after burgers and done which lets the burgers cool down a bit before eating. It's best to 'rest' the burgers, for ten minutes or so, before eating.
