Just got done slamming a triple shot, 20oz, caramel mocha half flavor latte. :D

Correct. Bami = noodles; Nasi = rice

Indonesian food. Num-num. :)

Sounds good. Speaking of shrimp, I plan on making some shrimp scampi later this week. I bought some large peeled and deveined shrimp and some scampi sauce from the grocery store tonight. I know I'm not gonna use all the shrimp, so any ideas as to what to do with the rest of them? I was thinking of grilling some and putting them into some pasta.

Does your oven have a broiler? Use that for about two minutes on each side. Also, try brining them for about 30 minutes beforehand. That's the best way I like shrimp prepared.

As far as dishes go, I don't eat a lot of shrimp. Shrimp Nasi is about it for me and to make that you need some Nasi Goreng mix at the Dutch store (bakery).

Am I the only one to associate rice with Hitler now? Back on topic, Where do you work, SL? It's like you are a gourmet chef. I had my mom cook up one of your recipies, and it's delicious. Good work.

I don't work. I take care of the kids, mostly. I do help out with my woman's business. I had my business, she had her's. Mine failed, but her's took off like a rocket. So, I get to stay home, since one of us was going to be with the kids at home.

I do most of the cooking because my wife's cooking sucks. Plus, I'm home at the pre-dinner hour, so it just seem to fit. Plus, I've always loved to cook my own food growing up as a kid and as a young adult on my own. Again, it all just fell into place.

What dish of mine did you try?

Roast beef sandwich with asiago cheese, horseradish, and some lettuce.. Washing it all down with some Perrier mineral water.

Gehaktballen. I tried it, it's delicious. I don't know how to pronounce it, though.

Ever hear a Dutch person pronounce Van Gogh before? The G is 'throat clearing sound' so you know.

GUH-HAWKED-BALL-UN is best I can describe with words to help you pronounce it correctly.

Oh, Hamburger Helper:"Stroken My Hoffer!". Hey, it "makes a great meal!"

Well, I was going to season those shrimp I bought with sea salt and pepper, cayenne powder, and garlic powder and then grill them, but I went out for wings with some friends instead...perhaps Sunday night I will grill them.

Shrimp and artichoke pizza, my boss got it for us tonight at work and told me to take the rest home...man is this stuff great!

Had a Baconator about 2 hours ago

I have to say it was pretty nasty.
Agreed. I had one a few months ago and I think it's still in me belly somewhere. I won't ever be getting one of those again.
